Notification Number on all apps not dissolved after opening perticular notification.
Still shows notification on apps.
Please solve this issue in next update.

Before any one chews my head off, I have searched the site and Google and a can’t find an answer
I am trying to see if there is way to stop my IM messages (Whatsapp,skype, google talk) from displaying the message content in the notification bar.
When I receive sensitive information I don’t want any part of the message to be displayed in the notification bar. I only want to notified that I have a new message
I have tried turning off the notifications on the notification bar but then I never know when I have a new message.
Handcent does this brilliantly with text message but I can’t seem to find a way to turn it off for Instant messages
Can anyone help?
Guess there isn't an app for everything
If there isn't a setting in the individual app then I am not sure its possible...at least in a simple way.
Contact the app developers.....for SMS I know handcent has the option to turn off the text in the notification bar.

Hello everyone.
I have an issue which could not be fixed by clean flashing my rom and several re-installs of Viber. I checked the app's settings and 'Show notifications' is ticked.
When I receive a message on viber it shows up in my status bar. After one second the notification preview disappears and the notification disappears. It is like I never received one. There is no icon in my status bar and the notification center is empty.
This problem persists even there after I completely whiped my phone, flashed the rom and had nothing but Viber installed.
This is really annoying since I often miss messages due to this bug.
Does anyone have any other things I should try to solve this? I'm using Mahdi Rom if that's of any importance.
Edit: Flashed a different ROM, problem persists
1. No visible notifications on Notif. bar for any new messages, Whatsapp, Mails etc. All these can be seen only in drop down notifications. How to get them on top of Notif. bar. SIM Status, Net Speed, Clock, Battery is only showing in top. Not New Notifications.
2. How to Enable auto call attend when connected in headset or bluetooth. Couldn't find an option.?

I have OLX app installed on the Realme1 and my old Lenovo.
I don't get notification sound nor top notification of new messages nor a badge on the app, that shows there's a new message.
I can only know of new messages when I open the app.
Even if I open the app and keep it in the background and lock it.. still I don't get notifications.any workariund for this ??
Have switched off doze also.
Great phone with ram management issues are killing the usability of this phone.

My Honor 9 is presently on build number STF-L09 8.0.0.368(C432). When i slide down the notification list to view the latest incoming notification, I noticed that all unread notifications in the pull down appear with the newest date & time stamp. So in other words if i received a message yesterday and i haven't read it as yet, any new notification that arrives will override the yesterday's notification with the newest date & time stamp. This happens to all notifications regardless of the application used (Whatsapp & Outlook seem to be the biggest culprit for myself).
I also notice that any previous outlook email notification which hasn't been read as yet will occasionally appear as a new notification with the latest date and time.
Please advise how would i go about fixing this issue as it is rather annoying .

I've been using Facebook Messenger for a long time and I am sick of dismissing its own notifications on the notification panel. This is because when you open a chat head and you actually see and read the message the notification is not getting automatically dismissed!
So here is my question:
Is there any application or any possible way I could remove its notifications but only in the notification panel? I would like to keep receiving them on the lock screen...
Any help is appreciated!
