Bad news, possible no more Xiaomi.EU when Poco releases Poco UI... - Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC Guides, News, & Discussion

Poco UI will be like a MIUI based OS for Poco devices like what Joy UI is for Black Shark devices.
Poco will be releasing the Poco UI for Poco devices at the end of 2021:

I've asked on Xiaomi.EU forum on the possibility of support for Poco UI and it seems like they will likely not support Poco UI in the future.
Poco devices that do not have Chinese equivalent devices, affected by this change to Poco UI and will NOT receive Xiaomi.EU roms in 2022 and beyond: Poco X3, Poco X3 Pro and Poco M3.
Devices affected by this change, but will still receive Xiaomi.EU rom support in the future since these devices are based on Chinese Redmi devices: Poco F2 Pro (Redmi K20 Pro in China) and Poco F3 (Redmi K40 in China).
The Poco F1 will not be affected by this change since the device is EOL for firmware updates.

Can't say for sure if that's a blessing or a curse. Since A11 update and this phone is getting a downgrade, maybe with Poco UI they will focus on fixing the system issues and actually give this phone a proper software, cause so far till now no custom roms, eu ports or even stock miui got anything good to offer as a daily driver
They all got 2 options: long living turtle, or the burning hot easily tired Rabbit

Poco F1 EOLed by Xiaomi.eu?

Really? So no MIUI11 for us?
For beta
Stable not eol
Use MiRoom's MIUI 11 port instead, it's amazing. Xiaomi.eu has been on life support for years, global official MIUI is pretty much identical - I don't know why people still use their stuff unless it's for Chinese-import Xiaomi devices that have no global ROM.

If you had asked me this one year ago i would have recommended POCO F1 without any thought. But it has now become quite old considering every month a new phone is launched. The major advantage over M2 pro is its SoC. Performance is greater than my needs ,SDM845 still holds up and there is a lot of development support for POCO F1. As for the camera, having a 48mp sensor is no good when the software is so ****ty. It can't take the full advantage. I can capture better pictures with a GCam on F1's 12mp camera. POCO F1 has enough battery that will get you through the day. But don't expect it to last upto 2 day. M2 pro has bigger battery, better fast charging, fine chipset and will be getting major android updates in the future. So it really comes down to what you want to do with your phone. If you want fast phone with ok camera and ok battery go for POCO F1. As for the software it still has a lot of development potential.
Cons for POCO F1
Getting old.
Notch sometimes bothers me.
There are chances of getting screen issues 'cause lot of users have complained about it.
poco F1.
Notch isnt really a problem for me.
m2 pro is just a rebranded redmi note 9 pro in my place.
cons, back design is bland af

Bland af ?
Depends on what you are looking for and your budget. If you can spend a bit more go for the F2 Pro.
If you are only looking at the M2 and F1 then go for the M2, sure the chip isn't as powerful as the F1, but the 720G is sufficient and it can play games (though not on the highest settings), but for sure it will still be supported updates wise since Poco basically declared that the MIUI12 update will be the last and we'd have to rely on enthusiastic devs for 3rd party ROMS. If you don't mind flashing and if you don't use the cameras that much anyway then the F1 may be for you. But like I said if you have a bigger budget go for the F2 Pro, Nord, or even a OnePlus 7 (if you can get it for a good price) family, or even the mi 10 lite

Poco F1 Gcam vs Poco X3 Cam

Hi guys. I have Poco F1 with Gcam and I think that it's great. But now we have the poco x3 available... Worth to change my F1 with Gcam for Poco X3 thinking about photo quality? Do I really have a improvement that makes sense to trade my F1 for a X3?
What's your opinion?
I have the same doubt
I guess you can wait for some more time so that poco f2 will launch in india which might probably use dimensity 1000 chipset. I by myself em waiting for a good successor to this awesome phone.
Waiting for my Poco X3
I don't know if I will leave my Poco F1. I love it. I will compare when X3 arrived.
I have both phones, but even if I love absolutely the gcam for Poco F1, I'm doing amazing shots with the stock Poco X3 camera! I love the 0,6 wide angle and I use everytime filters like the cyberpunk one that I love! I also tried gcam for the Poco X3, but it's not quite optimized yet... we'll see in the future!
Waiting for my Poco X3
Thanks Federico.
I'm still waiting for my Poco X3 to compare.
Hi guys! I can't upload GCam to Poco F1. When I load, Program gets error like stopped. What can I do? Do you have advice?

Poco F1 Community Support Present Status

Hello everyone.
I have been noticing that a lot of new devices are getting launched at quite affordable ranges. Noteworthy mentions are POCO X3 Pro, POCO F3 a.k.a. Mi 11x.
So as we all know these devices comes with great Qualcomm 800 series SOCs and are getting decent support from the community as well. Now the question arises
that is this somewhat slowing or even killing the dev support for POCO F1?
Please share your thoughts.

Question MIUI on OnePlus Nord 2

Since POCO F3 GT also has MediaTek Dimensity 1200 Processor, is it possible to port MIUI from POCO F3 GT to OnePlus Nord 2?
I'd prefer the stock Android 11 interface. Remember when Oxygen OS was as stock as possible? Yeah those were the days. MIUI is probably much better than what we have now.
It will be cool if we could decide what UI goes in our Phone
