Question Wifi calling drops calls on factory unlocked s22+ and ATT prepaid plan - Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus

I have a factory unlocked S22+ which works fine on AT&T prepaid except for wifi calling. After I enable wifi calling I can dial, and the icon indicates wifi calling is used, but after the other party picks up the phone calls are immediately dropped. Same thing happens when somebody calls me.
Also:
Disabling wifi calling solves the problem.
I use physical AT&T SIM card, not eSIM.
Messages from phone `adb logcat` make me think the issue might caused by some codec missing or disabled
Anyone has an idea why this is happening?

Hey, I had to disable VoLTE to get my wifi calls going.

Interesting... I do not have any VoLTE settings at all!!!

Is your phone factory unlocked? I am reading up on internet and some folks report that unlocked S22+ has no volte

Not unlocked, but European Exynos if that has any significance.

I think the issue is specific to only factory unlocked snapdragon s22+ (model SM-s906U1)

Anyone get LTE working AT&T/tmobile

Just got my Tmobile variant unlocked and using on AT&T. Only getting 4G. I've seen users having the same issue. Has anyone got LTE working? I've tried numerous APN's from AT&T as well as other suggestions and still nothing. Thanks in advance for any help.
Yes I have lte working on cricket(att). I have attached some screen shots.

I have a T-Mobile phone as well, and I had a more complicated problem getting mine to work. First thing's first - make sure you have your phone properly activated at an AT&T retail store, which is to say you can't have hotswapped the SIM; it needs to be tied to your IMEI. If it still doesn't work, make sure you're using the nxtgenphone APN. If you still have no luck, maybe you have the same problem as me. On AT&T's end, for some bizarre reason, my IMEI got registered as one that could not support LTE, so my line didn't get provisioned for it. I kept calling back, but no one could figure out how to change my provisioning. Finally I got a rep who tried something out of the box. He generated a "dummy" IMEI number for me, one that would be seen on the system as one that supports LTE, and registered that to my line. Lo and behold, that did the trick. I called Technical Support for this (you can ask to be transfered to that department if you call AT&T), so you might have to go through that - the good news is, it was rather quick, and I didn't have to get a new SIM card for it.

Please see this guide: Link
By flashing mbn file, you can access full functionalities your carrier provided (except Rogers, fido, chatr, cityfone). However, due to band differences, please don't expect full speed 5G internet in Canada on this phone. From my test, Rogers 5G is slower than its LTE on my BC72 (it's not the internet issue because I tested on an iPhone).
I checked online about the band information for the US version of Xperia 1 iii, all the 5G bands in Canada are supported so technically you can have a better experience than me.

Question call recording on google pixel 6

is there any solution to google pixel call recording on android 13?
assuming you're talking about enabling such functionality, you're likely gonna need root:
if you wanna use the call recorder hidden in the default phone app, you can install the GoogleDialerMod, which also comes with a looong list of other flags to modify the phone app with.

alternatively, if you wanna go the third-party route, i personally use Basic Call Recorder and it works flawlessly.
...though, if you want more control over recordings, you can instead install SKVALEX's Call Recorder, but it may require you to pay up.
@dizzota nice app, (GoogleDialerMod), but...do you know any solution for enabling VoLTE and VoWiFi for unsuported carriers? Thank you!

sadly, no i'm based in the United States using the T-Mobile network, so i've never had an issue with VoLTE or Wi-Fi calling. i'm sure you'll probably find what you're looking for though! just takes a bit of searching.

I have tried every method that i've found here, on xda, or from another forums. The only result was that the menu for VoLTE and VoWiFi was present and can be activated, but still not working
