Can't downgrade from specific carrier update on Galaxy S6 Edge. Model SM-G925W8

I am looking to downgrade from firmware version G925W8VLU2AOG2 to G925W8VLU1AOCG. I have downloaded the firmware, and have loaded it up in ODIN through the AP slot, but when I attempt to complete the process I get the following error: imgur dot com slash vgCerPv
The ODIN screen on my phone says SW REV. CHECK FAIL. DEVICE: 2, BINARY: 1
I am trying to downgrade so I can root my phone (ping pong doesn't work with current firmware, and eventually flash a rom and run xposed (now that it works for the S6).
I'm running ODIN 3.10.7
you are locked my friend. bootloaders are locked. nobody cant downgrade.

Custom binary blocked by FRP Lock (Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro)

Hello
I have a Samsung J7 on which I successfully ran a custom ROM (LineageOS).
Today I was playing around in Developer Settings and foolishly disabled OEM Unlocking. I had no idea what that would cause. After the next reboot my phone is now stuck in the dreaded FRP lock state. Of course, I now can’t get into recovery mode.
Having read up on this, my understanding is that flashing the phone with a stock firmware should get me up and running again.
So I found what I think is the correct firmware from updato.com
I’m running on a Linux environment and used heimdall to flash my device last time, when I installed my custom ROM. The command I used then was
Code:
sudo heimdall flash --RECOVERY twrp-xxx.img --no-reboot
However, what I downloaded from updato.com is a zip containing five files:
Code:
AP_J730FXWU1AQF6_CL11460356_QB13916694_REV00_user_low_ship_meta.tar.md5
BL_J730FXWU1AQF6_CL11460356_QB13916694_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5
CP_J730FXXU1AQF1_CP6623266_CL11460356_QB13769558_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5
CSC_OJK_J730FOJK1AQG1_CL11901644_QB14314170_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5
HOME_CSC_OJK_J730FOJK1AQG1_CL11901644_QB14314170_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5
I have no idea what to do next. Should I flash one of them or several/all of them? And which partition should I specify to flash into? Is it still RECOVERY or should it be another one? I don’t want to hard brick my device, so need you help please.
Device: Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro (SM-J730F)
Error message: Custom binary blocked by FRP Lock.

[GUIDE] FIX N950F efs failed to mount and dm-verify fail (unbrick)

The following is a guide for repairing failed to mount efs and dm-verify fail (drk error)
We finally did it ~~~
Warning - We will not take any responsibility for your device. Follow the steps at your own risk. If your device is Knox 0, This guide would convert it into Knox 1 due to TWRP. For solutions that does not convert to knox 1 check out payed remote solutions. Everything on your device will be reset, including efs partition. You will need backup of efs.
Test on N950F binary 4 may work on other exynos models comment below if it worked for other samsung devices.
Problem Detail -
Bootloop with samsung stock firmware boot logo.
Recovery error E:Failed to mount /efs (Invalid argument) or dm-verity verification failed...
Device cannot boot into Factory binary or Stock Rom
Actions that could cause this problem -
Flashing a non-signed efs.img by odin
Corrupt flash of efs partition.
Note - Must have efs backup for device to work (very important)
Any error that cause bootloop would show in recovery required if
Files Required
Latest Odin (recommend 3.13)
Working Stock firmware and Combination file (same binary as bootloader)
PC
Winrar or 7zip etc
Solution for efs failed bootloop-
Extract Stock firmware AP file (rename .md5 to .tar)
Rename dqmdbg.img to efs.img (or smallest image must be smaller than 8000 KB). Extract Dqmdbg.img.lz4 so it’s just “Dqmdbg.img” and then rename it to efs.img and put that one in a tar. Other option is downloading a file that’s already made this way if your bootloader is binary 4, Saves you trouble of extracting / renaming: http://www.mediafire.com/file/589wucja9rk2v8f/efs.tar/file (if you download this file just move onto number 3)
Add file new efs.img into tar archive.
Flash tar as AP file in odin + download mode
Reboot download mode
Flash Combination with odin + nand erase option on Edit: suggest you to flash stock rom first and oem unlock, don't need to wait for 7 days if imei is 0000 skip combination step
Device Should boot into Factory binary
Use IME to restore imei using *#06# (or imei 0000 in stock rom) Edit: This step is not required if efs backup is restored successful
Your device should have dm-verify failed in recovery due to drk error
Continue drk bypass for dm verify error below to continue
Solution for dm-verify error (also known as drk bypass - but temporary read note)-
Extract Stock firmware AP file
Make a copy of boot.img and delete recovery.img
Note - if files is boot.img.lz4 format change name to recovery.img.lz4
Rename boot.img copy to recovery.img
Add all the files (including other files extracted) to tar.
Flash Modded AP file with BL, CP, CSC (nand erase not required)
The phone will boot into stock firmware
Note- cannot reboot, will stuck at dm-verify error again and need to flash modded AP again.
Wait 7 days to oem unlock phone or use 7 day bypass by changing dates (not always work, keep trying, don’t reboot, worked for Samsunguser932 Edit: Imei must be 0000)
Edit: oem unlock will fix drk - if not you must follow next step
Once oem unlock flash TWRP and restore efs backup Edit: if you haven't fixed imei fix now by *#06# with combination file
Flash stock firmware once again by odin (stock, not modded)
Done - phone is back to normal
If you cannot be bothered doing by yourself you can pay https://www.facebook.com/gsm.xraxxx/ to do this.

update: to skip 7 day oem unlock imei must be 0000
The best method for bypassing oem unlock for 7 days.
Requirements - clean phone with stock firmware, samsung account logged in, imei 0000
Go to setting and check for manual update. This will fail/stuck and oem unlock would appear in development settings

You do not need an efs.img to repair efs failed to mount. It is only required for the functionality of the phone (sim). This guide would work without an efs.img, it is recommended to install a custom rom after the guide. Even though this guide can allow you phone to work, but due to drk/dm-verify errors, it is currently impossible to restore the phone to the original state.
Note - you'll need to find someone that is kind enough to share a copy/backup of their efs.img g955F. Most people think it is illegal to share as the efs.img contain imei, but with cpid devices, the imei would be overridden by your current device. Most importantly you need to change the serial number in the SVC (or else you will have the same serial number as the person sharing.
plz my problem is oem lock on, frp on and drk error. i have combination file and stock can your guide work for me?

This would only work if you're still on binary 3. Follow the steps for DM verity fix with 7.1.1 firmware. Flash stock 7.1.1 with replaced boot.img using Odin and fix frp using adb (guides online to enable adb). Wait for 7 day OEM unlock (no method to skip do not restart). Flash twrp and use twrp to flash custom ROM or DM verify fix.
Note - this method would fix function ability of the phone only if efs is not corrupted. (If you had paid someone to fix efs, this would not work). Finally the phone will become Knox 1 and normal update functions might not work. Practically makes the phone unable to resell as a working phone.
Hello. My efs partition was erased by a z3x box. Or an octopus, I do not know. I followed your instructions. The IME combination is empty. I install a modified firmware, it works but I can not enter the Samsung account (crashing), I can not check the system updates (infinite device registration). Should I wait 7 days before the OEM unlock? Will it work?
@Alarg read post 2 to skip 7 days. Infinite device registration should make OEM unlock show with samsung account logged in. OEM unlock must be first done before installing modified firmware (suggest kernel). You must have backup of efs, a backup from another phone will not work.

I can't log in Samsung account (processing failure). Imei unknown, s/n 0000000000 This method does not work for me.
@Alarg Which firmware ver are you using?
Have you tried nand flash combination file and then flash firmware (before boot, hold download mode buttons so the phone won't boot to factory mode). I do not see a reason why Samsung account would not work, try another ver maybe the version you downloaded is corrupted.

Note -
dm verify cannot be completely fixed, it can only be bypassed (in the system by flashing no dm verify).
You will need to wait for 7 days for oem unlock (there is no method to skip oem unlock)
Warranty will be voided (KNOX 1) - don't think there is a method to avoid tripping knox.
Suggest installing a custom rom after oem unlock (many reports that no dm verify on latest oreo does not work without root)

EFS partition is not touched when flashing roms (they actually do but in a safe way), only retards like I would try to mod efs partition.
Hi guys, will it work in my case? https://ibb.co/mJRcHK
Device is SM-N950N FRP ON and OEM ON.
What kind of solution should I follow?
@Anvar2005 - This looks like a drk verify error. Which binary are you on? frp bypass only works with binary 3. You will not find anything for frp unlock on this forum. Same steps for drk verify but use nougat.

Bootlooping SM-T825, giving up hope!

Hi Guys,
samsung/gts311texx/gts3llte
8.0.0/R16NW/T825XXU2BRL2
really struggling with my TabS3 which is about 1.5years old. Had sent it to Samsung for repair but they sent it back without repairing the problem.
was fine until a few weeks ago the battery had died within a few hours of charging. I charged again and noticed it was just bootlooping but was occasionally giving a blue screen error saying no command then in recovery was showing failed to verify diverity hash tree
It hasnt been possible to get into android to enable OEM unlock due to bootlooping issues
was running stock firmware and not rooted
I tried to reinstall stock firmware from samfirmware via Odin but was just giving an error when flashing AP
now when booting its giving " an error has ocurred while updating the device software. use the emergency recovery function in the smart switch pc software"
in recovery giving error dm-verity verification failed... E:failed to mount system (invalid argument)
any ideas? £20 reward if helps get it sorted!

Just a couple of thoughts. Do you know what error you were getting in Odin? Are you using the latest version of odin, 3.13, and try downloading the stock firmware from updato.
Sent from my [device_name] using XDA-Developers Legacy app
using odin 3.13, when trying to flash its showing no errors in odin just FAIL! (Auth) and tablet screen showing secure check fail: aboot [1]eMMC write fail: aboot
Internal memory issue maybe? tried a version from updato, similar story

Are you flahing the same firmware version that's on your device, BLR2? aboot is the bootloader and it looks like it's failing trying to write that. If your flashing an earlier version of firmware you'll get that error. But it could also be caused if eMMC is bad. When you sent it to Samsung did they do anything to it, or tell you anything that might be wrong? When you boot into the bootloader what does it say about FRP lock?
Edit, also, if you're not, run Odin as administrator.
Sent from my [device_name] using XDA-Developers Legacy app
FRP lock: On
I'm not completely sure which firmware was on the device, was assuming BLR2. Done a successful flash in Odin (using BLR2) but still only boots to recovery giving error -
#fail to open recovery_cause (no such file or directory)#
No support SINGLE-SKU
File-Based OTA
Supported API: 3
dm-verity verification failed
Samsung only told me its a non EU device but couldnt tell where it originated from and that they can't help as components are different from EU devices
any ideas?

Ok, so you don't know what country the device came from? And I assume you're in the EU? There's a few things to try. Have you tried Samsung's smart switch program, Google it. I haven't had luck with their software but maybe it'll work. And might identify your device.
Also, try flashing just the bootloader with Odin. I assume you're trying to flash just the AP binary. Try flashing just the bootloader. Choose BL in Odin and the BL file from the stock firmware. Don't flash anything else. See if that will flash and then boot.
I believe the device was from China but seems to have been running UK software as thats the only firmware that will load without a dev_error
Smart switch didnt identify it as a device which could be repaired
tried flashing bootloader only, same issue of bootlooping or automatically booting to recovery.
I have flashed to older android version T825XXU2BRJ1 but exactly the same issue of bootlooping/recovery
Even im facing same problem without any solution.
I'm so sorry that this happened. I would've tried to help you IF ONLY MY TAB WASN'T HARD BRICKED

Error when flashing two official ROMs - Error Validating Footer, help ?

I tried to re-flash my A50s with its original stock rom (from this website). I have tried these 2 roms :
A507FNXXU5DUG4 (Android 11)
A507FNXXU5CUB1 (Android 10)
Both failed to be flashed properly and sent me back to Download Mode with this error :
Code:
ODIN MODE (AVB Fail)
system : Error validating footer
Samsung System (installed rom series), (random number I don't understand)
VBMETA (installed rom series), (random number same as above)
As far as I understand, vbmeta failure is caused because Samsung fail to validate security on the rom. But my roms, both are original roms. If this information helps, I don't have TWRP installed because I was trying to go back to the unroot version. If even original stock roms fail, then I don't know where to go anymore from here. It's been hours and I'm frustrated. Any suggestion ?
