Safely upgrade and downgrade firmware? - Samsung Galaxy J6 Questions & Answers

Basically, I finally repaired my J6 after the battery expanded some time in 2019. I noticed it was still running Android 8 with Samsung Experience 9. As much as I love Samsung Experience, I would like to see how this phone handles a more modern official version of Android, such as 9 or 10, but the problem is that I'm scared that if I flash a new software then I won't be able to downgrade back to 8. Is it possible to ever downgrade back to 8? The phone is a SM-J600FN running Android 8 (AP: J600FNXXU3ARK3, CP: J600FXXU3ARJ1, CSC: J600FNOBE3ARK3) and the carrier appears to be EE (EVR) Would someone be able to help me to select an early, more recent build of Android for it, such as 9?

[Q] Downgrade to Android 2.1 from Froyo on Samsung Galaxy 5 i5503

Hi all,
I have Samsung Galaxy 5 i5503 with Android 2.1 Eclair vesion as OS, and the mobile was bought in India. So, there was no update to Froyo from Samsung.
Recently I have upgraded it to Froyo on my own using ODIN Multi Downloader.
Details:
Model number: GT-I5500L
Android Version: 2.2
Baseband Version: I5500LUYJP2
Kernel Version: 2.6.32.9-perf [email protected] #2
Build Number: FROYO.UYJP2
I have completed the process, but have some issues like too much usage of battery (hardly stays for 1 day), bluetooth file transfer not working, some applications are not even showing but are installed and can open only through the below process
Market->My Apps->[open Application]->[click on Open]
Now, i want to downgrade ti back to Android 2.1, but could not find a way after searching in google for sometime (May be I was a bit stressed out about thinking of this issue and could concentrate on it).
I need help (steps) on downgrading or doing a fresh copy installation of Eclair on my Samsung Galaxy 5 i5503. I also need the links for downloading the original version which was given to me by Samsung earlier. I am from India.
So, please help me out. Let me know if you need any further information
Thank you,
Vamsi

Downloaded the Oreo Beta on to my Galaxy Note 8 Unable to revert back to Android N

Hello everyone noob over here,
I can't revert back from the oreo beta I downloaded online, I tried using odin, but it won't go past setup connection.
Here's all the info I can provide:
- Android 8.0.0
-Model number: SM-N950U
-Baseband Version: N950USQU2CQL1
Also, it is possibly because I am an idiot since after I downloaded it, it changed my phone from saying xfinity to verizon, but me being an idiot is besides the point. I just want my original certified version of android back please.

I need help to get back stock firmware on Honor 8

Hello guys,
Can anyone help me find the right official stock firmware for Honor 8 Dual Sim 4GB+32GB (FRD-L09), and tell me how to install it? This device is made for European Region, and it was bought in Serbia.
First owner flashed phone to Android 8.0 (EMUI 8.0). And build number is: FRD-L09 8.0.0.521(C432).
On Android 8.0, battery is draining fast, ram usage is about 2GB with no usage of apps... Im pretty sure that rom installed on this phone is fake. There must be viruses or something like that.
And yeah, sorry for my bad English, im from Serbia

Is it possible to install a new stock firmware?

Is there a way to install another (new) stock rom? I honestly don't want to root my new phone and I don't think that bootloader #7 can even be rooted (correct me if I'm wrong). I also read somewhere how only stock roms with the same bootloader number can be installed (correct me if wrong, once again).
Baseband version: G965FXXU7CSI6
Phone: Samsung galaxy S9+
Security patch: October 1st 2019
My phone came with android pie and I'd like to install oreo on it.
Thanks in advance

Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro

Hello,
I got from my GF a Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (Model Number SM-G887N, if you search for this one you will probably find A8s 2019 phone on SamMobile) with with a provider (KT) branding from Korea. This phone has currently Android 10 installed with the Build G887NKSU2CTI2. I would like to update the phone, but this didn't work on the phone directly.
So I thought about to remove the KT provider branding and install a clean Korean or European Software Build. I'm not new to flash phone (did this a few years ago, but since then a lot changed). I just wanted to ask if somebody can help me regarding the right Software and the possibility to remove the branding.
Can I remove the branding and install a clean SW from Europe/Korea? If yes, what for tools (Is ODIN enough?) and which SW would do I need? I guess there are tons of instructions but I do have a problem to figure out about the compatibility of SW and branding.
Thank you a lot
Android 10 seems like the latest version for your phone. Two OS-Updates done with that.

Hello Zentriks, thank you for the quick reply. I still get updates regarding security, same issue. Not possible to install. Apps also start to close itself after starting. This phone is a total mess. So I really would love to change the SW without any branding.
