[Xu] Resolve - Wifi freeze - Continuous Reboot at Startup .Soft Break

I had an Xperia U to repair.
failure: continuous reboot at startup
sw installed: Slikat 4.4.2
bootloader: unlook
I installed ICS original sony ftf
booted everything seemed fine but to turn on the wifi the problem is back ...
I tried various threads to no avail.
in particular, the original thread from the official site sony on changing
File: wpa_supplicant_bgscan.db ..... but going to check the file with root explorer.....
FILE WAS NOT PRESENT IN THE SYSTEM OF THIS PHONE!
Then I tried this procedure on this XU worked:
rooted ics rom installed
install WiFix Manager 1.2
start the program. After choose your own time zone-my, check
advanced setting EU instead of U.S. install. start: installing WiFix.
exit without closing the program and
Enter code from phone dialer: * # 94 349 #
I think now the wifi will work ',
then go to: settings / wireless / advanced / option (keep wifi active during sleep) choose option: only when connected
but on my xperia u closing the display will freeze or reboot the wifi again!!
go in data / misc / wifi - WiFix 1.2 created the file: wpa_supplicant_bgscan.db!!
with root explorer go to the file and give all permissions in reading,
remove all checkmarks in writing (I think this is the problem of freeze)
put the check only: Run: Owners only.

[Guide-Tool] Clear Download Recovery (Unroot)

Disclaimer:
Code:
You will be doing everything at your own risk.
Only you will be held responsible if you end up damaging or bricking your device.
About this guide
This is a quick and easy guide to get rid of the ROOTED status in download mode on G2 devices.
By doing this, you will return to the factory look of download mode with it showing UNROOTED.
Special Note
I have only tested this on my LG-D802. I do NOT know if this works on other G2 devices.
Therefore, please report back whether it works for you so I can add your device to the OP.
Requirements
LG USB Drivers (Easy to find & install - Google is your friend)
Your G2 must be rooted to use this.
USB Debugging must be enabled in Developers Options.
A software to extract the attached .zip file.
Notepad++
Instructions
Connect your G2 to your PC using MTP. At this point, USB debugging is not necessary. If phone is not recognized, then install/reinstall USB drivers.
Now head into PC - right click on your phone and hit properties. Copy this line as shown in this screenshot:

Download the attached .zip and extract the content to anywhere you like.
Open rct.cfg using Notepad++. Now delete SERIAL because here you shall paste the serial number of your phone which you copied earlier.
You must now enable USB Debugging in Developers Options. It does not matter if you had it enabled earlier or not.
Cant find Developers Options? Enter Settings - General - About Phone - Software Information - hit buildnumber 7 times and go back to Settings menu.
Open the file named install from the extracted .zip and give it root access on your phone.
Done. Download mode will now show UNROOTED.
OPTIONAL: You can now flash KDZ/TOT file if you want to fully return to stock. The status in download mode will remain unrooted after flashing a stock firmware.

Reset Lockscreen Password

Hey guys,
I have managed to either forget my lockscreen password or it got corrupted flashing/restoring ROMs forth and back. Anyways, I still have access to the phone via fingerprint.
I would like to somehow reset the password but do not know how. The common approach via Google Device Manager (e.g. https://www.digitaltrends.com/mobile/forgot-android-password-pin-pattern/) does not work because there are no lock options ("You’ll be prompted to enter a new password and confirm it. Make sure that you remember the password you choose!"). I can lock the phone, but that does not resolve my problem.
Any thoughts?

}
This worked on my Duel 2 - GLOBAL (12.5.188ST)
ROM downloaded from:
romprovider.com/lenovo-legion-2-pro-firmware
(theres also a EEA ROM you can download)
Or you can download your ROM from the RSA app by entering your IMEI
Heres what I did:
*Install Qualcomm USB Driver
(Https://gsmusbdriver.com/install-qualcomm-usb-driver) then restart PC
*Install QPST 2.7.496
(http://qpsttool.com/qpst-tool-v2-7-496)
After installing qpst, locate its folder on your pc, mines on C: Program Files (x86)/ Qualcomm/ QPST/ bin... then open the QFil file in the bin folder.
On QFil:
*select Flat Build
*On the Programmer Path, click Browse, select where your extracted ROM folder is, then select " prog_firehose_ddr.elf " file then click open.
*Click Load XML, and select ALL .xml files
*Select ALL patch
*on your powered OFF Duel 2, press & hold POWER, +VOL, -VOL simultaneously, when the Legion Logo flashes, plug your USB cable on the Left side Type-C port
*On QFil, click Select Port and select your Phone if it doesnt automatically selected when you plug it.
*Click DOWNLOAD
"The QFil app on the QPST folder fixed the error The system cannot find the file specified"
Hope this helps
i was stuck in fastboot for the last 2 days. the backup i had saved using miracle thunder box didnt work and neither did this. But it got a lot further in the boot sequence before resetting lol. So i took the backup i had of my phone, fastboot flashed the persist image over and it booted right up. not sure if it was just coincidence but it reset 3-4 times on me before flashing the image over. Doesnt help those who are already screwed but helps others prepare before attempting an update
ฉันลองทุกขั้นตอนแล้ว แต่ไม่ได้ผล โปรดช่วยฉันด้วย
thank you that was really helpful i didnt know about select all i was selecting 1 after another thank you again for the detailed steps
