TWRP

Patched boot image myself using imgpatchtools. Used A19 from you and applied the boot.img.p patch from OTA zip.

For anyone who needs. Here is the C.01 image for DN2103, stock and patched with magisk, you can read and write these with MTKclient as fastboot is removed in C.01. You may need to rename it to .bin

Sorry, downgrade from OS A12 to Stock OS A11

A full OTA from Android 11 to Android 12, for DN2103 EU version, is possible to post? Thank you

Why do you need fastboot? If root is all you want then flash those with MTKclient and BROM mode. Otherwise look in the forums there is instructions to downgrade from 11-12.
I'm actually wondering if we flash the right partitions from 11 while running 12 if it will brick or if it will reenable fastboot. Maybe someone brave can try

I have two EU phones right now. One have received OxygenOS 12.1 (C.01) and another one is sitting on A.20. Can I grab an update from the first phone somehow?

"quote

Assuming you've downloaded the update via the OTA settings tab, the update.zip will be at this location and can be transferred to your PC or flashed using TWRP as-is from the above location. "

Where to find update script A20 to A21?
You patched only the boot.img. Is this enough? Idk, since never received this A21 update.
Please elaborate how to update from A20 to A21 on rooted with magisk_patched_A20.img to A21 update with magisk_patched_A21.img
Thank you!

update-script file is located under META-INF\com\google\android\ in the incremental OTA zip file. (To get the link of the OTA update file, I used https://github.com/Akilesh-T/OTALink )
Patching just the boot.img works perfectly for me. root access and no limitations.
So far I've used the described patching method like this:
1. Patch boot.img as described above (create A21 from A20 img file)
2. Patch created boot.img with Magisk
3. Uninstall Magisk (Restore boot Image)
4. Install incr. OTA
5. After OTA installation, boot to fastboot
6. Flash magisk patched boot.img
7. fastboot reboot
Done.

Thank you very much.
I try to figure how to do the step 4. Need offline install, because: 1) if try with TWRP end with bootloop, 2) the system updater wants to push me C.01 straight from A20. 3) for now want to keep the latest 11.3
Maybe using imgpatchtools can do update from my PC. Any idea?

Image Format
This is the original secure signed zip from HTC. It contains all of the images for the various partitions on the device, which can be flashed via fastboot. To flash, extract the command 'fastboot flash partition imagename'. If you are on a completely stock ERD79 device (including stock recovery image), you can use the official ERE27 update (this is the same as the OTA update). Just download it, put it on the SD card named update.zip, launch recovery (power on with volume down held), press power and volume up when the warning triangle icon appears then select 'apply update.zip'. Online Kitchen
The online kitchen below allows you to create a custom update ZIP with the components you require. The image is still stock, you just have the option of leaving out the bits you don't want. For expert users, the option to include either an insecure boot image or the superboot root boot image (with or without himem) is included. The radio image can also be included.
Enjoy!

Good Job!!!
Finally a kitchen for android, online non the less. About time in all honesty, I wonder why it took a year. Maybe some future options would be to choose which partition the applications go to? Also an upload option for our own software would be handy with options of partitions of course.
This is the same ROM all nexuses is shipped with?

Holy ****! When did we get an online kitchen?!?!?! I've never seen this before for any phone I've ever owned! Now I know the awe that my parents must have felt when they first saw the internet!
Haha, my new baby... there's some awesome new stuff coming to the online kitchen too.
Imagine having a 'Kitchen' app on your device where you pick the bits you want (in a native UI) and it downloads the update.zip ready for you to flash.
It's coming.

Assuming you are on a custom ROM, do a Wipe and Dalvik's cache wipe before flashing it.
After flashing this - do another Wipe and your good to go
03/Feb ERE27 - New update rooted and unrooted, optional radio, optional himem
Well here it is people, Google's ERE27 update, repacked by yours truly to apply just how you like.
If you are on a completely stock device
1. Google's own update
If you are on a completely stock device (including stock recovery image), you can use the official update. Just download it, put it on the SD card named update.zip, launch recovery (power on with volume down held), press power and volume up when the warning triangle icon appears then select 'apply update.zip'. Sorted.
If you are on a non-stock device
Simply work through the steps below. Steps 1 and 2 are highly recommended. Use step 3 OR 4 OR 5 as desired. Step 6 just makes it all super easy.
1. The main update itself
I've downloaded the main update and repurposed it to a conventional update zip, to apply via the modified recovery. This is non wipe, and can be flashed over the top of just about anything. It is completely stock, secure and unrooted... see below for more on that.
2. The radio update
The update includes a new Radio ROM, which I have packaged seperately, again as an update zip. It carries version number 32.24.00.22U_4.03.00.21_2.
3. Insecure boot image
If you don't want to have full root but you'd like ADB remount permissions, you need to flash an insecure boot image. Because i'm nice, I made one for you. Simply download it, put your device in bootloader and run 'fastboot flash boot boot.ERE27.insecure.img'.
4. Superboot boot image.
You don't just want insecure boot, you want root (su and superuser)? I don't blame you... and again, because i'm nice, i've made you a superboot. Simply download it, put your device in bootloader and run 'fastboot flash boot boot.ERE27.superboot.img'.
5. Superboot boot image with himem.
If you'd like to make use of the full RAM on your device, you can use the Superboot himem boot image. It includes everything in the superboot image above, plus an updated kernel and wireless driver. Simply download it, put your device in bootloader and run 'fastboot flash boot boot.ERE27.superboot.himem.img'.
6. Another way - the MoDaCo Online Kitchen.
The online kitchenallows you to create a custom update ZIP with the components you require. The image is still stock, you just have the option of leaving out the bits you don't want. For expert users, the option to include either an insecure boot image or the superboot root boot image is included. The radio image can also be included.

Enjoy!

A2017G - Nougat B05 is out (Spain)

For those who are interested : A2017G V1.2.0B05

Like someone posted, Poland is getting the B05 too. Perhaps other countries will follow.
AFAIK : ZTE Germany mentioned a new security patch ( also future new security patches would be implemented), also the problem which was on Vodafone LTE is probably confirmed to be gone (german users could confirm this here when tested)
Will upload it to the DownloadCenter ( AndroidFileHost )
Perhaps @tron1 can make a flashable zip
Interesting.
I'm curious what ZTE bring to this update.

A full ROM ( a little bigger than the B04 ) - i'm uploading it to my AFH because ZTE server is sloooooooowwww
Imo, stock users could update this B05 on any G-version without a problem (rename to update.zip...you know by now....)
No changelog provided ( AFAIK )
Just updated.
Well the only very visible change compared to B04 is the upgrade of Google security patches to 1st of June.

Post back if you see anything new please.
I've installed it now and done a full reset. I'm really hoping battery life will be like B02 (7.1.1). With B04, battery life took a serious hit for me, even after resets.
I'm a bit disappointed that MiFavor 5.0 was not included. Hopefully it'll come soon.
It is quite snappy, but I'm not sure that it is more so than B04. I'm wondering if the finger print sensor is working a bit better or not. Could just be my imagination. Time will tell.
I'll report back if I notice anything special.
There are no official changelog?
I think this is a very good update. Cell reception has improved a lot. Phone feels and is much snappier. I've taken couple of shots with the camera and focusing is better and faster.

I too asked tron1 for TWRP flashable B05 version without answer yet (https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=72851004&postcount=95).
Since you have Android file host account, may I suggest you to build them by yourself and put them in your download center ?
Following is the procedure I found to build TWRP flashable version from full ROM ("update.zip") :
full ROM from ZTE = update.zip (27 files) = (tron1's bootstack (20 files) + tron1's stock system (4 files)+ recovery.img + fastboot.img + emmc_appsboot.mbn)
recovery.img is the stock recovery from full ROM
TWRP flashable ROM (bootstack + stock system) does not include recovery.img, this explains why TWRP is preserved and not overridden by stock recovery,
and so TWRP can be used to flash TWRP flashable-ROM. fastboot.img and emmc_appsboot.mbn are not included too, so the boot loader (usually unlocked) is untouched.
To build TWRP flashable ROM files:
ZTE_A2017GV1.2.0B05_BootStack_by_raystef66.zip
ZTE_A2017GV1.2.0B05_Stock_System_by_raystef66.zip
- copy ZTE_A2017GV1.2.0B04_BootStack_by_tron1.zip to ZTE_A2017GV1.2.0B05_BootStack_by_raystef66.zip
- copy ZTE_A2017GV1.2.0B04_Stock_System_by_tron1.zip to ZTE_A2017GV1.2.0B05_Stock_System_by_raystef66.zip
- open ZTE_A2017GV1.2.0B05_BootStack_by_raystef66.zip (with TotalCommander, or WinRAR etc...) and replace all the files (20 files)
(except META-INF directory) by their equivalent taken from update.zip.
- open ZTE_A2017GV1.2.0B05_Stock_System_by_raystef66.zip (with TotalCommander, or WinRAR etc...) and replace all the files (4 files)
(except META-INF directory) by their equivalent taken from update.zip.
- in ZTE_A2017GV1.2.0B05_BootStack_by_raystef66.zip, change \META-INF\com\google\android\updater-script content to reflect B05 and the author
ui_print("----------------------------------------");

To build TWRP flashable ROM files:
ZTE_A2017GV1.2.0B05_BootStack_by_raystef66.zip
ZTE_A2017GV1.2.0B05_Stock_System_by_raystef66.zip

- open ZTE_A2017GV1.2.0B05_BootStack_by_raystef66.zip (with TotalCommander, or WinRAR etc...) and replace all the files
(except META-INF directory) by their equivalent taken from udpate.zip.
- open ZTE_A2017GV1.2.0B05_Stock_System_by_raystef66.zip (with TotalCommander, or WinRAR etc...) and replace all the files

There is no real ota (yet?). But you will not lose anything by updating with the full file. It will not erase data. You can check this through the system update service when you put the file on the SD card. It should say if the update will erase data or not.

Is there a version of MSM download tool that can flash oppo A72

Just wondering if there is a version of MSM download tool that can flash oppo A72. As I have the stock ofp firmware but all versions of tool fail. I've also extracted the ofp and tried with qfil but no joys.
Oppo a72 don't have ofp firmware, it have ozip. You can flash it with stock recovery. To enter: turnoff, press and hold power+vol-, when wibrate and oppo logo is displayed release buttons. Tap "english", you're in stock recovery

Thank you for your reply. I know about the ozip update, but they are not complete flashes. I was wanting to mess about with modified boot image but have no way to flash it back.
Send me this file. What modifications you have made. Which file is boot image. I've tried patch by magisk but not successful

I have just once again extracted boot. Img from both OTA ozip update and from a full ofp rom found on the net. And managed to patch it with magisk manager (canary). But I still have no way of flashing it back to the phone as no way of encrypting ozip files once decrypted and I don't have a version of MSM download tool that works or qfil or edl tools. The top image shows file size difference of patched boot.img. Second shows magisk can patch it.

Ok, I see what can do with this. Later check it on my pc. Oh, no. I forgot that I have a system from another country through a vpn and needs the same version to be able to check. If you have an ozip file, put patched boot.img into this archive. Try uploading by recovery

I can't just put the boot. Img back into the ozip as it all needs encrypting again.
I have just 11, so I need such a file ozip. Unless I try to get back to 7 and there will be no problem. The ozip file has a zip structure Installed in twrp recovery. Perhaps the size of boot.img is given. I'll check it out

If you can decrypt the ozip, would it be possible to encrypt it again and flash it through stock recovery?
Also, if you can get into EDL, wouldn't that make it possible to flash things too?

I would recommend a Linux boot dvd if you are using a Windows computer, best to decrypt an ofp full firmware package. I'm away from my pc till next week but can send you boot.img then. Although I successfully modded it with magisk still no way too flash it.
I tried several times, unfortunately the package with the changed boot.img is rejected immediately. But there is a chance. I was wrong oppo has ofp firmware. However, I can't decrypt this file under linux, so further attempts are pointless. The file is oppo-decrypt-master with ofp_qc_extract.py in it. If you could try

Really cool. Finally some development for g8x
Man, thank you for your effort!
I installed the kernel while using the Havoc 3.12 GSI ROM. The system booted up beautifully. The only downside is SafetyNet not certifying it. But this is probably because Selinux is set to permissive. I hope your work will be stable soon. Best of luck!
Glad we got a kernel finally! But for some reason though, I can't get it to boot. What compiler did you use? Maybe I could help get DriveDroid working? I'd like that too actually.

I installed version 3.12 with GAPPS included.
I have not tested the CTS module but as it is very difficult to pass the safetypass check with the kernel in permissive mode so I went back to the stock kernel.
I installed Havoc using TWRP as system image.

2. Kernel Build
- Uncompress using following command at the android directory
a) tar -xvzf *_Kernel_Q.tar.gz
- When you compile the kernel source code, you have to add google original "prebuilt" source(toolchain) into the android directory.
- Run following scripts to build kernel
a) cd kernel/msm-4.14
b) export CROSS_COMPILE=../../../prebuilts/gcc/linux-x86/aarch64/aarch64-linux-android-4.9/bin/aarch64-linux-android-
c) export CLANG_TRIPLE=aarch64-linux-gnu-
d) make O=./out ARCH=arm64 vendor/mh2lm-perf_defconfig
e) make O=./out ARCH=arm64 REAL_CC=../../../prebuilts/clang/host/linux-x86/clang-r353983c/bin/clang -j24
* "-j24" : The number, 24, is the number of multiple jobs to be invoked simultaneously.
- After build, you can find the build image(Image) at kernel/msm-4.14/out/arch/arm64/boot
its the readme from original source i used

How's RR rom working?
Is there any problem apart from FP, D2TW and dual screen?
LG G8X is a popular device in India bcaz of a Sale of device for less than 300$ just like Poco f1 . It would be great if I get a 62 Hz or more overclock mod as PUBG MOBILE 90FPS config works for 60hz+ devices and it improves fire rate of guns dramatically .
Please just make a mod even if it just 62hz I will be greatly thankfull

Please just make a mod even if it just 62hz I will be greatly thankfull

I don't get it... The Mi Mix 4 is an A/B-Device, so it's not supposed to have a recovery partition. Question is, how is "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img." supposed to work?

I don't know. I'm not an android developer, that's why I'm asking if it's the right twrp for this device or not.

Looks like we'll have to wait. I won't touch this one, or make any changes (except unlocking the bootloader) until a stable EU-Version is released.
