Imho should be asked in the device specific forum.
Might help to specify the device name (N960...) to get an answer.

No need to be sorry.

Bless to me .
What version is the O.S.? Which carrier is this branded to or is it unbranded?
Dan
The filename is:
RUU_Radiant_Cingular_US_1.18.502.01_Radio_8k_2180_20120120_Signed_RELEASE
I have just downloaded it, will upload to another host.
MIRROR ADDED:
Code:
https://rapidshare.com/files/3181749973/RUU_Radiant_Cingular_US_1.18.502.01_Radio_8k_2180_20120120_Signed_RELEASE.rar
In order to install Stock ROM to your AT&T Tiatan II, you have to enter bootloader mode:
1. Turn off your device
2. Turn on your device, when you see the white screen press POWER + VOL UP + VOL DOWN
3. In the middle of the screen it says "SERIAL"
4. Connect your Titan II via usb to your pc (Zune should NOT be running)
5. Wait until in the middle of the screen of the phone says "USB"
6. Run the RUU file and wait until the ROM is fully installed.
THIS WILL WIPE ALL YOUR DATA!
OK, excuse the dumb question... how do I tell if this is useful to me? I know I can look on my "About" page for version numbers - but which ones does this refer to? None of the ones listed seem to match the format of the ROM file name.
Is this a Radio update, which is implied by the name, or a ROM update, which is implied by the directions?
Thanks in advance,
AJ
P.S. clearly, i need to update my .sig

No, only 0409.
Possible install CABs thence.
New here, what is this update for? Stock? huh?
Planning on getting T2 also but wanting to wait for WP8.
OK, well now I come to look again, the filename makes more sense. Yeah, that is a weird Radio version - but it's an earlier SPL than I have on my device - the ROM dates from January 20th this year....
If anyone wants to educate me about how to rip a ROM off a phone (IDK if that's even possible) I would be happy to try...
OK, so someone downloads this RUU, reverse engineers it and mods the bits...I appreciate this is a very basic way of looking at it.
Someone do me a favor and point me at some details about why you need an HSPL to load a custom ROM? I assume it's so you don't have to go the trouble of certifying/signing the ROM image so the SPL will accept it?
I should be talking to DFT ....
I'm gonna do some digging of my own and see where it gets me. I used to do this stuff for a living a while back....

[Q] A Quick Easy Question? [SOLVED]

Need a quick answer. Long story short: I rooted my Phone with CF-Root>Want to Un-root>Found a firmware (XXEMA2)>Downloaded it but, I am not sure that it's the right version for my GT-19300?>I typed *#1234# *To check my firmware*>It displays:
Version:
AP: 19300XXEMA2
CP: 19300XXELLA *Or was it this?*
CSC: 19300JVEMA1
So...Did i downloaded its official firmware or it was the (XEELLA) firmware i should have downloaded? Sorry for the english, English is not my first language. I just wanted to make sure, That i have downloaded the right version for my "Samsung Galaxy S3 (GT-I9300)" and would it be safe to flash it with this firmware, I downloaded? Thank you for taking your time for answering my question. It will be much appreciated.

But "Region" matters, right? I download this firmware because i couldn't find (XXELLA) Firmware [Region: Pak]. So i did some research but, I only found this firmware which was from my Region. So would it be safe to flash this firmware or should i find the (XXELLA) Firmware for my S3 (GT-I9300)? *Which i can't seem to find*. Thanks for quick response.

Region doesn't matter, only if you want ota updates you need a matching region and csc if I am not wrong. But anyway you can flash any new version via Odin as well, hence I wouldn't bother with it.

First of all. For someone who is looking for help your tone is offensive and discouraging to those that might be able to help. If the question is indeed so simple as you ask then why are you asking the question in the first place.
Second of all, the reason people ask you to look at sammobile is because you can select the region that you are in and/or bought the handset from and would be able to check for yourself if you have indeed downloaded the correct firmware for Pakistan.
Sammobile is down at the minute and will be back up at any minute. They Tweeted this 20minutes ago.

I apologise if i have misunderstood what you have wrote but it is just how what you have wrote comes across.
Anyway, was your phone branded or unbranded when you bought it?
I have just had a think aswell. If you want to revert to complete stock unrooted, you could do it using kies firmware/update utility under tools. If you type the model as GT-I9300 and enter your device serial number (under battery, not imei) and connect your phone in download mode, kies will flash the correct firmware that that device shipped with.
I would help with the correct version but sammobile is still down and that is the site to help pinpoint the correct version details which you are asking for.

Here is the firmware information for a stock unbranded Pakistan GT-I9300. This is what would have been shipped on the device when it was manufactured.
Product Code: GT-I9300MBDPAK
Version: Android 4.0.4
HIDSWVER: I9300XXALE9/I9300OJVALE9/I9300XXLE8/I9300XXALE9
I can not find the latest update for your region atm. But this firmware would be the right one for your region.

In the link I've posted if you search you wok find a link to Pakistan firmware. If your device is a Pakistan unbranded Rom then that file will restore a complete stock system.
Before you flash, turn off your phone and hold volume dwn, home and power. Then press the up arrow once in download mode. Look at the Flash count abs make sure it's 0 or reads stock or official next to the status. If it doesn't reboot your phone and use triangle away which is in the forum and remove the Flash count. Then Flash your rom via odin.

btw I9300 bootloader is not locked but do read the stickies as it is a different device than all american and several other sgs3 variants

i scoured this place but i cant find a way to know the bootloader status i found out that xoom is locked and some xperia devices and that i can determine the bootloader status by the time it take on the boot screen but this doesnt sound very accurate is there a code to put it in the dial pad ?
Bootloader is irrelevant, it's a separate operating system that plays no part in recovery or rom.

actually the verizon sgs3 does have a locked bootloader. so it is not always the manufacturer that makes the decisions. in the us the carriers have much more input especially in regards to updates. att just recently began updates to 4.12.
have a look at this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1756338 they are all samsung galaxy s 3 but none are identical . some are exynos , some are snapdragon. ram , video boards, radios all different variants. that is why it is important to know your device
All the US versions are the same hardware... Besides Radio related stuff...

Ok a friend S3 started acting up I didn't back up so I lost anything
When I tried to put back the original firmware on the phone using Odin for no reason at all will it be installed. It will just stick on Nand writing in the bottom part of the screen and nothing on tp part of the screen that would usually show FIL, PASS etc.
Next thing with some other firmwares the blue loading bar on the phone will go to basically 100% but nothing will happen on the phone
I did get on 2 firmwares, one just kept booting to the Samsung logo then go in a revolving boot sequence with the animation coming up, the other firmware I got on seems like it belonged to some other phone company and after their boot screen comes up and the Samsung's logo come on the screen it will just stay there.
In both cases the phone was left after installation on both screens for hours with no success.
All I want to do is put back on the 4.12 JB T mobile version enter unlock code and give back to my friend
Can I get some assistance please thanks

Take out the battery and post the model number here.
Factory reset to get past the forever spinning Samsung logo. The Odin fails are probably due to incorrect firmware.

thanks

You should stick to that forum before someone doesn't read this thread and answers with a link to our firmware which will brick your device.
It should be in there somewhere. Did you read the stickies? Like aerowinder said, all tour future questions need to be posted in that forum. We know very little about your device here.
You can find all samsung firmware at samsung-updates.com

Well that forum is specifically for your device. Use what you find in this forum and youre destined for a brick.
If you were to ask this question there you would get answers from people who are familiar with the device you have. Ours is very different.

Ok thanks got you, have a good one. so the devices are soo similar still very different?

According to this you are working on an International i9300 S3 I will move your thread to the correct forum as to not confuse other users here, or have someone here give you the wrong links to software that may brick your device.
Thread moved.
The op can post what the problem is here please if its an I9300 .
I9300 Basics read first.

What is it you would like to do? Keep it stock or root it?
start into recovery and do FactoryReset & WipeCache
Did that several times.. still stuck on the logo...

Maybe rooted, just so that I can flash a good stock custom rom... that is debloated, deoxed, good battery, camera etc...I may need suggestion wirh that one too....
I really appreciate u guys replying. .. thnx
You have bigger problems to solve first.
Go to sammobile.com and download the latest stock firmware for your own country.
Follow the instructions on how to flash with odin.
If the flash works then factory reset in recovery, before you try to boot.
If the flash fails then you may find the reason it suddenly stopped working.
Thank u for your response.
Thats the main problem I have. The phone is being used in Ghana now. I could have checked if could get to at lest the screen.
How can I check for the country when the fone wont get me to the screen. On top of that... its stocked and not rooted!
Root is not needed for flashing stock firmware.
Original country is irrelevant, use your own.
Okay sir, will proceed and get back to u...I appreciate the suggestions.
Once you have done what @boomboomer has said then we can help you with rooting and rom's, that is if you still want to root it.

Firmware MUST coincide with the original one, otherwise possibly bricking.

but I dont know the original firmware that came with it. What I do know is that.... its never been rooted or flashed before when bought
Go to a SamsungStore. Perhaps they can find out the country-code by the codes on the label behind the battery. But perhaps there are still other&better idea's...

No, this isn't true.
Only the model number of firmware must match the phone to avoid brick. CSC makes no difference and even region lock is irrelevant, if it worked in that country before.
Make sure you understand details yourself before advising others, although you did no harm in this case.

Okay I got it working one 4.3....thanx so much everyone. Now I wanna root and find a Rom that gives me max battery life...close to the stock as possible and also better camera quality. Also debloated....
Suggestion: NCS-ROM 8.1
Use it since 1 year and return always after trying another rom.
Thank you...will try that one too....am open to other suggestions too.... Roms close to stock but optimized for speed, debloated and very stable.
