Question Dual eSIM on Pixel 6? - Google Pixel 6

Hi, is it possible to use two eSIMs at the same time on a Pixel 6?
I couldn't find an answer in the specs or this forum.
Thanks!

At the same time no. The esim module inside the phone is one. You can have multiple esim profiles saved but only one if it can be active.

Dual Sim? help my future children!

I have two phones (one work, one persoanl), two networks, and probably two sterile testicles from having them both in my pockets.
I have to get rid of my razr and just use my TYTN for both.
I've seen products like in the links below but they look sketchy and was hoping someone can shed some light on this for me... here are the links:

In the perfect world i would get my internet services from one of the numbers (work pays), have both numbers ring and receive text messages and be able to choose which number is displayed. Am i smoking too much? is this possible? Thanks in advance for any help.
I tried asking for the same thing a few months back.
Let just say that I can't seem to find any solution and this does not seem possible at all right now.
What you can best hope to achieve is that you can have 2 sims in the phone and soft switch them as far as my understanding goes.
I was really hoping for one of those DUAL SIM DUAL PHONE China Brand X phone which truly functions as a phone with 2 sims.
hi, im using dual sim holder plus today sim switcher application. it allows to have two sims in your tytn and switch them from today screen. only one sim can be active at a time but by setting your redarections up you will never miss a call seriously very usefull thing just lost 4 sims triming my sims

Dual SIM Rom Difference, Virtual GPRS module

Hello XDA,
As the title states, I would like to know the difference between single SIM roms and dual SIM roms. Searching around didn't give me any real answers.
To further specify, I would like to know as to how much of the OS has to be modified in order to bring it from single SIM to dual SIM state in full detail, preferably until file names. As to why, I would like to create a virtual GPRS/3G module and for that I need to modify RIL but I would like retain OS's native RIL, so instead I was thinking of taking a single SIM rom and just add dual SIM capability on to it. Obviously to do it right I will be taking dual SIM rom from somewhere for comparison. The difficulty of this task would be that since the module is not on the same chip as most phones have them on, its virtual, there probably will be difference.
And do you guys think this is possible?

S9+ 965F with dual sim like 965FZ

Hey guys.
Quick question, can a 965F model of the S9+ be turned into a dual sim by changing the SIM tray to a 965FZ?
My question here is if the sim tray is the only hardware difference, or if the 965FZ is specifically built with hardware differences to be able to read 2 SIM cards as opposed to 1 Sim/1 SD
This said I would also like to know if there are software differences and what would I need to flash in order for
It to work, in case it’s only a tray difference.

S21 HK eSim possibility

Hi there,
I've recently got the SM-G9910 HK version (TGY) and was wondering if there's any way to get eSim support? I'll be using this phone mainly in AT, however eSIM would be really nice.
Reading through various threads here I've learned that it might not be likely, unless changing the CSC which might imply certain "challenges" after it.
Any feedback / direction would be highly appreciated.
Anyway if this is the only "drawback" I might live with as the 888 SoC is more important to me than the current eSim support.
Thanks!
Just read a article on this, these phone already have it but not supported buy carriers yet. T-mobile might be the first to implement it though

Hi,
Yes, I've read the same, so far the Note 20 has been getting now the esim support with the latest update on t-mobile US => so there might be hope (definitely not a hardware issue).
However, according to Samsung HK live chat it's a hardware issue and thus not supported.
Let's see what future will bring this year.
It's somehow a disappointment to have this better SOC and no esim still
my s21 ultra is thru verizon. although we cant see the second imei number. they can see it. just call them ask for the second imei number registered with your phone. and then you can setup esim with another carrier. thats what i did. i have verizon as my main carrier and tmobile as the second on the esim.
@[email protected]: sounds like a great hack - would be interesting to see if others can confirm this outside of US?
I have Dual SIM on the 9910 - can imagine the second IMEI (which I can see) is just physical ? for an eSIM it would mean that either the device can bridge the IMEI for eSim or a 3rd IMEI would be required (which i doubt).
If you want I can Show you how to create a shortcut to enable mutilply sim. Sim1 and sim2. On the us s21 ultra version
actually, as I do have a HK version, with dual-SIM already enabled I would be rather interested in eSIM if there would be any way.
does your approach require root access?
Hi guys,
I also have a G9910 and I'd love to enable eSIM.
Have you had any luck so far?
Thanks,
Alex
Hi Alex - no luck so far - let's see if they'll ever do anything about this.

I tried at least two. Providers do not know what the problem is. It looks like the problem is in the smartphone, because another one phone works without problems

No idea how to troubleshoot this, maybe try posting this on the pixel forum.
Stupid question, but we talk about 2 different eSIM? Or do you try to activate the same eSIM on 2 Pixels?
Cheers

No, I'm not so stupid I have two eSIM and first I tried to activate on first pixel, where they does not work and next I activated it on second pixel, where everything is fine
In fact, I have already tried a bunch of eSIMs, they all don't work on my pixel and perfectly work on my wife pixel
Maybe you have reached the limit of eSIM cards, even they were not activated. Otehrwise try to reset the network settings, maybe it helps.
Cheers

Two eSims? What do you mean? Different, same, what provider do you have for each code they send you? What exactly are you doing and why?

I just want to use eSIM on my Pixel 6
For example, I got eSIM QR code:
I try to use it on my pixel - have an error like on the screenshot above
I try to use it in my wife's pixel - working
I tried resetting network settings/wipe all data - nothing helped
