Question Load Global Rom procedure? - Realme GT 2 Pro

Hi,
Anybody kind enough to share how to load the Global ROM on the Chinese version?
(I have done this before on my Lenovo Legion Duel 2 succesfully by following instructions by others).
Or how to load google services?
turbo3000

Wait until the bootloader can be unlocked.

.... we have to wait for a deep testing apk which works with ui3.0.
Otherwise no fastboot available to flash .....
i also use the chinese variant with 12/512 GB

google service is already included in the chinese firmware so just simply install google play store can do. there is no available methods to flash a global firmware yet.

bootloader is unlocked.....

Das bedeutet: es kann custom Rom erstellt werden?

1) Yep. You need proper drivers along with Windows 64 bit though.
2) Theoretically you should be able to but it doesn't seem to be working for 99 percent of the people. However you can flash it through mi flash.
Hit thanks if I helped you ?

Better to switch to a chinese firmware than to stay with an Indian or US firmware

Like the title say is it better chinese firmware for future updates, hearing about LeEco problems in the US and India. I have a Le Max 2 had the sellers firmware on it the one without the system update. I was able to install the Indian one 5.8.19S. The way I see this only the chinese firmware is up to 5.9 and have a better chance to get Nougat. Thanks.
You don't have chance to get Nougat from the stock firmware either India or Chinese stock.
you should stick on whatever stock firmware you already have, or lineage OS for the latest android with buggies
no I flashed tablets and smartphones for ages but now I wont to stick with stock firmware. I read that LeEco are working on Nougat updates but I thing the chinese will possibly have it or if not I will update to the chinese the 5.9.2xS. thanks

1. No, unless u install recovery and root. ( I don't see any point here as LeEco is almost dead). also u can come back to Indian anytime u wish.
2. Yes, same as Indian but without Google apps though you can install manually.

mi a3 Rom question- about EU rom and global

Mine is running on 10.3.13.0 PFQEUXM or Europe rom. Im trying to install custom recovery and root it later. I'm in the process of downloading the files like the fastboot rom just incase i have to go back to stock or if something goes wrong. I also prefers to use global rom since im not in the Europe region. My question is if its okay to flash Global version or will it brick the device?

I heard somebody accidentally flashed EU ROM on global version of the device when restoring the device using MiFlash.
While it did not brick the phone, the wifi Mac address get messed up. So I don't recommend you to try this.
It is better to flash the ROM that correspond to your device varient, just in case something goes bad.
Switching between EU/GLOBAL works fine, it doesn't brick anything. When I tried it I had to perform factory reset, otherwise the phone did not boot up. So far no one came with confirmed list of differences, it is being speculated that EU ROM has better privacy protection due to more strict EU laws and that headphones volume is limited to conform the EU laws. But again, there hasn't been provided a single proof for these claims and it seems that they are functionally the same, sharing the same features (and bugs). In the past months, Global version received OTA update few days in advance of EU, but the latest update arrived at the same time. Personally I don't have any problem with the EU ROM.
Thanks guys, i was able to install global rom and twrp + root without any problem. One thing i noticed is that EU is on v10.3.13 and global is 10.3.12,but both of them has the December security patch so no worries.

Global Rom Installed On China Version

Hi
Couple of years ago I bought redmi 5 plus which is china version but it got global miui stable version installed. (probebly by retailer)
now there is miui 10 and 11 available for my phone but I can not update using system update in setting. it says no update available.
so what should I do?
my own idea is to go back to china stable rom, but I don't know what method is harmless and easier to do so?
you have to unlock your boot-loader only then you will be able to flash latest global or chinese official MIUI rom. it is safe process, use xiaomiflasher softawre in PC.. watch more instructions in google or youtube.

Question Needing the latest Chinese rom. Does anyone have it available?

I'm trying to back to Chinese rom from Global rom due to needing a locked bootloader and non-root.
Myogui has CN rom on the Google drive in flash thread
Where is the flash thread?
