QNA
Why is v1 removed?
That's a cheap version in front of v2. v2 is more advanced with more features and even improvements of v1.
All listed apps are safe to remove?
As per my experience, yes !
How does it free up storage?
Bloatwares are stored in system partition but in their factory version. That space can't be freed up and can't even be used in data partition. Moto shell runs various scrips for each app. One of them is removing all updates from the app and making it factory version. The updated data gets out of data partition and thus you get around 1 gb free storage.
What about performance?
It definitely gets slightly improved. You can take some extra steps for performance with some apps like Kernel auditor, Root booster, SD maid, Link2sd which actually work with the power of root.
Why is it not showing accurate free storage?
It's not my fault. The command responsible for this shows the result and the value gets displayed on screen. It probably shows 300-400 mb less free storage than the value in settings > storage. However, that should not be a huge concern as its main intention is to let you see how much free storage is available before and after debloating / clearing cache.
Download
Make sure recommended Adb and fastboot drivers are properly installed. Instructions can be found here.

If you are an owner of a smartphone then it is a very common thing as smartphones have found their way in each and every person's hands today. With some cool and cheap Android phones being launched, Android is creating a large number of users. But there is one thing that many people has to compromise with when they buy an Android phone. The thing is the internal storage space. Most of the phones come with very less storage space. When you click some photos or share some important files they get stored in the internal storage but alongwith this useful data some useless data also finds its place and thus the processing speed of an Android is hampered. But you can stop such unused data from using the free space by following these 5 simple tips.
1. Use your Memory Card instead of internal space.
Whenever you want to install an app or a game, don't install it in your internal memory space; rather use your memory card. Your Android is capable of doing many things. Also you can move your apps that are installed in your internal memory to your memory card storage. This will help you keep your internal memory free.
___________________________________________________________________
2. Delete Temporary data of Installed App.
Try removing temporary data from your Android device on a regular basis. Surf through the market and you will get many third-party utility applications that will help you in removing the temporary data of the installed app from your device.
___________________________________________________________________
3. Remove unwanted apps.
There are thousands of apps available in the market that can help you monitor the category-wise memory storage very accurately. Install such apps so that you can know which app is consuming how much memory and you can also know that in which places how much memory is used. So install such Apps to monitor you memory usage.
___________________________________________________________________
5. Backup your Photos.
Don't keep all your images in your phone for a long time. Try to keep a backup of all such images in your computers. You can even change the settings of where the photo will be stored; change it to your memory card. But after some days remove the images from your Android device and copy it in your computers, This will ensure that you won't run out of memory when needed.
I hope you would have liked the tips.

What Is It?
Aroma App Package Creator is an application for those who flash new rom's often and want an easy way to create a flashable zip to reinstall apps. This utilizes Aroma Installer for more customization, allowing you to choose which apps to be installed instead of installing all of them. I made this tool for myself after seeing strawmetal's Flashaholic Essential Packs and wanted a way to produce the same results without editing multiple config files for each "pack" I make. I hope everyone else will find it useful as well
How To Use: Click Steps For Screenshot
1) Download the aroma-app-package-creator.jnlp file and run by double clicking it
You must have Java 6 or higher for the application
You will have to accept a security warning. This is normal for all applications using Java Web Start
2) Click the + button under the Group Names list to create a new group
3) Add an app to a group by selecting the desired group, then click the + under the Apps list
If you don't select an apk file then there will be an empty folder in data folder of your created zip with the Apk's name where you should place the .apk manually
4) Choose your device from the Calibration drop down menu and then click create to build your zip
If your device isn't on the list of preloaded calibrations then choose CUSTOM and input the calibration data for your device. See below on how to get this data.
Send your device name and calibration data via email or pm and it will be added to the list of preloaded calibrations
5) Flash your zip like any other in recovery
How To Get Calibration For Your Device
1) Download the calibration.zip from here
2) Run the zip in recovery like any other and when prompted to use alternative touch select no (usually using power button)
Nothing on your device is changed by running this tool.
3) Follow on screen instructions until your calibration data is displayed in a popup
When asked to tap the circle sometimes you may need to tap and hold for a few seconds or tap it multiple times. It should work eventually
You will get to test the calibration, if it is not good (not picking up finger, choppy, etc.) try running the tool again, but instead selecting yes for alternative touch

How to Play HEARTHSTONE® by Blizzard Entertainment on HP Touchpad

The HP Touchpad is an old device but thanks to all the Developers and support from many users, still offering functionality than many newer devices can not offer.
This is a very simple guide on how to install and Play:
HEARTHSTONE®, Blizzard Entertainment’s award-winning collectable card game
The only thing to do is start with a clean install following this guide:
HP TOUCHPAD Optimize for Android with Swap Partition Flash Files
The following screenshots were taken using Android 9 Pie Dirty Unicorns V13.0-20190328-1316-RC.
Install the ROM exactly as posted
Use Open Gapps Pico, the basic to get the Play Store and install the Game.
Enable Developers mode and take a look at the running services:
Wait until the free memory becomes available above 400 MB, that means that most of Android services have finished their process.

Run the App
After the App is install it will required to download over 1 GB of data, make sure your WiFi signal is good and fast!
The finished installation size:
All the screenshots were taken from installation and then the game was played during days, ( I am not a gamer very bad at it )
After you have play the Game for hours and you are done, close it and take a look again at the Free available memory.
It will show over 500 MB, more than when the game started of 400 MB, that shows that most of Android OS was placed on the swap partition to make more RAM to run the App. The System is stable and no process gets Kill or Reboots, never turn off the Tablet, leave it charging when not in use, with the screen off
More Apps can be install in the Tablet, but go easy and install one at a time and monitor the Free Memory in Running Services. If the App stays active in the background using memory it will prevent from running the Game. The Free memory must be close to 400 MB.
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________Disclaimer: I am not a developer, just a regular user like YOU that have found a way to improve the Tablet and would like others to benefit by sharing the information.
I am not the creator of any ROM, Recovery or Kernel mentioned or used. All credits goes to the developers than have worked and provided the best software there is for our Tablet and there are way too many to mentioned, but everyone know who they are! Thanks a lot to all of YOU (Developers for the HP Touchpad)!
Special Thanks @flintman for all his work creating TWRP Recovery and the many customs ROMs, also @shumash for creating the Skz kernel providing higher CPU and GPU frequencies_________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Custom image of the system based on RETEU_9.0_PPHS29.59-51-13 Stock firmware
Prerequisites: The bootloader must be unlocked, installed new and clean stock firmware, TWRP is installed.
What's done?
- the system passes the SafetyNet test, the device is certified (in Magisk settings, activate Magisk Hide function, on the Magisk Hide tab, give permission for Google Play Services, reset Google Play);
- cleaned and made the system easier;
- built-in system color accents;
- built-in and updated to the latest Moto App and GAPPS (Play Market, Chrome, Google Dialer, Messages, Contacts, etc.) firmware, but nothing else. YouTube has been removed because I use YouTube Vanced ( Magisk Module );
- installed Nova Launcher (I recommend using it as the main one), RootExplorer, Asus File Manager (for simple tasks), Asus Gallery, AdAway ad blocker, Moto Command Center 2;
- installed weather widget and live wallpaper from Moto Edge+;
- replaced desktop wallpaper, system sounds, ringtones, notifications, alarms.
Installation
1. Extract from system.img archive, copy to SD Card. Copy Magisk installer archive, Disable_Dm-V_ForceEncrypt archive (take it from TWRP Installation Instructions post).
2. Reboot in TWRP, go to the Wipe tab and do a cleanup of Dalvik, System, Data and then two steps back perform "Factory reset".
3. Install the image of the System. In the "Installation" tab in the lower right corner, click on "Install img" and select system.img. A window will open in which you should select the System Image section in which the image will be installed. Swipe for confirmation.
4. After the installation is finished, go to the Wipe section and perform the "Factory reset".
5. Install Magisk, Disable_Dm-V_ForceEncrypt. Reboot to the system.
6. After of the boot make the settings.
Enjoy! :victory:
Download Google Drive
Will it work on devices for other regions? I think so. But it needs to be checked.
Sometimes when I use my Zoom, I have a problem of some apps in the background being killed. I think this has more to do with Low Memory Killer than 4GB if RAM - my previous phone, had 3GB and when using a some type of AOSP ROM, this was less likely to happen. Could you tell me, if Low Memory Killer values can be adjusted - or maybe in current android versions this is no longer the case and they replaced LMK with some other solution?
I can't tell you. For example, I have 10 applications running in the background and nothing is deleted.
Try Kernel Adiutor
