How To Guide FIX - "Can't create work profile because policy prevents custom OS" - Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite

Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite was distributed by our state government for promoting technology in the state. (JUST ELECTION THINGS)
Anyways, the Tabs are coming with Samsung Knox security which cannot be uninstalled, disabled, debloated with adb. The Tabs also come with restrictions by software to change wallpaper of lockscreen / homescreen and probably many other restrictions. (tracking and other stuffs) ALTHOUGH I MANAGED TO REMOVE THE WALLPAPER RESTRICTION (Screenshot attached) The Tab also comes with a work profile already by Govt.
The problem is that if you try to unlock the bootloader you can't boot by to the system because of the policies enrolled with the each device specifically. As of now i couldn't find any TWRP or any Custom ROM to flash and fix those things or ROOT or at least try to. Please hit me up if any development comes for the same.
[ THIS IS A TUTORIAL TO BRING BACK THE TAB TO YOUR OLD STATE ]
Now on to the steps to fix :
STEPS :
1. Lock bootloader by going to download mode (turn off the device, press both vol keys and connect USB untill the blue screen (download mode) pops up), then follow the menu.
2. Flash stock Firmware. After booting setup as usual and that's it. You should be back to your original state.
3. Force reboot to stock recovery and format data/erase data after flashing stock firware. (this setp is IMP if the step 1&2 didn't work alone)

My bootloader is probably locked coz the download mode does say OEM lock on
However even after flashing it with the stock firmwares I tried AUI3 and AUJ1 for the Indian region still can't seem to get past that issue

-_-

If your bootloader is locked (Be sure) then perform a factory reset once, via stock recovery. That should solve your issue.

buddy sorry to be a bearer of bad news but your warranty is void (CHECK WARRANTY VOID 0X01), knox is preventing you from booting up. It can't be fixed by installing stock firmware. Either go to service centre (they might not accept the device due to its warranty status but if there is a way then they might take cash to fix it)
else wait for some other firmware and twrp. that's the only way

It show warranty void etc in mine too after i unlocked bootloader probably because it's samsung's policy unlike other brands like OnePlus. After flashing stock fw and a factory reset via stock recovery you can boot back to previous state. Factory reset is important because because just locking the bootloader isn't completing wiping out system and when you boot back you can see previous WiFi already connected. That's why factory reset via recovery is important.

Yes my issue began right after unlocking which was easily reversed once I locked the loader.
In your case you flashed a custom rom which caused the Knox to trip and thus causing further issue.

[Q] [HELP] What am I getting wrong here - can't seem to flash my Neo

Shameless crosspost from the tutorial-thread for installing Cyanogenmod on the Neo over at the Cyanogenmod forums.
Hi! I'm quite new to rooting and flashing my device (started reading and doing it yesterday), but I really want to make it work now, but I can't seem to get it working.
I have no problems rooting my phone or installing ClockWorkMod, but I can't seem to get it to run neither a custom kernel nor a custom ROM.
I have a SE Xperia Neo, and have both followed the mentioned tutorial, and tried other methods (some pulled straight out of my ass) to flash my device, but no matter what I do, ecxept flashing to a stock ROM of Android (I think that's what it is called?), it always freeze on the Sony Ericsson logo, right after the FreeXperia logo, and I have to do a hard shutdown (pop out the battery and replace it again) to get it to do something else. However, when frozen, both Flashtool and SuperOneClick is able to root the system at this point, so it isn't frozen, but it never goes on doing something, either. I guess it's just trying to boot a (incompatible) ROM.
My bootloader is unlocked (I just checked).
I've tried following the mentioned tutorial with both a phone flashed with 4.0.2.A.0.42 and 4.0.1.A.0.283 (read somewhere those were the best supported or best to use for this?). I've tried flashing the boot.img from the Cyanogen-zipfile to the phone (went well) on both; I've tried repeatedly pressing the volume down key both on boot and on the FreeXperia screen; I've tried to flash boot.img to the phone, rooting i, using both SuperOneClick and Flashtool then installing the ClockWorkMod (as I couldn't get to the recovery screen). And, I've followed the tutorial between two and three times with both 4.0.2.A.0.42 and 4.0.1.A.0.283. I have no idea what to try next.
Does anybody here have a clue for me? Should I try flashing with another Android version running on my phone (if so: which)?

No, it doesn't say that

Anw, since you see free xperia logo that means you flashed kernel(or at least boot with that kernel) with success.
Q1: You say you pressed volume-, have you tried with pressing back repeatedly? or by taping on screen? or repeatedly pressing power button?
Q2: show me instruction which you used to flash kernel?
Q3: you said you installed CWM trough flashtool, does that mean you manage to enter CWM eventually or not?
Q4: show the link of what you are trying to install.

I did not install CWM through Flashtool. However, when not following the tutorial I mentioned, I installed CWM Recovery using a modded installer. IIRC it was modded by DoomLord, but I can't find the link for it. When using a stock ROM, I boot into CWM Recovery with ease by repeatedly pressing the volume down key.

And, by the way, Madfysh, thank you for caring enough to taking your time to try and bend your mind to understand my problems. If I knew your reddit username, I'd stalk you and upvote everything.
Only things I can think of is:
1) make 100% sure you are writing fastboot flash boot boot.img and not fastboot boot boot.img
Sometimes people write wrongly without noticing, and after few posts they realize they wrote wrong instructions.
2) try repeatedly pressing other keys, each time your phone starts with that kernel, try pressing one key.
3) try FREEXPERIA RELEASE INSTALLATION from same link.
I will try everything you've suggested, Madfysh, and report back after trying.

As the download link was not working/outdated, I tried another kernel/ROM-combo, that worked. Now I'll try and see if I can find a ROM that I really like and use that instead of Cyanogenmod, as it looks like it don't play well with my phone at this point. Thank you for taking your time to try to help me, Madfysh. You're the best!

If you can't get the phone to do ANYTHING. Not even odin or recovery modes. What other options would you expect there to be?
You can try to get it to do whatever it does when you press the power button while attached to your computer to see if you can get ADB to recognize the device. If so you could potentially force it to go into recovery.
I understand that but I still don't see why flahsing a wrong rom completely disabled the phone

Lol even if you don't understand, your phone still isn't going to work. If you can't get into Download Mode or Recovery, You can send it to get Jtag repaired at a number of places. This is signifcantly cheaper and they can unbrick your phone.

Urgent help needed: Sm-g360az bricked

Hello....i rooted my sm-g360az samsung phone and when i restarted the phone, it didn't boot up to the home screen. It shows the samsung logo and then becomes blank....i later on came to know on the internet that i hadnt enabled 'oem unlock' on 'developer options' before rooting. I sent the phone to samsung for repair and they sent it back to me today saying that the phone is beyond repair because it was rooted, though i hadnt mentioned to them that i had rooted the phone. How do i get my phone to work again? I need it very badly for work purposes. Can somebody help me with this....

With odin untick autorebot
When its flashed directly open youre battery
And turn on but dont let your device boot up then again turn on with vol up + power + home which take you to recovery then wipe data and reset factory

If you're wondering - I reflashed the existing AQF1 HOME file from sammobile to unroot, buuut then discovered the HOME file had everything but the BL. So I figure theres a remnant change left in mine thats flagging Googles API.( Lucky I didnt attempt changing versions or i'd be bricked and ticked.)

Solution to j327P (Sprint Variant) FRP bootloop

If you Have accidentally disabled Developer options and your phone was rooted, you probably went into a bootloop, and you think the only solution is a full odin restore, bu thats not true, there is an odin flashable package that allows you to bypass the FRP custom image block message and lets you boot into the os, from there enable oem unlocking, and reroot your device with supersu. I will attach the odin flashable below for those who need it.

Simply turning off usb debugging will not throw your phone into a boot loop normally unless ou had some bad hardware or custom settings.. Only time ive seen that happen is by using data from other models. Easy way to get past it is to just take out your battery for a bit, replace it then boot into upload mode. Next youll have to try various combos releasing the buttons and presing again quickly to get back to the download mode. Alternatively boot into TWRP/STock recovery, use AT+ Commands or use a application that will boot back.
Awesome you found a little trick to simplify it ! Keep it up!
EDIT: Ohh i see.. you are on a custom rom / binary? I still have yet to have this happen but to a J700 with SynexOS on it.. Ill give this a try.
