Rooted phone but want to go back to stock rom

Okay so i rooted my Samsung Galaxy express to jelly bean 4.2.2 using the method below.
but i cant access Samsung kies because it doesn't recognize rooted phones. So i was wondering if there was any way to keep the rooted features but go back to the stock rom? And if there is how do i do it and where do i get the file from?
Flash Clockwork Recovery
1. Download Express OUDHS CWM.exe.
2. Turn off the phone
3. Press and hold volume down and power to enter download mode (if this doesn’t work, press and hold volume down, power and home key)
4. Connect your phone to your computer via USB
5. Window ID: COM should be highlighted in yellow, this means your phone was properly detected
6. Press start and wait for installation
7. Disconnect your phone, recovery is now installed
Install SuperSU
1. Download SuperSU v1.25
2. Connect your phone to your computer via USB
3. Copy the SuperSU v1.25 file to the root of your SD card (make sure you have an SD card in your phone)
4. Turn off your phone
5. Hold volume up, power and home key to enter recovery (as soon as you see blue text on the top of the screen that read entering or booting recovery, immediately release all the buttons)
6. Click on install zip from SD card and locate SuperSU file
7. Select the SuperSU file and install
8. After installation is complete, reboot your phone
You will now have both custom recovery and SuperSU installed on your phone, which allows you to install custom ROM’s, which is the next step. (Make sure USB debugging is still enabled). Please note that these versions of CM10.1 and CM10.2 are unofficial builds, however are stable enough as daily drivers.
1. Download CM10.1(Android 4.2.2) or CM10.2(Android 4.3)
2. Download Gapps (Google Apps) for CM10.1 or Gapps for CM10.2
3. Connect your phone to your computer via USB and place ROM and Gapps files in root of SD card (make sure they are on SD card)
4. Download ROM Manager and reboot into recovery. You can also manually reboot into recovery by powering off your phone, pressing and holding volume up, power and home key.
5. Create a backup.
6. Wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache partition and dalvik cache (found in advanced)
7. Install the ROM from the SDCard
8. Install Gapps from the SDCard
9. Reboot phone and let it sit for a few minutes while it boots for the first time. It may take a few minutes, and this is only evident upon initial boot.
You will likely run into issues with non functional WiFi. To resolve this, after flashing the ROM, follow these simple steps:
1. Download this file.
2. Power off the phone.
3. Hold volume down, power and home button to enter download mode.
4. Press volume up to enter download mode.
5. Connect phone to your computer
6. Open Odin and flash the downloaded file as Bootloader (You should see a green box that indicates that the method passed and worked)
7. Reboot the phone and test WiFI
Why do you actually need Kies for?

[GUIDE] All steps necessary to install a custom ROM / MOD from scratch

Here I share the steps that worked for me (G973F) to install a custom ROM/MOD.
01. Download ASF3 and flash it through Odin (or the last one compatible with the ROM or MOD you wish to use).
02. Install Magisk Manager from here.
03. Extract AP and copy it to SDCard.
04. Open Magisk Manager, press Install and patch AP. It will generate a magisk_patched.rar on \internal storage\download.
05. Copy magisk_patched.rar to your computer.
06. Reboot your phone to download mode.
07. Flash magisk_patched.tar as AP in ODIN, together with the BL, CP and HOME_CSC files. Important: Uncheck “Auto Reboot” in Options!
08. Unplug USB cable, press Power + Volume Down to exit download mode. As soon as the screen turns off, immediately press Power + Bixby + Volume Up to boot to recovery partition and continue pressing the volume up button until you see the stock recovery screen.
09. In the stock recovery menu select Wipe data/factory reset to wipe the data of the device.
10. Select Reboot system now, and immediately press Power + Bixby + Volume Up. After seeing the bootloader warning screen, release all buttons.
11. The device will automatically reboot for the first time it boots, this is completely normal and done by design.
12. After the device is booted up, do the usual initial setup. The following steps will need internet connection.
13. You shall see Magisk Manager in your app drawer; if not, manually install it again and continue to the next step. The app would be a stub and it shall automatically upgrade to the full Magisk Manager when you open it.
14. Magisk Manager will ask to do additional setups. Let it do its job and the app will automatically reboot your device.
15. Download TWRP from here and copy twrp_ianmacd.img to your SDCard.
16. Open Magisk Manager, press Install and patch twrp_ianmacd.img from the step before. It will generate a magisk_patched.img on \internal storage\download.
17. Copy magisk_patched.img to your computer and rename it to recovery.img
18. In your computer open magisk_patched.rar with 7-zip, remove recovery.img and then add recovery.img from previus step to magisk_patched.rar.
19. Reboot your phone to download mode.
20. Flash magisk_patched.tar as AP in ODIN, the rest of the fields remains blank. Important: Uncheck “Auto Reboot” in Options!
21. Unplug USB cable, press Power + Volume Down to exit download mode. As soon as the screen turns off, immediately press Power + Bixby + Volume Up to boot to recovery partition and continue pressing the volume up button until you see the stock recovery screen.
22. Now you are in TWRP Recovery, format Data and then reboot to recovery.
23. After the device is booted up, do the usual initial setup. The following steps will need internet connection.
24. You shall see Magisk Manager in your app drawer; if not, manually install it again and continue to the next step. The app would be a stub and it shall automatically upgrade to the full Magisk Manager when you open it.
25. Magisk Manager will ask to do additional setups. Let it do its job and the app will automatically reboot your device.
26. Download the ROM / MOD of your choice to your phone SDCard.
27. Reboot your phone, as soon as the screen turns off, immediately press Power + Bixby + Volume Up to boot to recovery partition and continue pressing the volume up button until you see the stock recovery screen.
28. Once you are in TWRP install the ROM / MOD of your choice but don't debloat (if the ROM / MOD has this option).
29. Once install finishes don't reboot, go to TWRP and reboot to Recovery.
30. After the device is booted up, do the usual initial setup. The following steps will need internet connection.
31. After that you can boot to TWRP and install the ROM /MOD again debloating what you want, again if the ROM / MOD has the option.
As an advice, I don't recommend to debloat Chrome.
I hope that this can help someone
Thank you so much, that's very helpful indeed!
If I just want to have magisk in my stock rom without twrp, I should only follow steps 1-14?

Yes, it's the same.
In the step 18 you should take magisk_patched.rar from step 5 and replace recovery.img with the patched one in step 16 (previusly renamed)

Sorry but in step 4, it generate a magisk_patched.tar instead of .rar....

No, something its wrong. When you patch the AP (.tar.md5) file with Magisk, it should generate a "magisk_patched.tar" file in \internal storage\download\
Please check if you are using the correct Magisk Manager from https://github.com/ianmacd/MagiskBuilds
I got stuck in step 21.
"Press Power + Volume Down to exit download mode. As soon as the screen turns off, immediately press Power + Bixby + Volume Up to boot to recovery partition and continue pressing the volume up button until you see the stock recovery screen."
always green screen Downloading at this step no way out.
the 3 buttons combo not bring me TWRP.

First you must keep pressing Power + Volume Down buttons until you get out of Download Mode and your phone shuts down, after that immediately you must press Power + Bixby + Volume Up to boot to Recovery and continue pressing the volume up button until you see the stock recovery screen.
I hope it helps!
Great guide, just missed it though as am already sorted but this is it!:good:
Any chance of putting a bullet point on each step? Would be a lil easier to read. (Sorry for being picky lol)

Huawei Mate X ROM MOD?
I am planning to flash Lineage OS 17 on my S10e, is the guide still relevant or is there an updated version?
> 20. Flash magisk_patched.tar as AP in ODIN, the rest of the fields remains blank. Important: Uncheck “Auto Reboot” in Options!
In the official magisk installation guide is stated:
Reboot to download mode, and flash magisk_patched.tar as AP in Odin, together with the BL, CP and HOME_CSC files. Never flash only an AP file, as Odin can shrink your /data file-system if you do.
Important: Uncheck “Auto Reboot” in Options!
I dont know if it can cause problems..

[Guide] Samsung M30 Recovery (TWRP) and Root (Magisk) - Detailed Redux

Summary - After two weeks of research (mostly on XDA) I took the risk and decided to root my new Samsung M30. Suffice to say I was extremely apprehensive given numerous reports of bootloops, recurring seven day OEM device locks, crashes, hangs and general instability. After following specific steps that combine several sources, I successfully rooted my device. Moreover, key root applications are all working well (AFWall+ Firewall, AdAway, Root Explorer)! This guide shows what I did.

Unlock Bootloader
Ensure you are using the correct device and OS version for your Samsung M30.
From Settings, tap About phone then Software information.
One UI Core 1.1
Android verion 9 (aka Pie)
If you have Android version 10 (aka Q), you need to downgrade the OS, which is beyond the scope of this thread. Essentially, you have to download your specific ROM (that matches your country and baseband) and use Odin3 to flash it.
Enable Developer Options.
From Settings, tap About phone then Software information .
Tap Build Number seven times. Developer Options should now be visible from Settings
From Settings, tap Developer Options
Check (enable) OEM Unlocking.
You are prompted and warned about a Factory reset. It is assumed you have no important data on the phone (or have made an appropriate backup on external SD card). Accept data erasure. Phone will reboot on its own.
Power up phone. It is like new and needs setup from scratch. After your usual setup steps ....
From Settings, tap Developer Options
Check (enable) USB debugging.
Check (enable) OEM Unlocking.
Power off your phone. Press side power button then select Power off twice when presented. Do not wander or tap on other functions of your phone; power off immediately. This is critical to unlocking the bootloader.
If option for OEM Unlocking is not present, your phone is locked. Here are several options to try.
From Settings, tap Software Update the tap Download and install.
Wait till phone complains and rejects your command due to unauthorized modification.
From Settings, tap Developer Options and check if OEM Unlocking is present. If so, check (enable) it then immediately power off as described above.
Flash TWRP and Root
From your PC, extract Odin. Navigate to its folder.
Right click executable and select 'Run as administrator'.
From Odin, click Options tab and uncheck 'Auto Reboot' option.
From Odin, click AP button. Navigate to where to saved the recovery.tar file.
From Odin's dialog box, select recovery.tar file then click Open button.
Power up phone in stock recovery mode.
With phone off, simultaneously press Volume Up and Power button until Samsung logo appears.
From phone's stock recovery mode.
Use Volume Down button to highlight 'Reboot to bootloader '.
Press power button. You are now in download mode.
Connect Type-C USB cable to phone and PC.
Odin will acknowledge connection with 'ID:COM' update and will be highlighted.
From Odin, click Start button and wait for SUCCESS indicator.
Disconnect USB cable.
Reboot phone into TWRP. This is critical and the trickiest part of all.
From phone, press Volume Down + Power button until it blacks out.
Immediate press Volume Up + Power button until TWRP appears.
From TWRP, "Swipe to Allow Modifications'.
From TWRP, tap Home key (on phone) for TWRP main menu.
Tap Wipe button.
Tap Format Data. Then, type 'yes' for data format. Tap 'enter' keyboard button.
Wait till 'Data Format Complete'.
From TWRP, tap Home key (on phone) for TWRP main menu.
Tap Mount button.
Ensure that System, data, cache and Micro SD card are mounted.
From TWRP, tap Home key (on phone) for TWRP main menu.
Tap Reboot button.
Tap Recovery button.
Swipe to 'Install TWRP App'. TWRP rebbots itself.
From TWRP, tap Home key (on phone) for TWRP main menu.
Tap Mount button.
Ensure that System, data, cache and Micro SD card are mounted.
Tap Select Storage button.
Tap Micro SD card. Tap OK.
From TWRP, tap Home key (on phone) for TWRP main menu.
Tap Install button.
Select RMM_Bypass_v3_corsicanu.zip.
Swipe to confirm Flash.
From TWRP, tap Home key (on phone) for TWRP main menu.
Tap Install button.
Select no-verity-opt-encrypt-6.1.zip.
Swipe to confirm Flash. Disregard error message if any.
From TWRP, tap Home key (on phone) for TWRP main menu.
Tap Install button.
Select Magisk-v20.0.zip.
Swipe to confirm Flash.
From TWRP, tap Home key (on phone) for TWRP main menu.
Tap Reboot button.
Tap System button.
The System reboot can take a few minutes and may seem like an eternity. Just be patient. The phone will again be like new and you will have to setup everything from scratch. Later, install Magisk Manager from Google Play.
Enjoy
