Vf Smart Ultra 6 Root
Hi,
Can anyone help me root my smart ultra 6?
ive tried kingroot etc with no support from any of them.

thanks[/QUOTE]
I too have had considerable difficulty Rooting my Vf Smart Ultra 6.
I cannot use a computer to do it as my computer is running on Linux Mint which I adore except for the fact that it doesn't cover all bases and no-one has yet written a Smart Phone Utilities Software for this platform.
Having said that however I shall try to describe my success with this phone.
I have managed to root this phone successfully using Kingroot on 3 different occasions here's how.
Assuming you have had enough instruction to enable developer options (settings/About/press 'Build Number' seven times) and usb debugging (usb debugging doesn't really help me because I can't use my comp for reasons described above), but I enabled that functionality anyway.
Kingroot failed me at least 18 times before cracking it, so just keep trying. I read somewhere that if Kingroot locks you out altogether without giving you the option to retry, do this: uninstall Kingroot, reboot, reinstall. The first time I did this (after multiple fails) I hooked into root immediately. Be careful to not reboot out of this until you have finished the tasks at hand, as this will unRoot you.
Through persistence with the difficult bootloader on this phone and Kingroot, you will get there.
Hope this helps

Rooting an HP Pro Slate 8 - can it be done?

First thing - this is not the Slate Pro 8! I can't find any useful information on if it's possible to root the Pro Slate 8 or how to do it. I have seen a couple of mentions of attempting with 'King Root' and 'Kinger Root', but I've also seen discussion about the uncertainty of their safety and security - and I haven't seen any confirmation that either app will work on the device. Are there any relatively safe and viable methods to attempting an 'unspecific' root on a device like mine?
The device is currently running 5.1.1.

Can I unlock bootloader of SM-G9910 (Snapdragon) just like any Exynos Version.

-Want to buy snapdragon s21, rooting is must for titanium backup to freeze/unfreeze some apps.
-Repute of Exynos is not good (Officially Available in Pakistan).
- Which Version of Snapdragon S21 is best to unlock Bootloader, in my 2 hours of searching I feel SM-G9910 Which is Chinese or HK options is easier option?
- Will it unlock Bootloader just like Exynos from just developer options without PC?
- Is SM-G9910 the best and only option in Snapdragon and rooting?
(Information is little bit complexed here. using iPhone XS > iPhone 11 Pro from 2 years now. Want to try android now, rooting was easier back in the days when I use to have OnePlus, 2, 3, 3t, 5, 6t, could root it in sleep even.

Did you ever figure this out? I'm seeing mixed results when searching, can anyone confirm if the SM-S9110 Snapdragon has an unlockable bootloader, or if paid service is needed

OnePlus Firmware on OnePlus Nord N10 MetroPCS phone

From doing some searching it looks like other OnePlus phones can run the stock firmware on cell provided phones. Can I run the OnePlus version of Oxygen OS on my metro OnePlus Nord N10 or do I have to always wait on the slow carrier updates to be rolled out? This is my primary phone so I don't want to brick it by trying to do it. Was just wondering if anyone else had tried it and what their experience was?

I doubt it: Porting ROMs is not an easy process, it could mess with your hardware: Wi-Fi/BT/Camera/Data not working.
But I actually wanted to read some more opinions on this.
Now about bricking your phone: After you unlock the bootloader, you can always flash back the original ROM (I think it's available on the OP website). OP's default bootloader should do the trick but for extra precautions, you can always try flashing TWRP.
I've been seeing the MSMDownloadTool for flashing stock images to the phone with MetroPCS by T-Mobile and T-Mobile build numbers and people saying that the OnePlus is almost impossible to brick and not be able to fix it. I saw where someone said it can be flashed in the EDL mode and bypasses the greyed out Enable OEM Unlocking too.
Won't work. Modern OnePlus devices are locked by model number and device build.
Honestly, you won't even get the transfer started before it quits on you.

Blackview BV9900 Pro Root?

This has got to be one of the most difficult phones I have ever had to find definitive answers to rooting. I have rooted a few phones in the past. Even the almost impossible LG-G4 Canadian version. TWRP and Magisk have been instrumental, but for this phone, I am finding bits and pieces, most dealing with the non-pro Android 9 version of the phone. If there is anyone that can give me a rundown of accomplishing this on Android 10, I would be very appreciative. My current firmware is (BV9900Pro_S900AA_V1.0_20201116V03_20201116-1727) Non-EU version.
I have checked TWRP and the Blackview is not even listed, magisk shows (Ramdisk - YES, A/B - NO, SAR - YES)
I have the same issue. I have been looking to root my BV9900 pro as well and all I can find are root instructions for BV9900 Pro running on Android 9. Mine also comes with Android 10, Hong Kong version BV9900Pro_EEA_S900AA_V1.0_20201105V07
