Question Nokia X20 stuck in fastboot mode after ota update - Nokia X10 / X20

Hello,
A couple of days after buying the Nokia X20 it asked for an OTA update so I did it but it failed somehow and it booted into fastboot mode.
I tried through fastboot platform tools administrator:
- Flashing stock rom
result: "remote: did not have permission to flash"
-"flashing get_unlock_ability"
result: 1
-unlocking bootloader using "fastboot flashing unlock"
result: "FAILED (remote: 'unknown command')
fastboot: error: Command failed"
-wiping it using "fastboot erase data"
result: "
Erasing 'data' FAILED (remote: 'did not have permission to erase')
fastboot: error: Command failed"
PS: my only options are "Start", "Restart bootloader", "Power off". No recovery mode plus I can't take it to Nokia Care
I have no clue what to do next. If anyone could help it would be much appreciated

Your phone is fully bricked then! There's literally 0 WAYS to fix this issue, so you might as well just ask Nokia Customer Support to fix it. Sorry, but the next time you want to get a phone for tinkering and installing custom ROMs, just buy a Xiaomi or maybe a Samsung with good community support instead

Huawei chc-u23 (gplay mini) failed to update and stack in permanent rebooting

Hi all,
I have Huawei CHC-U23 (Gplay mini) smartphone. I rooted it with KingRoot app. Then system said that there is update for EMUI available.
When I try to update error occurred. I press power button to reboot and my phone reboots again and again.
I press Up volume button with power button to enter Recovery 1.0 . I tried to "wipe data/factory reset" option and then "wipe cache partition" but nothing helped.
I tried to find system image file on official site huawei.com but all I find is HiSuite Setup program. I've no idea how to use this.
So my question is how to repair my phone? How to flash system image? Where can I get appropriate system image? And how do I put it on memory card? Any help is really appreciated!
Huawei CHC-U01 - B069 - flash system.img
I have the same issue, I rooted the device with Kingroot and now I can´t install OTA updates.
I´ve tried removing Kinguser and root access, fastboot (some commands not allowed), factory reset, update.app in /dload folder, tried flashing update.zip with CWM (error), etc... and nothing works.
Is there any other way to flash the system.img?

How do I create a profile for CHC-U01 (Huawei update extractor)?
Can´t flash system.img
fastboot oem get-bootinfo
<bootloader> unlocked
fastboot flash system system.img
failed <remote: Command not allowed>

[Huawei G730-U10] Problems, problems and problems trying to use a custom recovery.

I have an "old" Huawei Ascend G730-U10 which has a terrible..... TERRIBLE stock ROM, starting from the general stability of applications and the system itself to the fact that this phone was released to be never, ever updated; so I want to install a custom ROM.
But since I'm doing it, there are over 9000 bugs and problems, and maybe the only thing that went almost right was rooting (except for the fact that I'm stuck with KingRoot since SuperSU refuses to install).
First of all, I couldn't even request the unlock code the usual way, since the code to bring up the Product ID didn't work and I had to contact Huawei directly.
After getting the code, I booted into the bootloader, did "fastboot oem unlock *code*" and... I don't even know if it worked! No message appeared and doing "fastboot oem get-bootinfo" returns "FAILED (remote: not support on security)".
After finding both a TWRP and a Clockworkmod build for this phone (the latter one is actually for G730-U00, I don't know if it would work), I tried doing "fastboot boot *path_to_recovery_image*", but that doesn't work either, as it just hangs on "downloading 'boot.img'..." without doing anything (last try I left it there for 20 minutes). I don't want to already flash the recovery directly since I want to test if it works and I don't want to brick the phone.
Can someone help me?

Bootloader block in the page.

Hello, I tried to unlock the bootloader several times, and was blocked, the page displays that too many attempts, how to unlock it? I care about time.
Thanks guy..
I'm sorry for my English.
Hello. Where exactly do you get "too many retries", in the webpage to request the code or in fastboot mode where you must type the command to unlock the watch's bootloader? What watch model? Can you share a screenshot showing the problem?

When you enter the unlock command, an error appears and can not be unlocked.
When he types "fastboot devices" he shows me "0123456789 fastboot"
when entering a command to unlock shows me
"failed (remote: ED)

If you have the wrong code and you attempted to enter it many times then maybe there is some security mechanism that permanently locked it. I advise you to post your question, with screenshots if possible, in the unlock bootloader thread so other people with more experience about doing it can help you.

No option to update from ADB in recovery menu - HDX 8.9 3rd Gen

When I use ADB to reboot into recovery, there is no option on my device to update from ADB. (See picture)
I just want to wipe the device and flash the latest update to get it running normally.
Am I missing something obvious?
Thanks.

I've also tried going into fastboot and running the recovery command
.\fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
It returns with:
FAILED (remote: 'flashing not allowed for locked hw')
I'm guessing this has something to do with why ADB is not showing in recovery menu.

Stock HDX devices do not have a customary recovery menu or fastboot command set. If your device fails to boot and Amazon's simplistic reset does not fix it there is no recourse other than unlocking the bootloader (3rd gen) or tossing it in the waste bin (4th gen).

Problem with installing ROM via TWRP (A/B device)

I have problem with installing new ROM on phone Xiaomi MIX4 with A/B Partition file system. I followed this tutorial: https://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-install-twrp/
Before I started my trying to update my system, my phone was running this ROM from xiaomi.eu community and everything was running good.: xiaomi.eu_multi_MIX4_V13.0.6.0.SKMCNXM_v13-12-fastboot.zip
Newer ROM, I want to install, is this one: xiaomi.eu_multi_MIX4_V13.0.8.0.SKMCNXM_v13-12.zip
but this new ROM can’t be installed simple through fastboot as previous one, so I need to do it in more complicated way (via TWRP):
Steps I did:
1. I did all data backup on external drive.
2. Phone is fully charged.
3. Bootloader is unlocked.
4. USB Debugging and OEM Unlocking allowed
5. Reboot to bootloader
6. Set active B partition through ADB command – “fastboot set_active b”
7. Run TWRP and tried to wipe all the data through WIPE button, but error occurred:

}
8. Trying to install TWRP zip file (twrp-installer-3.7.0_11-0-odinx.zip) through TWRP Install button, but this error occurred:
Can you help me, what do I wrong? What step did I miss?
I tried a few alternative ways to solve this problem, but nothing helped and phone acctually can't run android anymore. Only shows fastboot logo and nothing else.
Thank you very much
Lukas
