You should have (see below); it is one of the preinstalled apps and you can't normally uninstall it, unless you removeed it with adb?

Very odd; mine was a sealed unit direct from China, and has Game Center installed. I believe there is only one ROM right now, the Chinese version, so every retail Find N unit must have it. So unless you uninstalled it, or whomever you bought it from did, then it should be on your Find N.
Only thing I can suggest if you don't have it, is to either reset your phone to factory settings, or try to find the APK file for Game Center onliine and side load it.

Chrome and Gmail app: placements got reversed

I have no idea what I did so now everything that was on the right side (menu, submit, etc) is now on the left side. The URL bar and etc, which was more towards the left originally is now on the right. I'm sure it's a setting issue but I have no idea what to change.
hello, still need help with this. basically ... use to be on the right, now it's on the left and because of it, everything else is being reversed in placement.

Yeah, I already tried those suggestions but it still doens't fix it...so seems like some system issue. I thought it would be something to LEFT HAND related? but it doesn't seem to be unless if I am looking at something different. It's not all apps but some apps. I didn't root or anything yet and AE6...forgot when it exactly happen.

Play (Music)
facebook
seems to be affected...
Looks like you have your setting set to Right to Left, instead of standard Left to Right.
Did you try checking device locale (not language)?

I don't see why they wouldn't...it is the same Android Wear isn't it? (aside from a few extra apps here and there)
Working on a app uninstaller too. I know this isn't supposed to be a standalone device and this stuff will probably only be in the rom I am working on. It's all new to be but I'm enjoying messing with it. ?
I think wear does need an uninstaller. Some wear apps dont show in the launcher of your phone, only in the apps list on play (where they can get buried easily) or worse on the apps tab on the phones settings menu.
As it stands if you have a problem with your phone you cant do anything with a Wear device. So if that app is malware, or otherwise borks your phone and/or watch, tough.

Yes! It will be great a "night" mode. I sleep with the watch, and I want that:
- the screen must be off
- it must change to on (but dimmed) with a touch, double touch or something similar, but not with the movement of my arm
- it must be easy to activate/deactivate this "night" mode
It will be a very useful utility!
And now I'm playing

App Permission for firmware 23.5.A.1.291

Hello Everyone,
I"ve searched in the search box but it didn't show the result. I have upgraded my Xperia Z2 to firmware 23.5.A.1.291. When I press the Google Maps app. It asks me to allow that app permission. I press allow. The next box appears like like "Screen Overlay Detected" the attached pix

And when I tap "Open Settings" it leads me to a list of apps. From there I don't know what to do next, because, when I tap the Google Maps app in the list It leads me to App Permissions like: Contact, Location, Phone, Storage. I tap "Location", it doesn't turn green, but the box "Screen Overlay Detected" appears again. Please help. I don't know what to do.

If you use xposed, try NoOverlayWarning module.

If you don't use Xposed you have to force stop or kill app which draw overlay on screen such as messenger chathead, Lux. Before you grant permission for new app
Sorry for my English though.
If you're using an app that control brightness, like flux, or something that adds a colour filter like CF.lumen, that is your culprit, but you need to be very careful because this overlay warning is there to protect you from apps hijacking your clicks, so be careful.
I also faced the same issue of screen overlay, then I disabled all screen overlay app and then enable it one by one and then keep checking if permission is working or not, in this way I found 3 apps to be held culprit. Thats because of May security patch in 291 firmware, i did upgrade 1 app among those 3 culprit and it start behaving normally. So what I did is I mailed the other 2 guys about the issue, so that they too update their apps.

I am desperately trying to hide and block the update to 4.1. I am still on 3.1 and hear all the bugs of 4.1 are rough. If it's not possible, im gonna return the phone
You need to disable the OTA Update app.
Use a adb edit or a package disabler.
Your carrier can disable it from their side as well.
Stay away from wifi networks until this is done. The carrier may also have update towers which update very fast if you get in range.

Yes, the top one is the firmware upgrade one. It has literally just about every permission under the sun. The way it behaves it might as well be malware.
I blocked the second one as well. This N10+ in my hand hasn't been upgraded/updated in almost 2.5 years, still running on Pie. Current load will be 2 yo this June, still fast and stable with minimal maintenance. Security simply isn't an issue... upgrades are

Question S23 Ultra what is the dev password for Smart View hidden settings

Just noticed the new an updated app for smart view now has a password to ask the hidden settings:
Works on all older versions of the app on S22ultra and older, but for some reason there's a password just to access the hidden settings.
Anyone know how I can get around this, either downgrade my smart view app or find the password for it.
For example the password for the older version of advanced controls used to be #00sv00 on my S22ultra or S21 or S10
Any help is appreciated

It is your password. The one the phone asks for in the lock screen (or every 72 hours if you use fingerprint lock)
