H850 Back to stock

Hello everyone !
I want to go back to stock. (For warrantly)
I try to follow this thread : https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g5/how-to/lg-5-to-stock-t3369959
But most links don't work. (What version of LG UP should I use?)
I have a bigger problem, I cant download any KDZ file !!!
This link is not working : http://csmgdl.lgmobile.com/dn/downl...27IATRF9CA9OFE/H85010c_00_OPEN_EU_OP_0415.kdz
Can you help me please?
Thanks a lot for your help
I would also like to ask if it's possible to go back to stock without USB connection, because my port is kinda broken and I want to bring it to warranty clean.
Do you want to go back stock, relocking your bootloader ?
Because there is an easy way to go back stock.
1. You have to put your phone on USB debugging (if it not already done)
2. Reboot in bootloader, if you have minimal adb and fastboot tools, it will be easy : (you can find it there : https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317790)
2a. shift + right click on the adb and fastboot directory (where *.exe are), click on "Open Command Window Here"
2b. Once the cmd prompt is opened, "adb.exe reboot bootloader"
3. When the phone is in bootloader, on your cmd prompt, type : fastbootexe oem lock
It will relock your bootloader and wipe everything so before that, do a LG Backup on you PC or SD Card).
4. fastboot.exe reboot
5. Enable developer mode (pressing 7 times build version in about phone), go in developper options then disable OEM unlock
That's what I've done to get back my G5 full stock (you can thank me and bornheim2 in the post in this thread : https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g5/how-to/lock-bootloader-h850-t3505922
Thanks a lot for your answer.
I have installed the FLUENCE HD rom, and a revovery.
It will undo everything?
Thanks you.
Nope, you should do this on a stock ROM.
Did you tried to install a KDZ file in upgrade mode ? (not refurbish).
Actually I can't download the KDZ file, the link I posted above is not working.
Thanks for your answer.
You can download it from here :

Hi,Fastboot oem lock works on both the kdz you linked?
And do you know if I can flash this kdz on a Vodafone branded H850?
Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk
Tanks for your answer.
What rom should I use?
Other question : What do '10i' stands for?
Thanks.

Thanks a lot for your help, it went well.
Exept i had troubles with LG UP, I had to replace a DLL file. Then I had to manually install google ADB drivers.
I'll post exactly what I did later today.

I relock my bootloader after Nougat update but I suppose you can relock on both.
When you flash a KDZ file, it will flash the system.img so it will erase your Vodafone version I guess. The difference between update and refurbish is that update do not erase your data but you can perform an update then a reset factory and wipe your data from setup menu in MM or Nougat. (if someone can tell me if I'm wrong or not )

10i is is last MM version, it is just the build version, the other is Nougat. You can install the version you prefer

I couldn't refurbish with the KDZ you gave me. Apparently they are not compatible with refurbish mode.

Huawei Mate 10 Lite - FRP Locked after flashing OpenKirin's Resurrection Remix

Hi, I've posted here before but now I made sure I did my research
I recently flashed Resurrection Remix from OpenKirin's website. Link: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ma...pment/roms-openkirin-aosp-collection-t3828794
After this my FRP is locked, my Bootloader is unlocked.
- I can't flash anything through Fastboot (system/recovery/kernel). And I also cannot install a custom recovery to flash other files.
- In Developer Options the OEM Unlocking is greyed out. So I can't change anything
- If I try to Factory Reset in the options of the Settings menu, nothing happens.
- Trying to unlock the FRP through fastboot: fastboot oem frp-unlock doesn't work because I don't know the password it's asking.
I'm considering to get DC-Unlocker but I'm not sure if that's gonna help me any further.
Thank you for reading.
Did you delete the Google account manually?

This happened to me and I was saved by a Dev on Mate 10 Lite thread named @KingOfMezi. This happens when you enable Developer Options and then select restore defaults.
Download zip file from link below and flash it in TWRP but remember I was on custom emui 8.0 oreo rom not on resurrection rom. Still chances are heavy that it will work

Yeah I would've tried this already if I were actually able to flash anything. I only have the stock recovery and no TWRP available.
I also can't flash a new recovery so it's a dead for me in both ways.
Small update - I have tried unlocking it with DC Unlocker but even though I paid for it, the program couldn't get rid of the FRP lock on the phone.
I'm considering to just call it a dead device at this point.
Edit - 8 April 2019
I've managed to relock the bootloader after some more fiddling around.
However I'm now stuck; the phone only boots into eRecovery.
I can do two things now, aside from (re)booting, clearing cache and wiping data:
* Try to download firmware through WiFi, which fails after a short time with the message "Getting package info failed"
* Try to use the 'dload' method. At 5% it stops and says "Software install failed!". I already formatted the SD card to NTFS and the only file that's on the card is the UPDATE.APP that I got through FirmwareFinder. That file is inside the 'dload' folder, yes.
Any ideas?
Bump.

You need actual dload firmware for dload, from androidhost.ru.
Regular firmware from FF is online only, hence it needs to auth to install. Offline firmware, which is used for dload, does not need to auth to install.
You could also try eRecovery install method using FF, you would need to set up a dns in your router though.
But dload should work fine.
Also, I too had OEM Unlock greyed out before. For me it was enough to connect to wifi and then Restore Default in developer options, this made it available again.

Oh well, I relocked my bootloader and sent the phone to the retailer.
They replaced the motherboard (I think?) as it said "defective components replaced".
All good now, but my inner flashoholic can't just sit still

Is there a way to root a Snapdragon S9+ (G9650)?

I've already tried using CROM Service but it always crashes. Also tried with fastboot but it doesn't work. I already have USB Debugging enabled and OEM Unlock. The phone is unlocked btw, no carrier restrictions.

Need help finding the right firmware for my p20 lite

Hi
I recently bought a p20 lite from Facebook and i think the previous owner must have flashed the wrong firmware. In developer options there is no oem unlock button, and i tried eRecovery and it didn't work. The phone is dual sim, some apps see as if the phone is rooted and when i check with root checker, there's no root. I'm from South Africa and i hope i provided the necessary information. I would like to downgrade the phone to the firmware I'll be able to get the bootloader code from.

Hi, just to be sure -
A) enter Project Menu (*#*#2846579#*#*) > 'Network info ... ' > 'Vendor country info'
B) In fastboot mode run command
fastboot oem oemimforead-CUSTOM_VERSION
and post the results.
Edit.: what was the reason for the failure with erecovery?

Okay, try this way out:
1. Download Oreo Service ROM
2. Unpack it and copy dload folder (can be found in 'Software') to the SD Card (without unpacking it!)
3. Turn of your phone and use three button combo (dload method) .
The process will erase all your data!

Question Bootloop.

Hi everyone.
I have rooted my device with magisk. Before unlocking bootloader and flashing Magisk, i disabled any security option, as suggested in this group.
But when i now set a pin code or set a pattern, in the security options, my device will start to bootloop. It will bootloop about 4-5 times, and then im able to enter the phone, and change the security options to none, or "draw". Anyone have a solution, so im able to use some sort of security on my rooted phone.
Thanks..
Rasmus.
