Hope anyone can help me - i' am still stuck - after trying and reading posts for 6 hours. i tried to flash the touch flo w6 rom on my charmer. activesync disconected during the flash proces. charmer does not start anymore - but i can get to bootloader screen.
But all roms i found and tried to flash need an activesync connection. could someone pls let me know how to flash from bootloader without active sync and where to find such a rom - if possible a w6 - if not w5 is also very very welcome!

Actually I do - but if nessecary I have ease access to a Computer running XP.
you need to use a PC running XP, then please try to flash the base ROM as Vdlock mention in his thread : http://www.tm-phonedownloads.com/fil...ileUK_Ship.exe
Reset to bootloader then connect teh USB cable to an XP machine and run teh above shipped ROM installer
Please make sure you do this before your goes flat, if you notice now it might not be even charging ...

Hi guys I have a o2 XDA II mobile i did unlock it before which i was really happy, now i was trying to upgrade my Rom from the ftp ftp://ftp.xda-developers.com/Himalaya/ROM1.03/ file called: "XdaII_RUU10305ger_o2_de.rar" I have tried to install it then suddenly my device screen just went all black the only words on the screen is USB on top and the bottom says v1.06 .
I have tried to switch off and on took the battery off and on the message stills there dont know what to do i am desperate i think i have ****ed my phone.
Can anyone help please i really need help

As long as you can see on the screen Serial or USB it's not dead.
Download a good working ROM
I had the same problem last week and downloaded from the FTP Server from the xda-developers the following ROM:
Himalaya_T-Mobile_NL_1.75.903_eDsuBsofT
use an ftp client, and go to folder: /Himalaya/ROM_1.75
It's an English version and running great on my device

I need a link to a good nk.nbf file because the files i use donot work for me....... i have an unlocked g4 hard spl/ipl 2.21.0001/2.21.olip...... i also i'm running on Mun's_Ruu which the camera and voice command buttons do not work........... but other than that when i try 2 upload a new program like the TNT for wizard... my image version is 1.2.0.0 and rom image that i'm trying to upload to is 3.0. after my phone enters the bootloader mode no downloading occurs and it says that i need a newer utility update......... does anyone know what is wrong and how to fix this problem???
Did you try to use the RUU equipped with ROM itself, not your own version?
the same problems occur........ it always say's that i need a newer update version no matter what file i use with it............ do you think that it is my computer?
I had the same problem. I was using Vista and the rom I was loading had a vista loader in it but it would not work. I use VMware so I loaded it in xp and still had the same problem. I used the loader from another ROM and it worked fine, so not sure why the TNT loader would not work.

i had an imate jamin and i tried to upgrade it to wm6 today. but after i performed a hard reset my device has stucked in the imate blue screen and didnt boot!!!!
i managed to enter the three color bootloader screen by pressing the camera button while restarting the device, then i ran the RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_NVID but it constantly gives me the error 260 (cannot connect to device).
i am using vista

When i got my atom, it's running Windows mobile 5 then i upgrade to 6 by jiggs coz can't found 6.1 clean one.
after several days of searching, i found Atom Rom 6.1 from Helloword1 (only diskimg.nb0) then i download pc update from his threat to update. i perform all update, it complete successfully.
i want to try rom from hp witch is recommend from Helloword1 to hp user, i found that the hardware of hp and atom are the same so i want to try that rom even there is warning from other user here.
i also download the atom kitchen of atom, put diskimg.nb0 to ROM directory in the kitchen then run Build Rom.bat when rom is generate i flash it to my atom using pc update from HP. this time i forget to delete Eboot.nb0 for HP so while updating My atom boot loader become HP logo that time i dare not to disconnect it from usb coz m afraid to brick my device, i wait till it finished
after reboot my atom's boot loader become HP and 02 Welcome screen!
i can aligne screen to complete windows setup but every apps not working even sync.
i try to search forum but no solution.
try to flash from SD card as suggest from Helloworld1 still can't
Then i take out the battery and press Send and End button for a while put battery back, it goes to HP boot loader then fasten i connect to pc this time i flash with HP ROM it's finished successfully but i can't even aligne screen but when i plug to my pc, it's connected so i have some hope to flash back to atom using Jiggs ROM

Congratulations! You saved your device from yourself! (I'm joking )
Too much interest history, man...I'm thinking, perhaps, you can SD flash bootloader only (ATOM, of course) for the next (if becomes), starting the HP's bootloader with an ATOM Eboot inside your mini SD. I don't know sure, but perhaps runs ok.
I'm totally agree with you that it's needed more info for people (specially newbies than I'm) about cooking tasks, procedures, kitchens for HP's 68xx.
Not only for customizing pourpouses, also for translations issues. Seems a lot of people are interested in to use some roms in their own language also, not only english.
If this becomes, I guess a bit more projection & bussiness for people that hardly develope these nice roms.

Thanks for ur commend man! i also tried to flash Eboot.nb0 fro SD card on that time, after place Eboot.nb0 on sd card, Enter boot loader by taking out battery Press Send + End button for a while, put battery back.
it show HP boot loader around 5 to 10 minutes, restart, every the same.

Sir can u give me a 6.5 ROM with procedure ? im just new here just bought an old atom secondhand from an old neighbor .... i used o2 mini before but it was lost now because someone robbed it inside my bag when i was asleep inside the bus from school ...please sir i want to try 6.5 ROm and very excited i also like rom by legalmantra if u dont have it just any 6.5 ROM with procedure...please help me Sir , thanks and more power ....

Sorry guy m not a cooker, m a user like u too. what i wrote above just a sharing with u guys. it's a mistake coz i want to use rom that is stable for HP.
I have tested all 6.5 ROM from PDAViet but bluetooth and wireless not working well, on the other hand rom from PDA Viet not a clean one.
Now day i still using 6.1 from Helloworld1, may i recommend you to use 6.1 by Helloworld1 till we can found 6.5 clean ROM like Helloworld1?

Yes I searched, could not find a helpful post that I could understand (unfortunately a lot of not-so-good english on these forums!).
I used the file 'windowsmobile2003se.exe' here;

It started loading fine, then when it came up with the progress bar to start updating, my device rebooted and is now stuck in bootloader.
When I try himaupgradeut.exe, it gives me a ERROR 101: Connection Error. USB is disabled in ActiveSync and I can see the device as "Microsoft USB Sync".
The USB still works (I can use mtty and xda2unlock in Windows XP and they both work fine). Is the device still recoverable?
I have hard reset (Power + Reset), removed and re-inserted battery and tried a normal reset, none of these work.
Can I please have some step-by-step instructions on how to recover the phone? The bootloader version is 1.06

Have you tryed leaving the battery out for 1 day or over night. Because that fixed some problems for me.

Yeah I've left the battery out overnight (about 12 hours to make sure the backup battery ran flat). It's still stuck on the boatloader.
It's just got the normal bootloader screen (Serial up top and 1.06 down the bottom) and this changes to USB when in the cradle, so the device seems to be fine.
Any ideas?

Yesterday I tried to upgrade my Qtek 2020 to the last rom available but something went wrong and now my PPC only shows the bootloader screen.
After hours of researching on Google I found this forum and this topic. I tried to do what is in utak3r tutorial but I can't connect to my PPC using mtty (usb port can't open) and I don't know why. :\
When I try himaupgradeut.exe, it gives me a ERROR 101: Connection Error too...
And finally when I run this script made by Clontarf it fails on the last step on writing to the SD card. It gives me a Error - Access Denied.
I don't know how to solve this. Would you please help me?
