Disable Telephoto Lens GCam - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys, I recently tried using the "Arnova" version of GCam, I have a Pixel 4, the issue is that the OIS of my telephoto lens is broken. So it ends up with a blurry image, is there any way to disable the telephoto lens via Developer settings? and just leave the main lens enabled

You're referring to "Arnova8G2's Google Camera Port" ?
If so then this thread is misplaced, should be there:

Camera apps supporting "Portrait Mode" (Stereo mode in MIUI)

I've discovered that in Ressurection Remix and probably other ROMs that the monochrome camera is accessible, and I can use it with the built in camera app. There's no blur support, though. Does anyone know any apps that can do it?
I'm looking for something that actually uses the second camera, rather than computer-generating it.
The Mi a1 camera port doesn't do it.
Just install Google camera hdr+ and use lens blur. Exactly same thing.

Gcam Latest MGC and Sanity

I got the latest gcam versions working on mix 3 so gonna share it here
Sanity:
https://f.celsoazevedo.com/file/cfiles/gcm1/GoogleCamera_6.2.030_stable_alt.apk
BSG:
https://f.celsoazevedo.com/file/cfiles/gcm1/MGC_6.2.030_RN7_V1plusplus_FINAL.apk
Will Attach Sample Images Later
The Sanity apk worked for me but BSG kept closing. Thanks very much!
Everything seems to be working without any issues - it has some cool camera modes not in the stock camera.
I will use this for the night sight because I hear it's better than MIUI's version.
But I'll keep MIUI camera for front facing pictures:
gcam front facing flash lights up screen rather than uses the torch at the front.
In gcam settings, front camera photo resolution maximum is 6.2 megapixels instead of 24MP.
gcam has digital zoom! This is good - stock doesn't have digital zoom.
Does anyone have any opinion on MIUI camera vs gcam for daytime pictures though (mix 3)? It's night time here so I can't compare yet.
Looks like gcam does not use the optical zoom (2x) like stock does. Only digital zoom available. So stock camera may be better here for far away shots.

Using the telephoto lens is different on GCam 6.2 version, it was easier on previous versions. IIRC, you have to go to settings (settings > advanced > on the bottom there is a "Switch to the auxiliary back camera" switch) every time you want to use the telephoto lens. A bit annoying but there's nothing we can do about that, I'm afraid.

I was able to use all the three cameras with gcam systemizing the Gcam App (I use the hypercam) and three buttons to change camera popped on the top right of the viewfinder. You can find the discussion I read here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=81292763&postcount=98

I really don't know how to help you, I just did those steps and it worked, btw I'm on the stock ROM with the camera2api enabled as stock.
I attached a pic on how it should look like.
i installed MGC_7.3.018_Parrot043-v1 as system app on miui and it crashed

Use ANXCamera version 164 and download the 48MP fix zip from ANXCamera website. BTW, there is no telephoto lens in Mi A3. Only wide-angle and standrd. The 2x zoom in the camera option is digital. It still uses the main lens. The third lens is a 2MP depth sensor. Portrait mode also works on ANX 164.
PS. I am on the lates Pixel Experience Plus Rom

Gcam working on exynos

Hello there. Noob here.
Found this video on youtube with a link for a gcam port that works on exynos. I've downloaded, tested and for me, works flawlessly.
Here is the video link:
Here is the files download link:
BSG GCam APKs - Google Camera Port
Modified Google Camera app by BSG.

And a screenshot from the steps.
That's the file that worked for me.

I Tried this on my S20 ultra and it seemed to be working fine.
Edit: the app just disappeared from my phone.

When using astrophotography mode something is wrong. It´s starts the countdown and the circle around the shutter goes around until about 50secounds..at around that time the circle stops but the countdown keeps going. When it reaches 0 nothing happens and everything frooze.
Is there a way to fix this? Is it happening to anyone else?
whats benefit of Gcam over samsung camera?
Something new from Pixel 6 pro Gcam ?
Nice but not compatible with 108mpx
And zoom X100
Does this camera work for custom ROMs?
Up - I posted in the generic GCam thread (mostly about Snapdragon): there's a GCam 8.4 port that works very well on my S20 Ultra Exynos for the back camera. Front are unfortunately not available since the OneUI 2.5 update, thx to Samsung.
Copy/paste:
Even better: Hasli's LMC8.4_R15. There's no config file needed.
Install one of the Samsung version (ruler or scan3d), then instructions found on Reddit:
To get telephoto and ultra wide cameras:
Settings > Additional cameras > Toggle "Tele camera" and "Wide camera" toggles
Settings > Additional cameras > List ID manually, there:
enable BOTH toggles ("Use listed IDs" and "Use given values")
in "List ID manually", write: 0,1,2,52
in individual IDs, set: Main Camera 0 Tele Camera 3 Wide Camera 2 ID4 Camera 4 ID5 Camera 5 Front Main lens 1
To get the Pro button: Settings > Processing functions > Viewfinder settings > PRO Mode (toggle to enable)
Optical stabilisation: settings/LMC take/optical stabilisation
On my S20 Ultra Exynos, the front camera is still not working, but all back cameras are working - even video in 4k on the telephoto.

Thanks for posting this, best I have been able to find so far, but I am finding it to be pretty unreliable in actually capturing an image. Any luck on getting the front camera to work?
New version of Hasli's GCam LMC8.4_R17 (use one of the "_samsung" files).
Updated config for S20 Ultra attached.

Question Does anyone have a good GCam port for the GT2 Pro?

I'd love to get better night shots on the main sensor using GCam, and even better audio bitrate when recording as well.
Best I found until now:
Shamim GCam APKs - Google Camera Port
Modified Google Camera app by Shamim.
www.celsoazevedo.com
SGCAM_8.4.400.42.XXX_STABLE_V38FIX
Only main lens supported but stable and good picture quality.
There is gcam thread already. Continue with that thread.
Gcam for realme gt2 pro?
Hello! Is there any compatible version of gcam available with at least most of the stock camera app features? Most ports crash upon launching or taking a photo.
