Internal memory problem

Good day everyone, today was using my phone normally all of a sudden I was editing a word document in my phone and when I tried to save changes it wouldnt let me cause I dont have enough memory left, checked my internal memory and out of 11.5 gb I had 0 left even when Ive only used 3 gb of that memory. Thought it was a problem I could solve by rebooting but even after that the phone shows the same memory available,
connected it to my pc to try and fix errors but the option wont show when I access the memory and when trying to copy files it takes ages, my question is if I format the sd through the android menu, would there be a problem ?? since Im rooted and using paranoid android 2.54 dont know if any necesary files are in there and what would it cause if I delete them.
If this helps at all I got a 1.97 gb memory for system, 11.5 internal memory and an external sd card of 32 gb, the 11.5 one is the only one not working.
Any suggestions are welcome thanks a lot

formatting the internal sd wont effect your system. But back up your data to your pc and format

How to root my Xperia M4? And how to use external memory as internal memory?

Hey guys, my phone has literally only got 400MB of internal memory left and I wanted to do something about it.
Apparently in order for me to use my external memory (micro-sd) card, I'll need to root my Android device first.
How do I root my Xperia M4 Aqua - 8GB? I have checked and it does indeed have a unlocked bootloader (don't know what that is but apparently that's good) and how can I root it so it doesn't get bricked? I don't want to use any customized ROM or anything as I heard that you can get bricked via that. I just want to root it, nothing else.
And after rooting, how do I use my micro-sd card as internal memory on the phone? Thanks!
Hello!
Follow this guide to get ROOT; http://forum.xda-developers.com/m4-aqua/general/tut-blu-twrp-root-xperia-m4-aqua-t3238962
I use link2sd to link apps to SD card.
You have to make two partitions on The sd card.
Google link2sd and you will find plenty of guides
Good luck
Another thing worth mentioning is that Android Marshmallow has support for merging your SD card and internal memory into one, meaning that the SD card will literally become an extension of the internal memory. However, you'd have to wait for the Marshmallow update for your Xperia M4 aqua for that..which will most likely arrive early next year.

Marshmallow SD Card Issue after reformat phone

Dear all, I was trying to root my Lenovo A7000 Plus someday but I've messed up with the phone and sent for warranty. They revert my phone back to Lollipop ROM and I managed to update the phone to 6.0 once I received my phone back.
Before the phone was faulty (running Marshmallow 6.0), the SD card was reformatted as Internal Storage.
The problem now is that the phone could not recognise the SD after the phone was reformatted.
Please HELP and Thankss!!

Strange SD Card behavior

Hi all,
I really need some help/advice/etc. I've switched from my 32gb SD-Card to a 64gb, well just stuff people normally do. Unfortunately my phone (Lenovo K50-t5) is now forcing me to decide between portable and internal storage mode. I've tried both, but non of them works the way I want them to work. Unfortunately I've formated my 32gb SD and am unable to make it work again (also being forced to chose one of these modes). I've tried several ROMs by now and all have the same behavior.
Does anyone have an idea how to use FAT, exFAT formatted SD on Android MM?

Unable to move apps to SD Card (Samsung Galaxy J5 SM-500FN)

Well i think my SD Card is acting strangely since i did the new marshmallow update
When i was still running with 5.1.1 Lollipop i was able to move all apps to sd card with no problems at all,
i did a factory reset to get rid of the root and then updated to marshmallow 6.0.1 and at first i could move apps to sd card normally like i used to do with the lollipop and everything was fine until i restarted the phone, when the phone restarted all apps that were on sd card were greyed out with a small sd card icon bellow each one and when i tap on it it says app not probably installed i knew this was a common problem and leaving the phone for a few minutes would restore it but i left my phone unused for 3 hours and apps remained greyed out so i deleted them and redownloaded them again for play store but this time when i tried to move them it would say not enough space on sd card although there is 6 gbs of free space i thought maybe some leftovers from those apps still remained so i formatted my sd card 2 time once with the android and another time from my laptop ...nothing changed still cant move apps to sd card ...and on plus on that when i connect my phone to my laptop it only reads the internal storage it doesnt show the sd card as if it isnt there
any suggestions?? Any help would be appreciated and sorry for my bad English
Update: i tried formatting sd card again but nothing changed still the same problem any suggestions???
