Need help rooting P9000 lite

Hi,
I have a lite version with firmware version 20160318. I tried the existing method of flashing TWRP. However the flash fails eventually. I believe this is because of the different ROM version.
Anyone know how to?
Thanks
I have same problem
Same here
This thread claims it works on both - http://bbs.elephone.hk/thread-9910-1-1.html#.VxpqyPkrLIV

Which error did you recieved? How to understand "flash fails eventually"? I guess it is your fault or may the fault of your SP flash tool version
i need root too on my p9000 lite
Why haven't you updated to 04 22 version? It's not on the OTA, but the flash zip was released on the russian 4pda forums. I have no problems with my P9000L, it's rooted and works just fine

Thanks in advance.

Hey, (first post here so G'day)
I had the same issue with my Note 3 (Snapdragon) trying to flash Global stable. I followed this guide (turns out I can't post links yet so if you Goggle " Miui Flash (Unbrick) Redmi Note 3(SD) with Locked Bootloader" you'll find it) and it worked for well for me. Obviously if you have the non-snapdragon version this won't help you so sorry if that's the case.
I have snapdragon version
What if I try to unlock my bootloader unofficially way on global developer rom by flashing modified rom of global stable 7.3.2.0, will I get into any problem?

[Guide][RAPHAELIN][NO ROOT][NO RECOVERY] Update to MIUI 11 from MIUI 10 using OTA zip

Hello Everyone,
I have K20 Pro CHINA which has unlocked bootloader and no custom recovery and it was previously flashed with Indian global rom 10.3.3.0. Although I did recieve 10.3.5.0 OTA update so OTA update is not broken on my device but i don't know why i didn't get OTA update for MIUI 11 like evryone else, maybe I had to wait because i am not using the phone in india anyway i was in a hurry so i found a way to update the phone using avalaible zip file without flashing custom recovery.
1- Download Indian MIUI 11 for K20 Pro
http://bigota.d.miui.com/V11.0.1.0.QFKINXM/miui_RAPHAELININGlobal_V11.0.1.0.QFKINXM_5e75bba584_10.0.zip
2- use this guide to enable "Choose update package option on MIUI":
https://c.mi.com/thread-2147027-1-0.html
3- then use this guide to install OTA manually from within phone itself:
https://c.mi.com/thread-2151027-1-0.html
Needless to say that this method worked for me but i am not repsonsible if anyyhing goes bad with your phone, pay attention that you must have indian firmware installed before attempt to update your phone using this method.

mi a3 Rom question- about EU rom and global

Mine is running on 10.3.13.0 PFQEUXM or Europe rom. Im trying to install custom recovery and root it later. I'm in the process of downloading the files like the fastboot rom just incase i have to go back to stock or if something goes wrong. I also prefers to use global rom since im not in the Europe region. My question is if its okay to flash Global version or will it brick the device?

I heard somebody accidentally flashed EU ROM on global version of the device when restoring the device using MiFlash.
While it did not brick the phone, the wifi Mac address get messed up. So I don't recommend you to try this.
It is better to flash the ROM that correspond to your device varient, just in case something goes bad.
Switching between EU/GLOBAL works fine, it doesn't brick anything. When I tried it I had to perform factory reset, otherwise the phone did not boot up. So far no one came with confirmed list of differences, it is being speculated that EU ROM has better privacy protection due to more strict EU laws and that headphones volume is limited to conform the EU laws. But again, there hasn't been provided a single proof for these claims and it seems that they are functionally the same, sharing the same features (and bugs). In the past months, Global version received OTA update few days in advance of EU, but the latest update arrived at the same time. Personally I don't have any problem with the EU ROM.
Thanks guys, i was able to install global rom and twrp + root without any problem. One thing i noticed is that EU is on v10.3.13 and global is 10.3.12,but both of them has the December security patch so no worries.

Stuck on Android 8! NEED HELP in selecting firmware to flash.

Recently bought a used samsung galaxy s9 plus. It is stuck on android 8. When I try to update it it says that I'm already on the latest software.
When I tried to search for firmware to flash manually I got confused because CSC is XAA which refers to unlocked version but currently installed firmware is of some carrier I guess...
Can anyone please suggest me the correct firmware which I need to flash in order to get Android 9 with one UI.
See attached screenshot for exact number firmware installed.
Flash a higher binary firmware using Odin. Make sure you use full 4 file firmware. Also remember to backup your files
