Question Bank apps crash - Asus Zenfone 9

Hello, I have a problem with my Zenfone that I don't know how to solve. My banking applications crash so I cannot enter any banking application from my mobile, giving me the consequent problems.
I have tried to:
- clear cache and storage of the apk
-uninstall and install apk
-restore to factory version
The phone has the latest August patch.
I don't know how I can solve that problem. Could someone help?
Thank you!

I'm not root.
I think it's all a system problem. I have downloaded the firmware to do a clean install from the Zenfone stock recovery but the zenfone recovery does not allow to erase everything and install from the device.
If someone knows how to install the firmware without having the phone unlocked, can you help me.
Thanks again

I dont have this device

problem with encryption

Hello
My device is encrypted for getting mails from corporate exchange server.
Few days ago I've un installed the samsung keyboard.
Today when I rebooted the device it asked for the password as usual, but no keyboard is displayed, thus I cannot enter the code...
Any ideas?
Thank you in advanced.
Regards,
Zlicha
Try downloading and installing the Default Keyboard. If that doesn't work you may need to wipe data/cache and reflash your ROM.
not possible

thank you for your reply, but i cannot install anything as the device is still locked.
I think there is no choice than reflash the rom. Do you think it is possible reflashing a different rom than mine? (of course after wipe).
What do you mean by locked? You should be able to install an apk. Just go to System Settings > Security and allow installation from Unknown Sources. Yea you can install custom ROMs.
no login

since the device is encrypted, I am stucked on the login screen where I supposed to type the password.
I'm not able going into the setting menu.
OK. Just flash a stock ROM through Odin.
Bugger - not familiar with the encryption system. Can u get the phone into recovery mode without entering a password? If so u can install an apk from your sd card...

[Q] Google Services and Play installs, but not working

Hi all,
I 'formated' my S3 i9300 with LiquidSmooth last week with help from a friend. He had to download and install CWM 6.0.4.6/7 in order to get LS installed properly. He did a wipe, but my old files are still available.
Gapps did not install standard, and thus I downloaded and installed Gapps (not flashed). But Google Play and Services does not want to start or run on the phone.
Could anybody please assist with a fix or run around? (I will not have a problem in having to flash the phone again, but would like that to be my last option)

From my experience gapps have to be installed into the system with the right permission, so what you should do is download a Gapps package for your rom version and flash it, unless you want to download all apks manually and set the permissions manually on your phone, which would just result in a lot of more work and trouble.
Just boot into recovery mode (volume up + power + home), install zip and locate the gapps package. You don't have to wipe anything other than cache and dalvik cache. So you won't have to reinstall anything. I hope I could help!
My apologies all!
Originally, I found news articles that the S3 is not compatible with Android KitKat.
But then I found out that I was trying to install Gapps incorrectly. You install Gapps via Recovery boot, and do not flash or wipe the handset.
Spread the word!

[Q] STUCK at cyanogenmod logo

Ok , Im running CM 13 i9300 and it worked so well except the camera. I always got the error "Can't connect to camera" . So I was trying to fix that problem and I found couple of solution . The solution need an app that requires SuperSU permission . And It was kinda weird because there's no "permission asking" popup from SuperSU. So I open SuperSU and it told me to update SuperSU binary file. So I tried to update it and it failed. So I tried to update it manually but I found other thing which is to flash the latest version of SuperSU direct from chainfire website. I deleted the old SuperSU (The one that needs to be updated) and I flashed the new SuperSU zip and wipe dalvik cache through my TWRP Recovery and then I reboot my phone . And got stuck at the Cyanogenmod Logo . So what should I do to get my phone back to normal ? I mean back to CM13 and everything I have before. PLS HELP
Note : actually , after I flashed CM 13 . I dont have the SuperSU in my apps . So I manually downloaded it from the playstore . It's weird because it should automatically be there .

I seriously dunno about the root access at the developer settings . Now my phone is soft bricked and I'm gonna lose all of my data. Any clue on how to reflash the CM13 without deleting my stuff?(factory reset)
p/s : Yes , It's in the Developer settings
Boot into TWRP and reflash the same version of CM that was on the phone before it soft-bricked.

Should I clear data , wipe cache and dalvik , factory reset all that or just go to TWRP and just flash
You could just flash over the existing ROM without wiping. If it doesn't boot, wipe cache. If it still doesn't boot, wipe data and cache.

redmi note 4 google services probleme even after flash

Hi,
"Xiaomi Redmi note 4 SnapDragon 3G/32G"
I'm facing a problem with google services that all the time stop working.
I tried to flash my phone using fastboot method using lastet global Rom or laster devloper ROM (MIUI 10), but still had the same problém.
I've also tied to downgrade for MIUI 8 and still has the same problem.
on the flash tool i've selected clean all and tried flash factory, clean and lock, but none of these solve the problem.
I've used the flash method described on the flash guide on XIAOMI official website.
i've also tried to instal open gapps - pico - arm64 - android 7.0 using twrp recovery, but still has the same problem.
can any one help please ?

You can unlock your bootloader and install a custom recovery (TWRP for example) wich provide an option to wipe Dalvik Cache only (and not everything). If it still isn't working you can try dirty flashing /system to fix it.

You need a custom recovery to flash it. There was a way to flash TWRP without unlocking (but I can't find it anymore) and I don't recommend doing it since it's a bad idea to do things like that without a way to fix if you do things wrong. I really recommend you to unlock it since it doesn't cost anything and doesn't void your warranty and after flashing twrp you can flash the stock recovery back (to get OTA, etc) and even relock the bootloader.
Or can you still acces the systemUpdate zone ? If yes you can click on the three dots on the right-up corner and click on download update and click update once it's downloaded. It will not erase anything but it will "reflash" partitions like system and also wipe cache.
EDIT : Actually I don't think you need to go into recovery mode. Erasing the app data in settings -> apps or systemApps -> [appName] -> storage -> clear cache/clear all data
Download MIUI again and install it. Do it from System Update.

Unlocking bootloader will erase your app data either way. No additional steps are needed.

I tried flashing update zip from system update
But after update. Still apps are crashing
What about Storage ----> Cleaner. I don't have this issue myself. You've got this phone for few days, i would format it.
