Question Google sign-in notifications not showing up anymore - Redmi Note 11S 4G / POCO M4 Pro 4G (fleur)

Hey everyone,
I'm using the POCO M4 Pro,
Intially i had set up my google accounts on my phone, and when logging in on any computer or device, I could choose the choose yes on my device, and I would get a notification to log in, choose a number and could get in to my google account.
Now the signin prompt / notification doesn't show at all...
What I've tried: re-enabling notifications, permissions, checking all the notification permissions for chrome, play services and google, making sure they're all updated...
Please help

[Q] Twitter: No Notifications

Hey there,
I have a major problem with the official Twitter App. I don't receive any notifications. When I go into settings, my username and then Notifications, all the different kind of notifications are "OFF". Then I activate them (mentions, retweets, favs etc.) and I get the following message:
"You can only connect 25 devices to your account"
(at least this should be the right translation into English)
What I've done so far: Logged out from the app, revoked the access for the Twitter App at twitter.com/settings/applications and re-logged in into the app. Same problem.
Revoked the access of all apps in my account, deinstalled the app, re-installed it, same problem.
Reflashed the ROM, same problem.
I really don't know what to do anymore. There are no search results with this problem either... Do you have an idea?
Thanks in advance!

marshmallow contacts app won't start, "require this permission" message displayed
Hi all, hoping some kind soul can help me. My girlfriend has a ZTE Zmax running Android 6.0.1, not rooted.
She can't get into her Contacts app (stock android contacts app). When she taps the Contacts app icon on the home screen, the message "Require this permission" appears. is displayed and the Contacts app does not open. I've searched but haven't found a fix yet.
Things I have tried, didn't help:
- checked permissions for the contacts app. all the following permissions are granted Calendar, Contacts, Location, Phone, SMS, Storage.
- checked permissions for the launcher app.
- tried launching Contacts from the App Drawer instead of Home Screen
- tried a different launcher (Google Now launcher)
- cleared data and cache for the Contacts app
- Force Close and Reboot
- wiped the Cache partition from Recovery
- Disable button for Contacts app is greyed out.
Any ideas? The "Require this Permission" message is strange. Maybe the intended meaning is "This requires permission", but I can't figure out where to grant the permission.
Same exact issue
I found this same exact issue on my mother's phone. Same model phone and version of Android. I searched and could only find this post. Any assistance would be appreciated.

[lg g5 se h840] google reminder not working

Goodmorning everyone,
I have been desperately trying to be reminded by the phone about the reminders I enter on google calendar.
I tried everything (I've been looking for months on the internet, I do tests ...):
ignored optimizations for google processes
verified and activated all notifications (both in the google app and in the android system)
activated / deactivated gps
verified and set all permissions for google processes
I do not have any energy-saving or process-killing apps
follow any guide / advice on the web
a thousand other things!
Unfortunately, only the reminders are not notified, while the events of google calendar and any other type of notification (twitter, facebook, whatsapp) is instantaneous.
It rarely happens that some reminder arrives, but usually only immediately after restarting the terminal.
Solutions that are not installing third-party apps?
Thanks in advance!

Click to collapse
I solved!
After hours and hours of desperate research I understood how to solve:
1) connect to google calendar desktop (from PC better)
2) in the "my calendars" section, click on the three activity points and select "switch to reminder"
3) ENJOY!

Ogyoutube, YouTube vanced - can't log in

I recently changed my Google password and since then I'm unable to sign in to my YouTube account with YouTube Vanced or OGYouTube. When I click the sign in button:
For Ogyoutube - the Accounts window comes up listing the email address that I use for Google (greyed out) and saying "Please check your network connection"
For Vanced a blank Accounts window comes up. I click the plus sign and the sign in window comes up asking for email or phone. I enter my Google email address and it says "This account already exists on your device"*
I have MicroG installed. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling both apps. Also I cut power to my Android TV box and turned it on again to reboot it. No luck. Any ideas what might be going on?

No more Google contacts

Hello,
I have a p30 (stock, since I can't unlock the bootloader...)
It's the second time all Google services are blocked: chrome, YouTube /Vanced, Gmail, play store, etc. I solved it by trying a few different methods, though I'm not sure which finally worked: deactivating Google play services, rebooting the phone, deleting my Google account...
Everything went back to normal the first time, but since the second one I can't seem to get my Google contacts.
- In display settings of the contacts app, I can choose between the contacts sim, Huawei, signal, messenger and others but no Google here.
- When I want to create a new contact I can choose sim or Huawei, no Google.
- In contacts settings - > other accounts, I can see the Google account but can't synchronize it.
- In general settings I checked that contacts are synchronized.
Could it have anything to do with the Google ban of Huawei devices, despite it's not supposed to happen for the p30? I'm interested in any input!
You can try vmos pro and load your google contacts in vmos after export to device storage
