Question Request for someone to make a custom vendor with arm64 support. - Samsung Galaxy A02s

Since the device runs on arm-based kernel and firmware, It would be great if someone make a custom vendor with arm64 support.
The device has binder architecture.
This would allow users with the following device to run arm64 GSIs and run apps that has discontinued arm support such as Instander, A modded version of Instagram.
Here's the device's kernel :
GitHub - mohammad92/android_kernel_samsung_a02q: Kernel source for the Samsung Galaxy A02s (Snapdragon)
Kernel source for the Samsung Galaxy A02s (Snapdragon) - GitHub - mohammad92/android_kernel_samsung_a02q: Kernel source for the Samsung Galaxy A02s (Snapdragon)
github.com
I would love to be a tester for it in case someone makes one.

The Samsung A20s has the same internals down to the very chip and runs 64 bit, porting its vendor to the A02s may be possible

Wow. It seems that it can run Secure GSIs as well unlike the stock vendor which cannot.

ARM64 vendor for a02q/m02q SDM450
Crdroid 7.16 added on this zip as a test
You can flash any GSI Android 10/11/12/13+ Via Fastbootd
You need to flash bootloop fix for fix bootloop in android 12/13+ (bootloop means stuck in boot animation crdroid linageaos like.. not samsung a02s logo)

NEWS!
So, I've been busy at school lately to prepare my final exam. I also finally got around to clean up this messy thread and re-design it a little. OK, let's get to the point. I found Samsung's ENG BOOT.IMG for our device a few weeks ago. What is a ENG BOOT.IMG? Basically, it's Samsung's engineering boot image used to test this device. What feature does it benefit us? With this boot image, you can get SELinux permissive (Yup. I've said that. PERMISSIVE! Still not enough? You need to get your eyes fixed LOL (Just joking). I think flashing this with Odin 3 won't trip the KNOX warranty because why would Samsung make a boot.img that would trip the company's own warranty, am I right?
Oh yeah, If you follow my thread a few months ago, you will know that my phone actually fell and broke it's screen. My phone is finally fixed!!! Yay!!! Also, there is no damage to the motherboard. Thank god. I also have a bad news, as my examination starts at October of this year and I'm busy preparing for my examination, my promised custom stock based ROM will need to wait until November/December to finish making customizations to it. My previous attempt to boot the ROM still has many random application force closes. I'm sorry for not making my promises to finish up the custom ROM a few months ago. I hope people waiting for my ROM for so long will accept my apologise. Thank you.

THANK YOU GUYS FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT! MAY THE J1 (2016) GROW EVEN MORE AND BECOME SUCCESSFUL!!
As someone has problems with WiTeX ROM, I have the original version (Maybe the first or second release of this ROM) from... maybe April or May 2017? I uploaded the file to MediaFire. This is old version. The UI (User Interface) is Android 6.0 Marshmallow. I cannot guarantee if this version fixes the VoLTE. I haven't used VoLTE for almost 3 years on this phone. I also cannot test this as my phone is in a very very bad condition (Screen cracked as hell. No display etc.). Luckily Vysor (by Koush Dutta) saved the day and I was still able to use this phone. I was very lucky because I left USB Debugging open (Without it open, I can never use this phone again). I use the phone by connecting it via USB to my laptop. I cannot use recovery mode (TWRP) because Vysor doesn't support casting from TWRP (and it never will support that feature).
Spoiler: Unnecessary Self Advertising
NOTE: I also have a website now Growtopia Jaw. The website's design is still in progress. I ended up using WordPress because it is very powerful with tons of plugins support. I also have Let's Encrypt certificate to keep the webiste Secure (The Green Padlock). Follow my daily activity and projects if you want to know more about me!

EXTRA!!!
I have compiled a custom kernel based on J120GDXU1APF2 kernel source and J120GDXU1AQD1 boot loader. It should be compatible with all of the ROMs above (including stock ROM). I personally tested this custom kernel in @javad490's WITEX ROM and my tweaked stock ROM. It worked flawlessly. Also if you're using Smart Manager, please flash this j120F-kenel-sec-fix.zip in recovery as Smart Manager keeps reporting "Thread detected" message because of the custom kernel installed. If you're not using Smart Manager, good news! No need to flash that zip. I will post what's added and removed from the kernel as my computer is not with me now.
Proof
Oh yeah, SELinux permissive* and compiled with Linaro too!
Actually it's not that hard to compile a kernel from source because even I a 13 year old kid can do this. So it's not impossible to compile a kernel if you're older than me or whatsoever. All knowledge are gained from experience and patience. Good luck if you're learning to compile a kernel.

Hello, I've downloaded CleanStockEdition v1.1 and tested that MTP is working well on my PC. Have you tried reinstalling the rom or download a new copy of the CleanStockEdition v1.1 rom? Have you also tried installing Samsung USB Drivers? If not, link is provided above in the first thread.

is it work on j120g??
I'm sorry but cm 13 and cm 14 are not supported on this model. Developers at 4PDA (Russian Forums) also discussed on this topic and and said that cm 13 and cm 14 are considered off-topic because it is not supported on this phone. Porting ROMs are also not possible where I and @javad490 tried to port Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) from SM-J120A (Samsung Galaxy Express 3) and Samsung Galaxy J2 but failed. Even though we successfully built cyanogen/lineage, it may not boot or have more bugs than you can use. Currently, we don't have any developer who is advanced enough (correct me if I'm wrong) to build or maintain cyanogen/lineage on this phone. I hope anybody who is reading this and using a Galaxy J1 will understand this problem.
Thank you.

Sorry for the late reply! Hope you can forgive me!

[RECOVERY] [UNOFFICIAL] TWRP 3.3.1-0 For suzu [04-07-2020]

View attachment 4988743About
TWRP is an open source, community project. TWRP development is done by roughly 4 people at this point. We also have a large support community with many people who are willing to answer questions and help people with their devices either through our IRC channel or on forums like xda-developers.
Team Win was originally formed to work on porting WiMAX to CM7 for the HTC EVO 4G. After our work on the EVO 4G we wanted to work on a project that would work on more devices than just the EVO 4G and we settled on working on a recovery. Today TWRP is the leading custom recovery for Android phones.
A custom recovery is used for installing custom software on your device. This custom software can include smaller modifications like rooting your device or even replacing the firmware of the device with a completely custom "ROM" like OmniROM
You can find the source code for TWRP at github.com/omnirom/android_bootable_recovery/
Release Notes:
* Fix selinux issues during formatting - dianlujitao
* Various fixes for toybox and toolbox builds - CaptainThrowback and bigbiff
* Flash both A and B partitions when installing a recovery ramdisk - Dees_Troy
* Add option to uninstall TWRP app from /system - Dees_Troy
* Create digest for subpartitions - bigbiff

INSTALLATION:
0. Backup your ROM
1. Download the OrangeFox zip file to your device
2. Use command or recovery img mode to install

Because the TWRP I built is based on android-9.0, and the official TWRP is based on android-8.1, the TWRP I built can interpret the hardware encryption of pie or Q, and the official TWRP seems to have compatibility issues.

Question can gsi rom be used on redmi note 10?

whats the procedure i have unlocked bootloader
was able to flash Android 12 Gsi successfully.. But couldn't Boot system.
Only gsi arm64 Android 12 worked though.
You can check any instructions on Google because Gsi has one way for all devices. but it's on your own risk.
Sorry for being off topic but what's the difference between the custom roms made specifcally for the device and the gsi roms?

1> Custom ROMs are more Optimized for the devices they are published for. Also, they usually have more features and upgradations while GSI (Generic system Image) is better than plain simple vanilla AOSP (Android Open Source Project) in most cases and are supposed to have a higher chance of adapting for installation on any supportive (ARM architechture etc.) device.
2> Custom ROMs are usually larger in size (1Gb/2gb etc. ) while GSIs are usually smaller in size
( 500Mb/700Mb etc.)

OctaviOS GSI (GSI Arm64-ab) booted on my Redmi note 10 but Lineage 18.1 is way better as per my opinion, you have to flash Gapps though.
P.S.- I'm still waiting for some more vanilla ROMs OR GSIs to be made for this device butfrom what I know the developer communities seem to be more in favor of making Rom/Gsi (OR Ports) for the PRO versions of Redmi Note series directly, so some of the lower devices not getting enough attention.

since it's miui base i don't think so, but if you try please share your feedback.
Attempted to flash on MIUI 12.5.9 didn't booted neither got into recovery. Backup your vendor_boot.img to flash back in case of messing up something.
good job.
Did someone tried on GSI rom?
Hi, I'm assuming you use this kernel in your latest Descendant build? I've been using MIUI for almost a year now and still miss the feel of a close to AOSP build. If I can find the time to reset all of the 2FA accounts I'll for sure give Descendant a try!
Descendant rom in use Quantic Kernel [5.4.203] Boot failure with installation
Booting after factory reset successful

There is still a ROM for the Renoir, CorvusOS.
I just installed it, for the moment no problem. It is close to the PE ROM I think.
