Wait..... WHAAA!?!?
You guys are STILL giving this great old E2 new life?!?
My hats off to you sir(s?)
I'm waiting in a replacement screen, then I'll flash, but wow man!
Just awesome!
I got into rooting and ROM flashing because when I got my shiny new Moto E2, my local cell store had a supply of developer edition E2's, so bootloader unlocking - at that time ALL cellular companies where sim locking, and bootloaders where bolted down tight - was ez p-z!
Thank you for continuing to breathe life into these older, but perfectly capable handsets!!

This will probably be a one-time build. I might build it every few months but I don't have the resources and time to make it official.

Of all the custom ROMs I've tried on the Surnia, since its launch in early 2015, the Validus developed ROMs have long been my preference in terms of responsiveness, performance, battery life, etc. I'll put your build right up there with those custom ROMs. Exceptionally smooth and fluid. Again, well done and thank you. I thank the Cipher dev team as well.

May seem like a strange question but do we know which version of the Qualcomm Open GLES3 drivers are in this Rom?
Theres V45 in the stock sony rom and I was hoping for a newer version. Im playing around with the doplhin for android emulator thats why I'm asking.
Oh snap! It's on!
Btw, funny how short that bug list is I'm used to a much longer list, right @avetny? (Exynos be damned)

Cm10.2. Good job!
What about the backlight probleem of the 10.1 version?
Can anyone test the backlight problem, and performance in games such as GTA VC ( mine was lagging on 10.1)
Thank you!
Firstly thanks for this ROM. Its great to have CyanogenMod for our device.
I checked the amazingly short bug list but I'm having a problem with Bluetooth audio, there's a lot of crackling and very poor distorted sound. I'll post a logcat if required but I'm away from my computer at the minute.
Anyone else having similar issues?
Also, 4g support? Where i normally see 4g im getting DC showing on the signal icon. Is this the same thing?
Thanks

What kernel, blade or the sense converted one, and does it have the fixed audio, also why make an other one when there was already a version built by Lloir?

You can use blade or the kernel included in the zip. It should have the audio fixes, if you are going to test it and it you still have the same problems as before please tell me and Loir is no longer maintaining his one, I do still use his device config etc.

Because i asked corne to do it for ME. that's why. And it's the usual kernel.
i have too many bugs in CM + AOSP right now to keep me busy and corne wanted something to do

Well I think I will test it later today or tomorow (cause I have to learn for tomorow's geography exam). As I guess XHaloFloatingWindow will not work with this because this has the splitscreen multiwindow integrated, I think I will just test it to see if my bluetooth gamepad will work with this and to report what's working/not working.

There is unofficial cm 12.1 which is 5.1. Any how whether it is or it isn't this rom is super smooth from first impressions, only thing I've found wrong is that I can't mount or use my external SD card. Help with this would be appreciated
Seems like d855 is leaving us d851 guys in the dust lately lol. Eager for this!! 5.1 is a blessing on all three of my Nexus devices.

What is this AOSPB I keep hearing about?
AOSP is Google's vision of Android. AOSPB is a ROM developer's vision of a strong base to build upon.
I am sharing this only because it feels amazing to use something as bare as this. I'd in fact take a step further and call this as close we get to a stock Marshmallow ROM.
DO NOT MAKE ANY FEATURE REQUESTS. NOTHING ELSE IS GOING TO BE ADDED. (Except for some optimizations in the future)
