Can I unlock bootloader of SM-G9910 (Snapdragon) just like any Exynos Version. - Samsung Galaxy S21 Questions

-Want to buy snapdragon s21, rooting is must for titanium backup to freeze/unfreeze some apps.
-Repute of Exynos is not good (Officially Available in Pakistan).
- Which Version of Snapdragon S21 is best to unlock Bootloader, in my 2 hours of searching I feel SM-G9910 Which is Chinese or HK options is easier option?
- Will it unlock Bootloader just like Exynos from just developer options without PC?
- Is SM-G9910 the best and only option in Snapdragon and rooting?
(Information is little bit complexed here. using iPhone XS > iPhone 11 Pro from 2 years now. Want to try android now, rooting was easier back in the days when I use to have OnePlus, 2, 3, 3t, 5, 6t, could root it in sleep even.

Did you ever figure this out? I'm seeing mixed results when searching, can anyone confirm if the SM-S9110 Snapdragon has an unlockable bootloader, or if paid service is needed

To buy or not to buy? - Questions: RN3pro official MIUI, rooting and custom ROMs

Hi all!
I live in Germany and would like to buy a RN3 pro from Aliexpress. I don't want to stick around with MIUI but would like to try out different CM-based ROMs. The community here seems very alive, but I am confused by certain things. So I hope you can help me :highfive:
1) Some months ago, I followed the news about the Mi4c. People were complaining that Xiaomi won't let them unlock their phones. Are there no such problems with the RN3 pro?
2) Concerning the official firmware: I read that the phones come either with a Chinese or international firmware (or sometimes even bloated by retailers), and each has a hundred of version numbers. Are all versions possible to unlock? Or do I need a particular version to be able to root/unlock bootloader/flash a custom ROM?
3) Are there any differences between the 2/16 gig and the 3/32 gig version of the RN3pro apart from RAM/storage?
4) Is Xposed working fine on CM-based ROMs?
Best regards
1. I spent around a month to get it officially unlocked, till then I unlocked unofficially in few mins. But if you unofficially unlock whenever you flash a rom you must be more conscious and read every step that's given by Developer or else you will end up bricking your device(don't worry there are solutions for very bricking scenario) . So if this is not a concern you can buy
2. Whatever the firmware phone may come with you can flash MIUI global firmware and unlock it from there.
3. Nope not that I know of.
4. Yes it's working.
Welcome to the community.

1)as an unlock reason I pasted some chineese text found in the Internet and after 1 week I got my unlock code. So no problem there
2)Developer rom is recommended for that, but I think that the never versions of stable build also support unlocking. Anyway, it's easy to install developer rom with locked bootloader
3)nope
4)yep

1) If the phone is updated to the latest firmware (7.3.2 at the time of writting) then the bootloader unlocking process time will depend on how long it takes them to approve the permission for you (got my phone on Tuesday and unlocked it today).
2)Yes all are eligible, but you have to be on the latest one. Likely you will get with an outdated Chinese rom and will have to update via MIUI updater (or similar name of the official software). I also suggest looking for the phone from else where, like here in the EU (think ebay.ie had some cheap ones), since i had to pay an extra 50eur for taxes and expenses (am from Lithuania).
3) No idea, likely none. I got the 3gb version because it's more future proof and can upload 2 videos at the same time vie desktop version of facebook. Also the software itself uses about a gig of ram. Plus it's doesn't cost that much more and a gig of ram makes a difference.
4) No idea, wasn't a fan of xpossed before and am not planing to become one.

Redmi Note 3 32GB Mediatek version - unlock bootloader

Hi, I need help. My girlfriend bought a Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 32GB / 3GB RAM Mediatek Helio X10 version.
I want to upgrade the firmware because it needs an upgrade. Since she bought it, February, it didn't updated one single time, and it has some bugs that upset her. So, here is the problem.
I already asked for permission from Xiaomi to unlock the bootloader, and already got it. When I tried to unlock, got the 50% problem (Current account is different from the account info on the device). Since then, tried to flash (from the Updater App) the developer ROM, also with no success (couldn't verify package).
The last option, I believe I have, is to manually flash (using MI FLASH software) the developer ROM and after that, unlock the bootloader to finally install the MIUI 8.0 (that's the goal of all this, with the unlocked bootloader).
So, how can I do this? Suggestions, tips, tutorials, guides or experiences, everything is welcome!
You have to go to latest Beta/developer Version and the Unlock should work...
Else just Update miui, because maybe the Bugs are fixed

To unlock the bootloader, you must have the MIUI developer installed on the device

I already solved it by 'hard flashing" the miUI 8... because that's the version she wanted. Didn't try to flash the miUI 6 [developer] because I was lazy, but mainly because I didn't see any gains for her from doing it [unlocking the bootloader].
Thank you 2 for the replies!
Hi Guys,
I've been searching for 2 days now for a clear guide on how to unlock the bootloader for the Mediatek version and haven't found anything other than the official way. Can someone point me in the right direction please?
Thanks.

Ah, MTK variant = Less development!
You should've bought snapdragon variant if you're interested in installing custom Roms (ie; latest version or Android) etc etc.. Anyhow, MTK variant is also got some development. First you've to install TWRP recovery. Then good to go.
Development for MTK can be found here :- https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-4/development
Thank you man.
I've looked a tutorial up on youtube for this TWRP Recovery: youtube.com/watch?v=6F65ZuUOR7M
Do I also have to install Lazyflasher?
One thing I can't figure out for myself is which ROM I should get/use? Are there any recommendations for it?

Dunno exactly, as I owns a snapdragon variant of Redmi-note-4.
Yep. You need to flash lazyflasher.zip if you wanna boot into system once you flash TWRP via fastboot command.
Check the above link, there are ROMs available, get a good one (you should ask users over there) flash it!
Good luck mayte! :good:

Is there such thing as tripping knox on one plus devices ?

Hi all,
I've recently bought a one plus 7t pro and I was wondering if I can tinker with it and just go back to stock at anytime without anything changing ?
Thanks

OnePlus 7T Pro
I meant in the style not knox in particular... Obviously

Well no, OnePlus even has a tutorial on how to root on their YouTube channel lmao. They allow unlocking and the only thing you'll get is a Qualcomm warning at boot (built into the soc can't do anything about it) and ur wildvine will go to L3 (also a Qualcomm thing I think)
OnePlus 7T Pro
^this!
I can confirm that unlocking the bootloader will turn winevine to L3, but if you use Magisk the phone will pass SafetyNet (and the play store will say device is certified)
If you restore to stock and lock the bootloader, noone will be able to tell that you unlocked it.

can the samsung A11 really have its bootloader unlocked + rooted?

from what i read all samsung mobiles from the galaxy S6 that use snapdragon processor have the bootloader locked without the possibility to unlock
but from many posts its seems really easy to unlock the samsung A11 SM-A115M
i just need to be sure, because i am about to buy it, but in case i can't unlock it i would buy the a10s instead
thanks!
still need a confirmation
thanks

About buy. I'm not suggest you to get this phon. It's x86, sometimes laggin' can be root with magisk but need to unlock bootloader. (You can do it pretty easy)
On my SM-A115F I'd got a root with magisk but it's not very useless. Because standart way to unlock bootloader just a bull**** and rapid dust in your eyes, you can't flash any custom rom because you not abled to unlock your SECURITY QUALCOM BOOT (QSB) option. So there's no any TWRP support untill someone jailbreak the QSB.
Also /system is RO so no very usefull options to change system files.
If you want A11 then better take A10.
A11 not really worth your money.
