Question Oneplus 8t Lineage os 18.1 on oneplus 9r - OnePlus 9R

Hello oneplus 9r owner! There is a good news if you want to try out lineage os on oneplus 9r. I successfully flashed oneplus 8t based lineage os via it's recovery and running without any issue. Please, try it at your own risk, and I in no any sense will bear responsibility if you brick/ damage your phone trying it.
Instruction: Firstly unlock your bootloader(see/search instructions on how to if you don't know)
- download oneplus 8t latest lineage os and recovery from here: https://download.lineageos.org/kebab
-boot your device in fastboot mode(v+, v-, power button), connect to PC, open power shell in platform tools
Type- fastboot flash recovery (recovery filename)
After flashing recovery boot to recovery mode in phone and click update/auto update (you can update via adb or USB device).
Reboot to recovery to flash gapps(use minimal nikki gapps
Again restart if you want to root with magisk and flash magisk. Done.
If by any chance you brick your phone( probably not going to happen unless you are stupid enough) then there is already msm tools available for 9r.
Enjoy!
Note: I tried all other available Roms for 8t but only lineage os is working. Probably due to partition issue. And no twrp for 8t does not work on 9r. So enjoy lineage os kebab until there are development available for our device.

There are few bugs, only single sim is working, gyro not working etc.

Maybe @grewal09 could finish the remaining touchpoints if he wishes to? Could be a good enough unofficial Lineage for the 9r, might only require a few tweaks/vendor/driver updates. Just thinking out loud.

Hi,
How are the temps on idle?
Mine are around 30~32 C on normal idle; after long night sleep: 25~28 C (Stock oos 11.2.LE28DA).
How is the battery backup?

Is this method still working.
Just bought my new OnePlus 9r today

it still works 2022.01.15

Will it work with newer linage versions?

If you have used other generic system images in this forum, it will certainly work.
Is there any installation guide for this types of ROMs??? I have a Redmi note 4 (mido) with official LOS 15.1 treble. I just flash the system image to the system partition without any wipes????? How is it done?????

I've been a long user of this rom on the Zuk Z2. Would there be any benefit or noticable difference between flashing this vs dedicated build for the zuk?
Add the installation instructions.
what about kenzo?
Is it support to zuk z2?
Will it work on redmi note 4 mido?

Thank you. Clean Flashed successfully on my device Mido over treble LOS15.1. Smooth set up and works like a charm at the moment. Will give more details after using it for few hours!
UPDATE:
1, Soft navigation key once activated, there is no option to disable it.
2, There is no option to disable Hardware keys. It stays side by side with Soft Nav Bar.
3, Fingerprint option not available under security & location settings. Smart Lock available though.
For those who are unsure how to install. You need to have Treble TWRP flashed. Then you need to first flash a treble supported rom, say for example AEX. If youre stock rom supports treble then there is no need for that. After that, you need to extract the PE zip, as you arent flashing a zip but an img, so once extracted, move to the img to your internal storage, find it in TWRP, flash it to system, and hopefully it boots
Hope this helps
Is there any patch for volte on gsi
Instructions to install ?
1.Fingerprint does not work
2.Button do not support long press
3.Everything else is fine,My device is mido

Steps to install on santoni device from normal PE build 03/26.
after testing this is consistent with treble roms on the zuk z2. at least for me, there is no audio out on the headphone jack. When i plug in headphones and play back audio, it plays from the speaker. on the phh-aosp, he recommended i copy an apk he provided to /system/overylay which did not fix it. In the meantime ill use the device specific version of this rom but i want this to help anyone else who is having this issue.
So flashing it, what do I'll have?

Thanking you for this awesome ROM.
Rocking crdroid back to f1
Awesome project, new product but has alot custom Rom
**Reserved**
Boots up.
CR droid boot animation is sick! Loved it.
Of course as title says it's in alpha "testing" so constant system UI crashes upto the point where the screen completely goes black.
One thing I liked about this build was the resolution looks good UI and stuff (got all this just by looking the pre Google setup screen) All the other ROMs I tested has bad resolution and the screen is just not satisfying but not in this rom!
Waiting for stable build. Like.
IR Camera Working?
Force close not able to run for a single minutes:crying:
Tried 2 times but not successful so I go back to lineage os
Unfortunately, the thing happened to other ROMs is also on this ROM. I can't get it to boot after flashing, never got to the setup screen.

System UI force close some times, this is a great build but is "alpha" for me, so i go to try RR, PE and AEX, Lineage is the one works fine for me.

thank you for your contribution, I nearly lost hope that 1+9R could have third-party roms before I see your Postings. And before I download I want to consult you on 2 question: 1.why did you call your rom "unofficial", and is there any difference between "official" and "unofficial". 2.my device is a Chinese version, can I flash your rom on my "color os(not oxygen os) running" 1+9R.

unofficial means this device hasn't been officially supported yet, still some bugs and may not get further update. But I think there should be official support for this device in the future, as it is similiar to OnePlus 8T, which has been officially supported. be patient

Why not flash Oxygen OS, it should include GMS and has a similar experience to Pixel
Bluetooth doesn‘t work on my phone, I don't know why, it just "turning on" for a while and shut down immediately, I have flashed my phone for twice with your tutorials, but it just the same issue.

Are we going to see a Official build of Pixel Experience in the near future? For the 9R?
Hi. After I installed it. My phone into EDL but not the system. That's what I did:
1. Unlock bootloader on OOS
2. Flash recovery that provided in the Google drive link.
3. Apply update via USB sideload.
4. When the flashing progress reach 47%.
It gave me an error:
"can't read command 'no error' " and the recovery said update is done.
(which I think it's normal becuz same thing happened on the OnePlus 9 custom ROM flashing.)
5. Format/ Factory reset and reboot
6. Reboot and into the EDL.
Since you said you test the 5G in China.
So if you're Chinese:
我在氧OS上解锁之后刷入了你提供的rec。
然后重启进入rec并且使用sideload刷这个包。
刷入到47%的时候提示输入完成。
刷入之后我回到rec主菜单选择格式化/恢复出厂设定 然后重启,
结果直接进入9008模式。
Thank you for this!

Question How can I flash miui 14 recovery rom?

Hello,
a couple days ago i noticed that there was the first miui 14 build (miui_ENUMA_V14.0.23.1.4.DEV_006a58c7f8_13.0) available. Since it's a recovery rom i'm struggling to find a way to flash it.
I saw an unoffical ofox build in this forum but the download link didn't work.
I hope someone could help me.
Thanks
The only method to flash recovery firmware is by TWRP or OFRP custom recovery. Right now there is none of these availble for enuma yet. So only fastboot firmware that is possibly flashed for now. I already flashed the latest fastboot firmware and installed A13 GSI ROM.

There are other options to possibly flash .zip patch file by using Xiaomi ADB in this link or Xiaomi Tool in this link. I tried this on my Windows 7 PC but not able to flashed any .zip files. Maybe Windows 10 or above may get this to work well. There is also Linux version for these tools. You can try it too.

May I ask where you found that build? I can only find ArrowOS for the non-pro version.

It's GSI ROM not Custom ROM for any specific device. You can google GSI ROMs and look for the ROMs that you like the most. I also flashed this ROM to my Redmi K30 5G.
But if you are using such Xiaomi peripherals as pen or pad keyboard, GSI ROMs do not support them. You need to look for the Custom ROMs that are built for your device to support them.
I don't have any Xiaomi peripherals. So using GSI ROMs makes no differences for me.
I have V14.0.22.12.26.DEV Fastboot ROM. How to install V14.0.23.1.9.DEV Recovery ROM?
"Can't verify update. This ROM is intended for internal testers. Make sure your account has the required permissions."
