[Q] HDR for HD2? - HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there any possibility to take HDR photos on HD2? Best way would be to integrate such feature right into the built-in camera app (iPhone-like)....
Thanks in advance, Pete.

I was just about to ask the same question.
I searched other threads and there is still no word about app that would enable us to get HDR.
HDR is strictly software level based so it shouldnt be too hard for someone to make app or modify ROM so we can use it.
iphone and Android didnt have it,but now they can enjoy this feature.
Hopefully someone will make that app for us.

Do you have the apk? I will install it on my phone and see if it works on mine:... Does the camera open or show from the camera? On some devices it has a different activity name..

We don't know how much experienced you are with android programming. So it's difficult to answer. Have you made any attempt at all in creating the app?

RAW compatibility.

Lollipop let us to take a RAW picture.
I know that Sony lock that feature even we are in Lollipop ROM.
The question is there any tweak so we can force take a RAW picture?
I hope someone is working for this feature.
Thanks.

its not a feature at all ( the api is not used at all )
it uses the raw support in terms of exif data but thats all
So is there any possibilities to tweak it?

whats the point of tweaking exif data
you need to add camera api support to a the stock kernel and write a specific app to utilize it
So a custom kernel can help?!

Click to collapse
not just a custom kernel
a custom kernel modified for this which i doubt any pros would want to do so much hard work on something like this
Mayby porting some part of OPO kernel ,as it has RAW support and its camera app was allready ported i think?Anyway yeah even that would need a great amount of work, just btw - for RAW we need "camera api v2"?
I was really hoping for sony to add a RAW support as i work a lot in lightroom and i use my phone like a "support device" for my D300 so it would be nice to take full advantage of what its 20.7mp camera can do, i guess few people would have their reasons but thats not enough.

"Open Camera" app - recommended settings for indoor concert photos?

Ive just wondered for anyone who uses this app, which settings youve found turn out best while at a concert?
I didnt feel this was appropriate to ask in the development thread for this app as im not requesting or suggesting features or development or anything.... Im just wondering which settings to take advantage of to have my photos turn out the best?
Any advice appreciated
