Question Does anyone have a Global carrier_policy.xml? I need to unlock SIM, already unlocked BL - OnePlus Nord N200 5G

Verizon's phone can't unlock the network. I have extracted the carrier_policy.xml file which is locked. Does anyone know how to modify this file?

Possible sim unlock?

Based from patrick92260's post, I'm assuming that he unlocked his ATT Lumia 920 by flashing "RM-821 unbranded euro developer" and made it to work with T-Mo..
Again, I'm also assuming that he used 059R4H6: RM-821 VAR EURO1 DEVELOPER DEVICE BLACK for I haven't gotten any response yet...
Now, while I was downloading the rom above, I noticed a file named NWP8_simlock_3gstandard_bb5_crcA59A.bin
(3G Standard - not sure if HSPA+ is included in this bin file...)
(BB5 - I think it is Baseband 5)
(crcA59A - Not sure what it means, but it looks like a hex code)
Out of curiosity, I looked at the ATT rom.. Viola, there is a file named NWP8_WP8_ATT_US_simlock_crc995C.bin
My theory is that the phone could be unlocked if we flash the file above...
Having said that, anyone brave enough to flash a normal ATT rom with a NWP8_simlock_3gstandard_bb5_crcA59A.bin?
I'm still downloading the files, and I'm still a newb when it comes to flashing WP8 devices..
Flashing another rom will not give you a sim unlock ever. My phone was unlocked via the code I got from ATT.

Thanks for clarifying that. How did you unlock that? Were you the lucky one that called the rep or something?
I vaguely remember reading a thread like that...
EDIT: To mods, please delete/lock the thread if necessary. thanks
These files are for production only. They define the simlocks and must be signed together with the calculated individual unlock codes and IMEI.

HELP

Hello I accidentally changed the Base band settings to USA band now I can't use a sim card on it . Hence, the signal is lost completely no network at all.
Am aware am suppose to flash the radio
Fastboot flash radio radio.img
I just wanna know the step by step procedures in accomplishing such task or any other method preferably that would yield the same end result.
Thank you

How did you change the bands? If you can change it to USA you should be able to change it back.

You can't flash stuff with fastboot with a locked bootloader, you should be able to change it back to cellular in the same menu.

hi bro, i already unlock sonim xp8800 sprint and att, no matter imei , can change, but with cat s48c we dont have a loader or a stock rom only backups and all backups are sprint, for example for unlock sonim sprint the fast way is flash att rom without check modemst1 and modemst2 , so i have a theory with cat , when already unlock if restore qcn and fix imei the imei fixed is imei 2, y remove from the sim tray the extra cover i think is for sim 2(imei2) but nothing happen, maybe becouse stock rom only recognize single sim, on sonim already enable dual sim. if you are available for work with me send pm

Would doing this remove all the carrier restrictions such as the garbage apps installed by them, and prevent them from coming back in the future?
You could easily just use Adb app control to disable what you don't want. But yes flashing unlocked firmware will result in no carrier bloat

I have already used adb to remove bloat, but new apps are still somehow popping up, and I don't want old ones to come back after an update.
Where can I learn how to flash unlock firmware? Particularly on an s23U
From my thread. Just download unlocked firmware, extract it. You will have files BL..AP..CP..CSC..HONE_CSC. Download patched Odin to computer. On device activate developer options enable usb debugging. Put device in download mode. Open Odin on computer connect device. Odin will see device , it will show green top left if Odin. Pur BL file in BL spot..AP file in Ap spot. CP file in CP spot..Csc in Csc spot..click start.

I heard that you can no longer unlock samsung US carrier phones
You are talking about something totally different. Unlocked firmware is not bootloader unlocking or sim unlocking. All unlocked firmware means is its not carrier branded. You asked about unlocked firmware, not bootloader unlock

Most of us already know how to flash firmware with Odin. Here, anyone can post available firmware for everyone to use as well as general discussion. U firmware can be flashed on a U1 device and U1 firmware can be flashed on a U device using Odin...

The difference is you need a token from Samsung to unlock the bootloader. Sim unlock is usually done after device is paid off and code is given by carrier. Your just talking about firmware. Firmware doesn't unlock the bootloader or sim unlock. If you want firmware without carrier bloat you are just wanting U1 firmware instead of U firmware. I don't know why so many people buy carrier locked devices then want unlocked firmware. Just buy unlocked device.

In some cases, domestic riding is limited to only devices sold by the carrier. As an example, I have T-Mobile USA. If I need to to on to US Cellular, I must have a device that was sold to me by T-Mobile or domestic roaming for US Cellular will not work. The issue specifically is with US Cellular not allowing the device to roam on to their network.

Is adb app control different from using adb to delete packages?
Adb app control is 1 click. You don't have to type in anything. It shows what's installed on device, you check box next to the app to disable or delete. Has restore function also

So it simplifies the process rather than provides new features? Is this the right source? https://adbappcontrol.com/en/
