Question Help! Nord 200 stock Camera app and Gcam apps crashing. - OnePlus Nord N200 5G

Yesterday my Nord 200 Camera App stopped working. when I restart my phone there is an error message that the Camera is already in use by another app. But app switcher doesn't show any open apps. I hope I don't have to do a factory reset

"Camera is already in use by another app" So it iemans what it's said. To solve this problem, uninstall all apps that have rights to use your camera in backround such like some photo editor tools or snapchat , etc. Also go to Settings /Apps & Notifications / App Permissions/ check Camera and disable or reset apps that have all time permissions.

Android force close loop (with phone access)?

Hello,
I have a problem with my samsung galaxy s2 GT-I9100
running android 2.3.5 stock version.
I'm normal user who used the phone for basic function like making phone calls and using the google, facebook apps with some installed apps from the play store.
Today, 2 hours ago logsprovider initiated out of nowhere an endless loop of "force close" alerts, between them most of the running apps were closed too (including some weird z7... app).
Because of the interval (about half a second) between alerts I can goto setting -> apps -> and "clear data" in the logsprovider config.
this stops the "force close" alerts loop untill the next restart of the phone. in this state I basically don't have access to the phone features and all the home screens are empty, including the phone's apps menu.
I can run any app by adding it to the home screen and then executing it, if the app has system operation like the play store that require it to install something, the app will crash and no new programs will install.
I can also connect the phone to a computer and get access to all the files (I think it's just those on storage), I might try to get an apk of an antivirus there and try to install it - hope it doesn't crash
These are desprate times... thats why I'm contacting the experts,
1. Can I fix this, this might have been caused by an app, what to do?
2. If the only solution is factory reset how do I backup the data, apps, or contact lists?

Question regarding Root App Delete

All,
I decided to be proactive today and disable/remove some bloatware that cannot be tamed with Gemini App Manager. After a brief search, I decided to install Root App Delete. To play it safe, I decided to use its Safe Mode under the Systems Apps button. Among the first app I tried disabling were Google+ and Google Play [magazines/books/music]. After disabling these apps, I launched Gemini App Manager only to see these apps still running. (They are like cockroaches - almost impossible to kill.)
So, I fired up Root App Delete and selected Pro Mode, in order to permanently delete these apps. The problem is that I could not find them in the list of apps. So, I again tried Safe Mode and re-enabled them, figuring that perhaps disabled apps could not be accessed from Pro Mode. Problem is that I still cannot find these apps listed when using Pro Mode. I tried killing Root App Delete and restarting it, but that did not help either. I also restarted the phone, but that did not help either.
Is this user error or a bug?
Any suggestions?
Thx

[Q] How to remove whats app from greenify?

How to remove whats app from greenify? the new update doesn't show any option or may be I am missing something obvious. I don't want whatsapp to be hibernated
Did you try to highlight Whatsapp in the hibernated list and click the menu button? You will see the option to degreenify the selected app. Click that and it is degreenified.

In teh latest version when I highlight it then shows 2 options one is X another is zzZ I clicked on X so whats app is no more in hibernated list but I am still not getting messages unless I open whatsapp
which means it still is hibernated.
I got the message saying
"Despite degreenified apps still stay in hibernation until you wake it up by explicitly launching it" so I have opened it its not in the app list but still remains hibernated.
Am I missing something? cant I get whatsapp back out working normally?
Those options are for hibernating (zzZ) and cutting off the wake up path (not X but a scissor). What you should have done is to click the menu button (three vertical dots). Then you would have got the option for degreenifying. What you seem to have done is to cut off the wake up path.
You can try to clear the cache and data of Greenify and see whether Whatsapp works. But it will involve selecting all the apps again to greenify. Otherwise I think that you may have to uninstall and reinstall Whatsapp.
I am not an expert on this so wait for some more comments before attempting to do anything.
Actually new version changed a bit so I could not find those option, anyway Just restarted the phone & seems what app is running now, I can see it in running apps will wait to get a message, hopefully its working now.

IF you are facing similar problem in the future, you could actually backup your WhatsApp conversations (TiB or other backup tools you admire) and uninstall WhatsApp. After uninstalling, reboot, and then reinstall WhatsApp. Launch WhatsApp first and then attempt backup restore for your WhatsApp app.
This is a known problem and proved to some people faced it. Unfortunately however, Greenify has no way to fix this, as this is much more in behalf of WhatsApp's fault. You can search in the old thread if you are interested.
Remove Apps from Auto-Hibernation
1. Open Greenify App
2. Look for the app you want to keep open under the "Pending Manual Hibernation" list.
3. Press AND HOLD the app for a few seconds.
4. When new menu appears across the top, press the "X" button to remove it from the auto-hibernate list.
This is for Greenify App v2.8.1 on Android (Galaxy Note 5 on AT&T Network).
Trying to de-greenify stopwatch/timer app
I have a stopwatch and timer app which does not sound its alert when Greenify is active. If I force stop Greenify I get the alerts. The app does not show on Greenify's list of hibernated apps , even when a timer is in progress, so I can't work out how to de-greenify it.
Any ideas?

- if on MM/Nougat remove app from optimize list using ROM interface
- avoid using aggressive/shallow doze (experimental features)

[Q] Huawei, Camera app blocked for safety reasons??

Hi there. Please, could you guys help me with my camera app trouble? I've got Huawei Mate 9 Pro with latest updated Android 9 (EMUI 9.1, details below) and I use original Huawei camera app. I like this phone and everything worked just fine, till now... Two weeks ago I tried tu use my camera app and I couldn't. I didn't install any new 3rd party app lately. When I press the camera app button camera starts with black screen and error message "Camera Error - camera was disabled because of safety reasons" and then it shutdowns. I also get error messages in all other apps that use camera - Whatsapp says "Unable to start camera, restart your phone", Messenger says "We're sorry, camera doesn't work. It may be necessary to close other apps that are using camera", and so on... Like I said - I didn't install any other app lately, so everything is like it was.
What's interesting - I tried to run my phone in Repair mode and there camera app works fine, everything is ok. But when I switch to my account and phone profile it doesn't work.
I tried to stop camera app, clear the cache and data. Tried to wipe phone cache and reset apps permissions. I checked all camera app permissions - everything is ok. I called the Huawei consumer help center and they didn't know how to help me, just said I need to run factory reset. So, frustrated, I made a factory reset with backup. After reset and restoring backup of all apps and data, and security update of phone - the camera app worked again! I could make pictures and movies... for one day. After night I tried to run camera app again, and there's the error again. Now I'm helpless... Please, help me. What could be the reason of this error?
My guess is that some other app uses camera app or it was disabled (locked / banned) by Google Account or something? Why? Could it be blocked for "safety reasons" because of some specific photo?
Huawei Mate 9 Pro
Android 9
EMUI 9.1
Compilation 9.1.0.254(C432E7R1P6patch03)
Camera app version 9.1.0.333
Up. Anyone could help me? Problem still exists...
Did you manage to find a solution ?
edit : found out what was causing mine, sensors were set to off in an app, forgot to turn back on. works agein

Removing/Disabling Google/Facebook/Instagram/Bloatware from Nougat?

Hi Everyone,
Yesterday, I received a New Unlocked LG G5 H850 (Europe) phone which has Android 7.0 Nougat installed.
I want to disable/uninstall all the Google/Facebook/Instagram/Bloatware as much as I can without installing any third party ROM before installing F-Droid.
I have already disabled most of the Google apps but there is one I am not sure about.
In the Apps list is an entry for Documents and it indicates that 72.00 KB is being used. It has a Green Android icon to the left of the name.
When I open this entry, the Force stop button is Enabled and the Disable button is Disabled.
My searching elsewhere indicates that this app could be related to the Downloads app in the App Drawer. The Downloads app does not have an entry in the standard Apps list.
However, if I choose to also display the System Apps, there now appears entries for a Download Manager app and the Downloads app. Both of these apps have both the Force stop button and Disable button Enabled.
Can any, or all, of these 3 apps be disabled and uninstalled?
If so, what replacement Apps do you recommended be used?
Thanks muchly, Muchas Gracias, Vielen dank, Merci beaucoup, Arigato, Obrigado, M.
You can disable bloatware through adb: https://www.xda-developers.com/uninstall-carrier-oem-bloatware-without-root-access/
But do not disable apps that can't be disabled through the settings, and that you don't know what they're doing. The "Document" app is surely the file explorer, that's why it's linked to your download manager. Those apps are system, not bloatware.
You can take care of facebook/instagram/... with this app but leave that "Document" app alone
Have a good day
