Question How can I flash miui 14 recovery rom? - Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro

Hello,
a couple days ago i noticed that there was the first miui 14 build (miui_ENUMA_V14.0.23.1.4.DEV_006a58c7f8_13.0) available. Since it's a recovery rom i'm struggling to find a way to flash it.
I saw an unoffical ofox build in this forum but the download link didn't work.
I hope someone could help me.
Thanks

The only method to flash recovery firmware is by TWRP or OFRP custom recovery. Right now there is none of these availble for enuma yet. So only fastboot firmware that is possibly flashed for now. I already flashed the latest fastboot firmware and installed A13 GSI ROM.

There are other options to possibly flash .zip patch file by using Xiaomi ADB in this link or Xiaomi Tool in this link. I tried this on my Windows 7 PC but not able to flashed any .zip files. Maybe Windows 10 or above may get this to work well. There is also Linux version for these tools. You can try it too.

Hey, thanks for sharing.
May I ask where you found that build? I can only find ArrowOS for the non-pro version.

It's GSI ROM not Custom ROM for any specific device. You can google GSI ROMs and look for the ROMs that you like the most. I also flashed this ROM to my Redmi K30 5G.
But if you are using such Xiaomi peripherals as pen or pad keyboard, GSI ROMs do not support them. You need to look for the Custom ROMs that are built for your device to support them.
I don't have any Xiaomi peripherals. So using GSI ROMs makes no differences for me.

I have V14.0.22.12.26.DEV Fastboot ROM. How to install V14.0.23.1.9.DEV Recovery ROM?

That's a vendor/fake/tampered/ unofficial ROM.
You need to flash the official one.
Find the official fastboot rom here
http://en.miui.com/a-234.html
Here's how to flash: (it will user ERASE DATA so backup)

To make it clear.
The link i gave you was fastboot ROMs.
RN4 MTK (nikel):
http://update.miui.com/updates/v1/fullromdownload.php?d=nikel_global&b=F&r=global&n=
Since you're using the fake rom, its recommended to use the fastboot method through MiFlash in PC.
To replace the fake with original one.
Check the link for the procedure.

Your device is MBF so it has MediaTek chipset. You should download the following:
Redmi Note 4 MTK Latest Global Stable Version Fastboot File Download
And you must use Mi Flash to flash the zip files in that list (those are fastboot images).
If you want to flash via recovery, you must use this zip file, but as GabrielScott said just above, it's better to use Mi Flash.
Trying Redmi Note 4 MTK Latest Global Stable Version Fastboot File Download flashing by miflash tool and replying if i get restart problem or any app crashing error.. thank for your reply.
In tutorial images . its taken 1800sec for complete and my just finished flashing in 192s ..
after flash Redmi Note 4 MTK Latest Global Stable Version Fastboot File Download using mi-flash tool my device got crashed and and restarted 3-4 time only in starting setup selecting region time - and sim selection time keyboard selection time and more .

FAQs
Q. How boot on recovery?
A. With the device turned off, press power and vol- at same time until it vibrates.
Q. Does it works with stock or custom ROMs?
A. At this momment I know that it is fully compatible with stock ROMs (or stock based ROMs) but at this momment is not tested with custom ROMs, so you users have to test it and report.
Installed the TWRP 3.2.3-0 on CarbonROM 6.1 (Android 8.1). So far so good, seems alright to me.

Yeah but the question is if this recovery works for flash custom ROMs, I know that it work perfectly with stock roms, if you can test it and report here, I really apreciate.

Just tried flashing the latest Carbon and it worked for me. Haven't tested flashing stock ROMs myself though
Just tried to install the zip on my Z3 compact.
My phone has full encryption enabled (complete including the sd card).
Your build of TWRP is not able to decrypt the phone.
It always tells me "Password failed, please try again!" even though the given passsword is correct (I can start the system with the same one).
amazing
Installed on OMNI with TWRPapp, flahed Carbon and then RR.
All it was fine and, finally, no "Error 7".
Thank you for this!
I have a question, I have encrypted my device (CarbonRom cr6) and now when I try to access TWRP I draw my security pattern and I get a failed to decrypt message.
The pattern is the one I use on a daily basis to use my device so this is related to TWRP. Any suggestion?
Maybe this twrp has a problem with support encription?
Carbon ROM expects TWRP with ro.build.product or ro.product.device equal z3c (not aries) . Modified original image using this method https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...because-of-empty-system.3554252/post-85881113
For Lineage (18.1), this (3.3.1) TWRP version is recommended, but it seems to have issues preserving the survival scripts (e.g. of Magisk) over OTAs. Unfortunately, the device isn't supported on twrp.me

I guess the "Reboot EDL" feature doesn't work with Dipper, does it?
Cool.
Does it work to return full stock including original recovery? I don't want to brick my device so I better ask.

Actually the tool is able to flash a full fastboot factory image, so it will also flash the stock recovery, the problem is the arb, the tool is unable to read the arb version and if the rom can be flashed or not, so before flash it you should be sure you are flashing the right rom
For example would it work to flash Global 10.2.2 also to restore the stock recovery, or any considering that now I am rooted + twrp on custom rom? Been also on latest MIUI versions bit want to regain my stock again.

Yes the problem is not the rom but the arb, if there is not an arb problem you can flash the rom without problems

I have received no updates for my Xiaomi Mi A3 since December 5 2020.

Hi, I've got model M1906F9SH and it hasn't received updates since December 5, 2020 (it's the date of my last security update). When was the last update for the phone? What can I do to update?
Also, is my model from some weird region or is it european or polish version?
Manually download the latest ota update package. Then go to updater then click the three dots then click choose update package and select the downloaded OTA update.

I don't have 3 dots in the updater as it's not a MIUI phone. Also, I don't want to install updates manually in fear of messing sth up. Anything I can do to force the phone to download updates from official servers?

What?
No. Lmao your saying that you installed AOSP?
that has NO updates.
Unless your willing to manually build the newer versions as google releases them.
Pretty sure people have made custom AOSP roms.
Those have updates at the discretion of the developer.
