I recently moved from Android One to One UI 5.1.
Mi A2 Lite to S23 Ultra
The recent button in One UI has only one option: Close All

The recent button in Android One, however, has three options: Clear All, Lens, and Screenshot
And that Lens option is magic. Because in whatever application you are, you can use that to translate, search, ... in that screen.
Could we add this option to the recent button of the S23 Ultra?
Or is any workaround to run Google Lens on One UI such that we can use its abilities?
The only possible way I found was to take a screenshot and open it in Lens which is very annoying since I have to take a screenshot and delete it after say translating the text inside it.
I also have the same need, but there is really nothing I found.
Maybe you could try Bixby vision that is more integrated in the one UI
I loved this lens function on my pixel 6 A simple way to save photos without taking a screenshot. I miss this feature in Galaxy S23 Ultra :/
Highly desireable feature, I also moved from a pixel 7 pro and extensively used Google lens for copying text from pics & such and the smart select function on one ui is not nearly as good!

I was living in Brazil so I have always been using Lens to translate new words or phrases besides its other options. Now I moved to Germany and I need it more

There should be a workaround to use Lens in One UI.

It's already installed but not integrated as in aosp roms. You have to take a screenshot and then go to lens and find that screenshot. Then you're able to translate or copy a text inside that photo.

You can share the screenshot with lens, it's faster

As you know, Google Photos started use bottom tab bar to switch pages, but many people hate that.
A simple xposed app to remove this bar and put them to drawer menu.
Tested on Google Photos v2.3.0.
If there's problem with next version of Google Photos, just temporarily disable it first.

It causes a bootloop on my lg g4 with cm13. I have quite a few other modules activated as well, so I'm not sure if one of them are interfering. None of them touch google photos to my knowledge though.
Nvm, it was an incompatibility with xuimod. Works as expected now. Good work!
nexus 5x not working
Works fine with last Photo + Stock MM. Can I suggest to add swype right to device folders, remove cloud icon and add cut/paste in new folders? Should be incredible! Thanks anyway!

I just tested on Android 6.0, and also set system language to Russian, it works fine.
Don't know why it doesn't work on your device, can you reboot your phone, and enter Photos once, then use adb or whatever tool is, grab log to me, maybe I can find something in your log.

Actually, I did swipe work with Google Photos v1.15 and v1.16,
but, unfortunately, it didn't work with v1.17, Google changed the construct about this part.
After that, it's not easy to let swipe work.

The latest version of Google Photos has a issue with the latest version of the app. There's dividers between each item and they are pinned (like the Settings option in some Google apps) so the other options are scrolling in a small space beneath the added items

and first of all, thank you for this module. I also don't like the iOS-ish bottom bar. I've got a request here, though. Could you please remove the dividers between individual items in the navigation drawer, as you did in Google Plus Bottom Bar Remover? It's only a little design issue, but I feel like the dividers don't look very well there - and since you removed them from the other app, it would be nice to get rid of them here as well.

I remember back in the earlier Xperia days (think Ice Cream Sandwich), there used to be a system file that can be edited in a text editor to configure the default app's resolution and whatnot. I just can't remember which file that was.
Also this is the only option available:

I tried to flash the new camera but it's now lacking the microphone mute option. I did, however, find the solution to my problem. I restored to the stock camera and then opened the Camera Apps section (lower left icon) and picked Manual instead of Superior Auto. Then I finally had the resolution choice while still retaining the mic mute option that the newer one you linked lack.

Yes, in Pro mode.
Even from the tele camera? Guess thats my new phone then, bye Samsung (only Raw from one sensor there). Just somehow need to get along without root.
Can you please give us the P30 theme? With the new square icons? It's so ugly on Mate 20. Some icons in circle, some square... So please if you can

Yes, it can shoot raw on all the lenses.
Does it have a notification LED?
Able to compare the night mode with the mate 20 pro?
And if not too much bother a long (e.g. 20secs) exposure shot of the night sky compared with the mate 20 pro on same pro settings. Hopefully should give a good feel on how noticeable the sensor improvements are

IT has VolTe toggle in settings.
The selfie camera is improved in my opinion. I am by no means a photographer, but this camera is alot better than mate 20 pro in many scenarios. Like, a massive improvement in dim/indoor light, aswell as clearity is better aswell

What is Google Camera (AKA GCam)?
Google Camera is the camera app for the Google Nexus and Google Pixel phones. It is not designed or intended to be run on other phones.
What is HDR+?
HDR+ is Google's proprietary image processing routine. HDR+ employs image stacking to control exposure, and also to preserve details, reduce noise, increase sharpness, etc. It is an all-in-one package.

HOW TO USE .XML FILES
Config files are stored in a folder (if that doesn't exist, CREATE IT)
(7.x) Main Storage > GCam/Configs7
To Load a XML open GCam, double click the dark area around the capture button, select the config, and then click on "Restore".
If after this you get "You have no configs" error make sure you inserted the correct folder names!

I've installed a GCam-Port for the One Plus 8. The night-mode is a big difference compared to the stock-cam on the oppo find x2 pro.
See the attached picture. Much brighter, much more details etc.

just tested URNYX05 [7.3] (no config file exists). Does a pretty good job though not as good as stock.

For nightmode I got much better results but not all things worked on this gcam mod.
Bug: I was trying the app, used the 360 photo function, and after that I tried to use the standard camera, pressed on 0,6 button, it closed and now the app is not starting anymore.
Wide angle and the main cameras are working on this no newest port. 5x is not saving the photos.

I tried even the newest Wichaya v2.7.3 and the 5x zoom doesn't work. Can't shoot photos still. And on the old version it would not work with night sight.
I haven't seen a gcam version where 5x was working.
In Wichaya though, the 5x view finder works i.e. no photos or video.

Telephoto works on Arnova8G2 versions without HDR+Enhanced, he couldnt fix it yet so its normal that the other versions have it bugged also.

Has anyone managed to modify the Story shot mode for the LG G8x camera? I mean the Story mod has the potential to be something awesome, something like the LG Wing's dual video mode, where you can take video with both cameras at the same time. The hardware can do that, as the preview for this mod shows.
Instead it's a crappy uncustomizable mode that puts your face on top of half the screen, and you can't even customize where your selfie is put.
Is there any way to get the dual video mode from LG wing? (or LG V10 back in the day)

There are quite allot of dual camera apps on the store, most of them fake or not working, i have found 2 that work, but one of them does not show you a preview of the selfie picture, and the other one has a forced uneditable counter after which it will take the second shot.
Have you found any apps that actually do a good job with dual shot?

Best dual camera mod i found is Nokia camera on XDA. It's a camera app compatible with most phones, and it has PIP AND SPLIT SCREEN for BOTH PHOTO AND VIDEO!
