Yes, is Android 10 bro.
Just selinux as permissive

great!! i'm going to try this in the next few days
does this support signature spoofing for microG?
does this need some specific SW binaries/ODM installation or does this work with stock ODM image?
thanks for your work

Thanks for report, we'll check it. Disabled = permissive, kinda no difference.

I'm excited that msm8956 is still being maintained, even Lineage 18.1 is on road, I still hold my Xperia X Compact. Thank you so much.

Hello, I tried downloading the rom but it seems like the .zip was deleted, can you reupload it? TIA.

New version is up with Enforcing SELinux and working Encryption!!!

Finally, what I've been waiting for, can't wait to flash the rom. But can you please tell me if it drains battery on idle like it does on stock nougat and oreo? I'm gonna try it anyway but I'm just curious that's all, thanks!
Also which GApps would you prefer for better performance? mini, micro, nano or pico?

Hey
Good to hear that you are enjoying it.
You won't be able to use GCam on our builds as oreo stock camera blobs uses HAL1, and GCam uses HAL3
Thanks

Sorry if it's a stupid question but is there any way to get the stock sony camera on this rom as I can't use the GCam.

As I already said, this is an "early taste" Oreo build, so treat it like a preview.
Obviously, no feature requests for now.

Is there a specific reason for removing SetupWizard?
You better try to use this gapps: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=745425885120757579
Anyone tried as second rom?
As far as I can tell, it works fine.
It seems to be sluggish when compared to 7.1.2 ROM, but one can't really complain having a relatively ancient device getting an Oreo ROM ahead of most new devices, eh?

I use standard Lineage manifest
Anyway, here goes a new build (20170919).
Some really minor fixes here. DRM should work fine now (for media apps like Netflix, GP movies).
NFC starts fine now, but toggle still messes things up. If you will turn it off - it will work properly only after reboot.
I'm not 100% sure about NFC, cause I don't have any tags/other devices with NFC, but it looks like driver works fine. Will be glad to hear any feedback about real NFC functionality (android beam or tags).
No luck with a camera for now, cause we have some really weird cluster**** in our HAL/driver.

Yep you are right, seem to be having a bit of a conflict with magisk. Sometimes it takes sometimes it doesn't. Since moved on to using the newest Moto Camera: v4.0 (6.2.5.12) from here
https://forum.xda-developers.com/g5-plus/themes/pixel-gapps-rom-t3746456 and it works great including save to SD. Even though the dev has it listed under Oreo and the zip shows 32 bit or 64bit. Had one soft error when switching to SD card from phone memory but after that it's worked with no issue other than the typical 60fps bug that affects all custom ROMs.

No LTE 4G on Verizon
I started from scratch, flashed stock, upgraded, flashed the 14.1-20180430 and was pleasantly surprised that: Verizon works (Limited to 3G) and Safetynet passes without all the fuss. I don't even need Magisk to run Poke Mon - VERY NICE!!!
I'm sure this was covered before... I guess I don't fully understand why we can not use 4G LTE on CDMA. Is this even a possibility?
Also, Keyboard is crashing when trying to enter the keyboard preferences. I Googled the problem and it turns out many are having it. Have not found a way to resolve this yet. Ideas?

About:
These are my personal builds of AOSP for View 10 based on berkeley-dev trees. It's a plain Android with only a few minor changes added by me to make it more usable: better OTA packages support, some application fixes, under-the-hood improvements and kirin-specific patches. No additional system functional included.
What's working/broken:
Same as LineageOS 15.1
Installation:
Flash the latest ROM zip via recovery
Flash any other additional zip that you need

20180613:
Initial build based on android-8.1.0_r30 tag
Additional notes:
AOSP itself is bare bones and unlike LineageOS it is not very usable without gapps. Stock gapps package is preferred for the best experience, but you can use small packages too.
Compared to EMUI system may look very gigantic with stock DPI value, 420 dpi is recommended (it is used by Google on their 1080p devices). Go to dev settings and set smallest width to 411dp instead of 360dp.
This looks very promising. Thank you very much!
Will it also work with L09? Will there be OTA (security) updates?

While I didn't test it on L09, it uses same compatibility hacks as Lineage, so it should work fine here as well.
I'll keep it up-to-date with the latest AOSP tag always, so system-side security updates are guaranteed. Though device will still report vendor security patch level.

Of course it's not working.
BUT...
Using 100% of my brain i moved these files from Pixel Experience:
audio_dsp
audio_dsp_in
boot
cam_vpu1
cam_vpu1_in
cam_vpu2
cam_vpu2_in
cam_vpu3
cam_vpu3_in
vbmeta
vendor.new.dat.br
vendor.patch
vendor.transfer.list
to the .zip with HyconOS 2.0 and flashed it
and front cam is now working flawlessy.

Well done bro!!!
Does the selfie Camera work in the Pixel Experience ROM then?
EDIT:
Never mind I found the answer.
I see no public kernel commits that would fix the camera so I can only assume I they switched to using the stock kernel as I suggested way back on Android 10 I don't know if you remember me suggesting this or not.
@bigrammy yes, ZIDAN44 somehow forced stock kernel to work with AOSP.

I am on OnePlus 8 now but will still keep an eye on this device.
Very nice ROM. Months ago, I decided to go back to stock because of camera and stability, but now A11 matured a lot! Camera is decent, no problems with wifi, no lags at all. Thanks a lot!

I have a problem installing Viper4Android via Magisk. I tried to install busybox, even changing the path to /system/bin (originally it is /system/xbin), but Viper can't find busybox, so it can't install the driver. Any suggestion?
Will it work on Redmi Note 8 Pro Indian Version. Begoniain?

If it starts on my s6 edge . To fix what does not work I extracted apex/runtime from LineageOS 19.1, You should check with fakemanoan if he used any patch.
The fingerprint reader works while idle . I didn't manage to install gapps

If you want I made a newer build for Edge with most thing fixed like camera, gps, fingerprint, IMEI... For some reason wifi isn't working, and it has some storage bug but that can be fixed with flashing lineageos 19.1 kernel.

The wifiloader file is missing (system/vendor/bin/wifiloader) for that reason the wifi does not work. The file exists in the previous build (just put it and it worked).
I am testing this rom on a daily basis, with Linage19 kernel and gapps. I have to check what I did so that the apps do not close spontaneously.

Thanks for feedback. I think I will just repack the ROM with lineage kernel and wifiloader. Also have you noticed performance/smoothness difference between stock arrow and lineage kernel in newer build?

I usually use the latest Lineage kernel. The arrow kernel feels smooth, I don't know if its write problem limits some processes leaving the system less loaded.
will this Rom become a stable? Without oc but stable without crashes?

Hello guys! Installation with odin was really tricky but it works like a charm!! It is an amazing release, performance on most benchmarks conducted has doubled compared to the ancient stock ROM. The only problem was Android encryption. It works but it had never been really completed because after 8 hours it was stuck reporting 10 minutes remaining so I rebooted the device.

The stock kernel has problems, you can try with kernel from lineage OS 19.1. maybe it won't be smooth as stock, but it will be more usable.
