Question Oneplus Ace Pro genshin Impact chinese version. - OnePlus 10T 5G

Looking to get the new Oneplus Ace Pro with the Genshin theme. Can I put google services on it and keep the Genshin theme? I see on giztop that they sell one with Google services the theme and OTA updates.
OnePlus Ace Pro Genshin Impact Edition
6.7-inches 120Hz AMOLED Full HD+ display. Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, with Adreno 730 GPU. Rear triple-cameras: 50MP+8MP+2MP, a 16MP selfie camera. 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. 4800mAh battery, 150W SuperVOOC fast charging. Package includes: Walnut stickers, Walnut painting...
www.giztop.com
How do they do that? I am working in China so I can pick one up for cheap, half of what Giztop wants. I know I can probably flash to a global rom but I would lose all the preloaded themes. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks

All you do to add Google Services to a OnePlus Chinese firmware phone is go to APK Pure or APK Mirror and install Play Store.
Install Google Play service on Chinese Android Phone (XiaoMi, HuaWei, OnePlus, Oppo, Vivo) - TEK-Shanghai
Google service has been banned in China For a long time, so does the Google Play store for Android phones. But on the market, either you going to buy iPhone

I did this myself on my 9 when I installed the Chinese firmware on it. As soon as I opened up the Play Store app, it prompted me to log in and configured Google Services.

Thanks I'll think I'll give it a try. Was just worried getting the phone and being stuck with just Chinese app stuff

That's a reasonable concern for sure. Unless something has changed since the 9 series though, it really should be just this simple.

Flyme out of the market, stay in China in the rest of the world we don't want you.

Flyme wake up once and collaborate with Google once and update. This I am going to tell you already knew for a long time and take Flyme 7 with Nougat ("new Meizu 15"). As of this same month of April all the mobiles that want to have Google applications officially must use Android 8.0 Oreo or a higher version.
This decision has already said that Google would implement it but we have not seen it yet, it will prevent the use of its apps on non-certified devices, something that many Chinese brands do. You have to have a ROM and register our Chinese phones or in the future, we will not be able to use Google Play applications.
Google :good:
Meizu why don't you use Android Pure or Android One on all your phones ?. I like your phones, but it kills me that they aren't updated and that you have blocked the bootloader, give us freedom!
meizu is going to have a tragic end, in the past they make good phones.,..
mx4, mx4 pro, pro 5 and even the newest pro 6 plus are very good
but the rest of the models are just crap
crap camera, crap flyme, crap bugs, crap slow updates, crap android 6.1 in 2018
lol
dont buy meizu again, they dont care

Shall I wait for Global Model?

I want to buy this tablet, but I am concerned about it's Chinese nature.
I know it doesn't come with Play Store, which makes it a non Google Play certified device. Also, it bundles a ton of pre-installed Chinese apps, which are useless to me.
What do you guys think? Would just flashing the Global ROM solve everything for me?
EDIT: I don't care about LTE
Get the cheapest one. You can install the play store manual easily. Take a look at http://en.miui.com/thread-724110-1-1.html and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izlSUCbQ63o
Not sure if this is the best offer but you can buy one at geekbuying with the 10% voucher ADNDROIDPC for about 190€ (smallest version). I am waiting for the LTE Version, also i am looking for the 4GB RAM version.
I'll wait for the international version. This has more than one reason:
- official language support (German is not supported in the Chinese ROM)
- the hope for widevine certification (which isn't present on the Chinese model -> no Netflix support for example)
- the price should drop a bit until they release the international version)

- official language support (German is not supported in the Chinese ROM) -> you can still flash the global ROM one the chinese model. Beside this i dont care about german (and im from germany).
- the hope for widevine certification (which isn't present on the Chinese model -> no Netflix support for example) -> i dont think this will ever happen. Take a look at other Xiaomi global rom devices...
- the price should drop a bit until they release the international version -> this should be true!

There is no official global ROM. Xiaomi states that this global ROM floating around for the Mi Pad isn't from their development.

I just received my Mi Pad 4. It has MIUI 9.6.8.0 Stable.
Even though I had to install netflix through apkmirror, it worked perfect and the image quality is crisp HD. Same for Amazon Prime. Am I missing something?
I got mine from the "Online Xiaomi Store" on aliXpress (it's not an official store, despite the looks), and it came with a version of MoKee (android orea 8.1) instead of MIUI, with the play store pre-installed.

So far it's been very stable, though some things like the camera are are unoptimized for the screen. Some of the assistant features also have the "this will take a few minutes" page forever.
As far as I know it's just "yet another" custom rom, here's a link to it.
I have got my, today.
MIUI Stable 9.6.8.0.
Version EN/CHINA
I have installed Google Installer.
And it works very good.
But still wait for Global or EU version.
I am on the China latest stable ROM (9.6.26.0), with Google Play installed (via apk) but am having trouble with syncing my Contacts and Calendar properly.
Same thing, Netflix doesn't appear in my Play Store and I need to install it separately (via apk).
The newly launched Rootless Launcher on Play Store works brilliantly on this as well, so it looks stock.
So far am loving the table (screen, battery life, responsiveness) other than these minor quirks.
Will hop onto a global ROM when/if it is ever available.

[Leak] Mate 30 Pro Promotion Pictures - Who is buying it?

What do you guys think? Worth an upgrade or stick to the Mate 20 Pro?
http://www.slashleaks.com/l/huawei-mate-30-pro-oficial-promotional-picture
I'm not upgrading that frequently anymore I don't think. This phone is already super smooth and does everything I need. Plus it'll be getting q soon.
mate20 pro, first and last huawei for me
I'll keep the 20 for at least one and a half year. Don't see much of a reason to upgrade yearly nowadays.
In my opinion I think Huawei make a good product and compete well with the best out there including Samsung and Apple. Unfortunately until we know for certain their US related issues and Android relationship in the long run, I don't think it's worth investing your top dollar on their flagship. For me this may be my first and last flagship from Huawei. I would definitely jump back again if everything has been clear and certain.
rooted mate 20 pro here, don't think there will be bootloader unlock codes for the mate 30 pro, i'll stick to the mate 20 pro and then i'll maybe get the note 11
If it's as bad ass as the Mate 20 Pro was at launch, and the price is right, then yes. Otherwise, I'll just hang on to my Mate 20 Pro a bit longer.

AOSP and no Google would be a dream for many here (GApps can always be installed if needed), and the removal of a lot of the EMUI & Google cruft would be awesome.
No point buying a phone of this value if it doesn't come with the essential Google apps.
Pixel 4 XL or Xperia 2 here I come
I am happy with the Mate 20 pro, I would jump ship if real life reviews (not the reviews given by you tubers which are handed the devices by Huawei for the purpose of "coloured" reviews) confirm a major upgrade on the camera's over the Mate 20 pro. I came from the Mate 10 and the camera on the Mate 10 gives me sometimes pictures like a oil painting, not happy with its camera so the upgrade to the Mate 20 pro was huge.
Going back on topic, as much as I dislike Apple, Samsung and google and their policies - being realistic they are all out there to sell their product and Huawei is not different and going in the same direction like Apple and co I welcome the opportunity of showing google they are not the only ones out there (except for Apple) offering an operating system for mobile devices. I would love to see an alternative. I believe I have to see in how far I can live without google services and how expensive the phone is. I believe it would be a matter of time before developers have alternatives for the major applications. I will follow closely the development on this subject, by the time the Mate 30 pro has reached an affordable price I am willing to spend we will know where we stand concerning google and its possibilities. So time will tell.

Except they are not allowed to use AOSP either. Also with more and more being put into play services which can be blocked device wide by a server switch. I wouldnt count on installing google apps. One fast device check and boom the device is blocked from the play store.

Question Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2 Global

The global version of the Legion phone 2 I bought from Giztop just showed up like 10 minutes ago. I haven't finished checking it out yet, but so far it looks like they have actually been able to put the global rom on the chinese version of the phone. Fingerprint works and so does the front camera which I think was an issue with the previous Legion phone. Here are some screenshots of what I have seen so far during setup
So the global version comes with all the usual Google apps set to default and as far as I can tell nothing from Lenovo. The fingerprint reader is noticibly faster than the Chinese version though I don't know if that is from the software difference or not. It was never very good no matter how many times I redid it on the Chinese rom. The factory screen protector also feels different so that may cause the change as well. Always on display still goes to sleep after a few seconds so that is no different. Notifications so far are working correctly without any kind of configuration required. I also tried changing the launcher. It can be done, but when you swipe an app and hold it just dissapears instead of showing all the running apps. So it sort of works.

12.5.102 ST, February 1 2021 security patch. Do you also have a problem with the Google search bar? I can't remove it. Also the camera and Legion app have a strange ZuiSkd name.
But further it's a great device. Very fast, great speakers, almost stock Android.

My version is 12.5.062. Does the always on display work properly in your version? I have the same issue with the Google search, which is annoying since it takes up alot of room. That reminds me, the camera app in the Global rom is way better than the Chinese version. It is faster and has a way better layout for image editing.

The always on display turns itself off after a few seconds, which makes it pointless since it is supposed to be always on.
The Chinese rom has some built in apps for the phone, contacts and texting and alot of random Chinese preinstalled apps that are pointless unless you know Chinese of course. It also is slower at loading apps than the Global version. It is very noticeable with ebay and google news. However, it is not a true direct comparison since my phones have different ram and storage sizes. The Chinese rom also has a security thing that frees ram and kills apps even if you tell it not to. It also has an option to download more themes, which the Global version doesn't seem to have. Otherwise I can't think of many other differences. People say the Chinese rom will get more updates, but that is not worth it to me.

Totally false. The cn version with global rom is missing b66,b71, and n71. So the hw is somehow different
I dunno how is it for Duel 2, but i had Asus ROG II (Chinese version) and it simply missed some bands too (it was hdw difference between global and chinese rom) - but honestly i didn't find in real enviroment any difference (living in UK)
Edit:// Hope Lenovo will realese new global update, those notification are annoying AF! Like i absolutely dunno if i got some message, it just simply that icon dissappear from status bar, like wtf , not mentioning still having issues with my hotspot, always have to use usb cable for hotspot, otherwise getting error >.<

Question 12S in EU ??

Do we have any info is this device coming to Europe ?? Or where to buy in china ?
tx
I don't think it's will come to eu (read that meny time on internet)
I bought mine on TradingShenzhen
Delivered less than 2 weeks
700€ ?? Well, that is close to asus zenfone 9. Hard to choose
I also bought mine at TradingShenzhen. Took just under 2 weeks to arrive.
How's the experience on Xiaomi 12S? I'm planning to get one too.
Issue I found so far with the Chinese ROM
1. Android auto - communication error 22, previously worked with my old phone ( thinking to flash to xiaomi eu rom)
2. Android home - casting to Chromecast, tried once didn't work
3. Whatsapps - choppy video when sharing with others. I think that's a Whatsapp issue
Otherwise it's been very good

According to some information, 12s series are only available in China, because the Leica authorization is currently only open for Chinese. Leijun says that the next generation of flagship will enter the global market.
Maybe you can try to buy it on Taobao (a Chinese online shopping platform), some of the shops support overseas delivery.

If you're not like Chinese and plan on using this phone as a daily driver than you are probably out of luck as this phone does not sell out of China. Even if you managed to get hold of it warranty and other benefits would not work outside of China.
If you are like me who simply wants to try out Chinese hardware and flash Custom roms than I suggest you wait a bit for devs who manage to get their hands on this device or when Xiaomi releases enough code for custom rom developers for them to churn out a good aosp-like rom.
Of course there is still the issue of this device being Chinese-only so non-Chinese custom rom devs would not pay much attention to this device.
The latest device that supports a mainstream AOSP custom rom (I regard LineageOS and pixelexperience as mainstream) is the Mi11, and that has been out for two years now.
You of course can choose to use the stock Chinese rom, With all the Mi bloatware and ads, other Chinese bloatware, Play services bugs, and you would have to sideload the Play Store.
With the money you are paying for this phone (and the added shipping fee to ship outside China) along with the fact that warranty (or even general) support is only in China (which means if you run into issues with your phone you would have to send it back in China to fix the issues) I suggest you look for a different phone that is officially sold and supported in your region.
