Please, I'd love to ask if there's a way to unlock the mobile carrier of moto G-Play 2021? Got this device from a family member, but it's requesting that i enter the unlocking code before i can make use of my sim.

Sounds like it is not unlocked... you could try calling AT&T to see if they will give you an unlock code for free(if it was an AT&T phone)... if not you need to buy one online for about $9

Mostly, your provider is going to unlock it by request for free or for a small amount of money. Visit them and ask for unlocking it

Just got of the phone with VIP Serbia. They do not unlock any of their devices. (Asked specificaly for Smart tab 10.1 ZTE 11) It is their policy. So if you are going abroad never, NEVER buy anything from VIP. They will screw you for your own money!!!

Hi everyone. I'm new at this and was wondering if I install a custom Rom on AT&T HTC Desire 610 Go Phone, will I be able to use T-mobile instead of AT&T? Will it unlock or bypass the network so I don't need to get network unlock pin? I contacted AT&T customer service to unlock network pin but was told I need to activate service to get help with that. I really don't want to activate the phone only to get a network unlock code when I'll be using T-mobile after. If custom Rom won't do the trick is there a way to SIM-Unlock the phone or a tutorial? The Phone is brand new Bootloader unlocked with HTCDEV and rooted. Purchased at Target. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance to anyone with some insight on my dilemma
Nope. Requires supercid mode, which requires s-off, which we don't have yet. Only option is at&t. If you've got a friend with an at&t account in good standing, they might be able to do it for you.

I have got a sprint lg g3 ls990. which was already unlocked when i got that and was running flumics rom.
But i want to restore it to stock lollipop.
i know how to flash the stock img. but the question is that will i be able to run the gsm sim straight away as i dont have the unlock code or any code of that sort or gsm can be enabled after rooting the mobile again withut the unlock code.
your help will truly be appreciated.

I don't really know the answer to this question because I've never used GSM or had to deal with SIM-related stuff, so this might be a dumb question, but does it just require an unlock code? Is this the same code that you can view in the "About Phone" menu in the options? The one that's called UICC unlock or something? Check out this thread here...
Is it already locked with a PIN right now? I don't even know if locked SIMs persist across factory resets, but if they do I would check online to see if that's all you need, or how it works. Maybe a Google search with something like UICC unlock SIM GSM LG G3 Sprint factory reset, for example. Sorry if I'm already telling you stuff you know.
I just got an alcatel, it was sent to me by an uncle from the U.s.a , but it doesnt use our mobile sim here in nigeria... It is hooked to boost mobile... Please can anyone help me unlock it online, will be grateful.. MOD EDIT: Removed personal information
XDA doesn't provide any SIM unlocking services. Please work through official means of unlocking your phone.
