[Q] Reord Audio with screen blank/off? Any app for this? - HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Just wondering is there an app that will allow me to record audio (not calls) with the screen off?
I want to be able to record conversations without it being too obvious (yes I know there are implications to that) and if I have the phone on with audio recorder running it'll be conspicuous.
I have a conversation with someone later today that I'd very much like to record for future reference (partly just so I don't forget all the details they'll be telling me) so it would be great if anyone knows a freebie app I can download that would enable this!
Thanks

if I recall correctly, Resco Audio Recorder might have had such an option a blanking screen after set time

[Q] Is there any way to record phone call one-way...

NOT two-way, but only record the OTHER SIDE?
Sometimes there are situations when I want to record the voice from the other side, and not my voice. Is this possible?
I've searched all the forum and found a lot about two-way recording but nothing like this. Can someone help?
Yea srry but that's not possible you can try and develop a cab from what they have from the two way calling it should be quite easy to.
Stupid question but i'll add it on here:
How do you even record a conversation 2 way? Do i need to install a special cab, or is it available on the phone untweaked?
guys when you get a cooked rom it has it installed extract it and start to devlop and add the feature.
oh i forgot to mention my phone model... it's htc hd2.
on hd2 you can record two-way by a simple registry tweak.
and for xperia x1 there is a modified driver that makes two-way recording possible.

i use vito audio notes for this. it cuts in as soon as the other side answer (or you answer incoming) and you can reg tweak it to save wherever you like. Im sure other progs are just as good at it.
The key, if you are on a non-3.14 rom is to make sure you apply the two way calling reg tweak, else you only get your side.
Thanks. Meanwhile I found another tool called Auto Phone Call Recorder. But I should give Vito audio notes a try since there're some more interesting options (like VAS)
where is VITO Audio Notes........... ?
tried typing it into google?

This one i know what i'm talking about....
call recording depends on local and state laws. Some states/countries it is against the law to record phone conversions. While it other only one of the two party members must be made aware of the recording and very very few allow one to record a phone call with out either member knowing.
I would first HIGHLY suggest looking into your local laws regarding this prior to doing it. You could get in some trouble over it.
I know Google Voice will allow you to record incoming calls, but not out going calls. Other than that i do not know of program that will allow you to do this.
this is mainly for when i call customer service lines so there is no problem as they record it as well. plus i'm in a state where only one party (myself) needs to be informed.
edit: tried vrecorder but it records from microphone. no biggie but who likes to use speakerphone?
i read somewhere that android itself limits the recording. can anyone clear this up for me?
I've tried a few of them- all of them were OK if using speaker. without speaker only your voice can be heard and the other side only very faint, if heard at all.
now I an using "record my call" (with the ugly big red button) and it is relatively working fine most of the time. I like it because it enables you to classify as important, delete record etc after the call...
Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA App
Android doesn't have any mechanism for recording incoming audio in the OS. For some reason it's missing, even though Android is not bound to US borders, and call recording is perfectly legal in other parts of the world. This is the reason why there are few programs to record calls on Android, and none of them work w/o using speaker.
The only existing way to record would be to put the phone on speaker and use any voice recorder you want.
I use "allcallrecorder" just search for it in the market. Works great for me.

Disable calls when recording video

I just wanted to know if there is a setting or something that can stop calls from coming in when recording video on the S3. I noticed that text messages wont notify or interrupt recordings, but a phone call will stop the recording dead in its' tracks.
Hopefully there is a setting that I missed. Or, is this something Tasker could do? Maybe enabling airplane mode when recording and then disabling when stopped? IDK, I'm not real familiar with Tasker at all.
I appreciate the help. Sorry if this has been discussed, but I didn't find anything when searching.

An app that fixes BLUETOOTH audio delay. ?

I've been looking for days on end, but I can't seem to find an app that fixes the delay in bluetooth speakers. For example, it would fix the delay for netflix so the sound matches the video.
I think that this delay is all software based, because Chrome and YouTube don't have delay, but most other apps do.
I was thinking, if this hasn't been created yet, which I don't know why because so many people complain about delayed bluetooth speakers, that it can't be that hard to create.
Like for example, just make it so you open the app, and it puts a sort of slider in the notification bar for you to adjust whatever is on the screen to sync with the video.
or maybe have the app open other apps from inside it and work like that? I have very little experience in coding,
So if anyone could explain to me why an app that syncs the screen with the audio doesn't exist, please tell me!
little more details, I'm using the speaker on my new Nexus 7 2013, and I also have a Nexus 4.
the speaker is a Jawbone Jambox. I bought so I could watch Netflix without headphones, but that's the only app the speaker isn't in sync, apart from.. every single game application.
thanks for any replies!

Recording phone calls on android 11

To record a phone call and keep it for myself or my lawyer, is legal in my country.
Hi guys, how is it going?
May i ask for your help, please?
I had android 6(on huawei phone) and i used to record with the app "cube acr", everything worked fine.
Now i own a phone with android 11, i downloaded cube acr but i cannot record, i hear very very low volume.
If i change the recording source i cannot hear anything, it is completely silent.
If i use the "default" phone dialer app, which is "google phone", i can record and the recording is very good in terms of audio.
But i dont like it because is not automatic plus i hear "recording started". Also i read that the other person might know that im recording them.
I want cube acr app to work or a similar app, i dont like google recording.
Can anyone help me or suggest me a way to fix the problem so i can record with a third-party app?
Do you think there is a problem somewhere? Maybe a conflict of some sort?
Thanks happy new year.
If you installed the cube acr app from Google Play Store and you are used to this recording app, I suggest you contact the developer of this app for help.
Perhaps, he/she will develop & distribute a new edition which perfectly supports Android 11 soon.
