If you accidentally deleted it, you can get a stock sbf and extract the apk. You can use sbf_flash -x in Linux to extract CG39.img and unffs2 to extract /system

I've installed dexters froyo. There's no 3d Gallery!

Dexter has added the Gallery now!

[Q] HTC Sense Live Wallpaper -> CM6.1?

Hi...
Has anyone managed to port the HTC Sense Live Wallpaper to CM6.1?
I've not seen any links on this...
Yep, basically just took the files from one of the froyo sense roms & pushed them into same directories in CM6.1 with ADB. Worked perfectly.
Ah! thank you mate...
Cheers!

system/lib/libiculx.so
system/lib/libmode10_wallpapers.so
system/app/Mode10Wallpapers.apk

I tried to push the files but the Sense LWP does not appear in the selection menu. Do you push these via adb or flash them as .ZIP ?
Through ADB, you need to be in recovery mode though as can't write to system otherwise.
thanks previn! it works
i made this zip file to flash with rom manager, for everyone with CM 6.1
update for 2.3
here is the sense LWP for gingerbread/cm7

[Q] Deleted Gallery now I need help

Ok half of the problem is I deleted the gallery from my Eris running vanilla tazz 26. I mistook it for something else when I was deleting it.
After searching I found this over on the desire forums:

EDIT:
New version for Froyo, support for 24bit color and the full resolution on your camera!
Download HERE
Hey,
Here's the file to install Gallery 3D to the Desire.
You have 2 ways of installing:
1) Install Android USB Driver (search for it) run the following commands:
adb install <filename and path>
2) Copy to SD Card, open in a file manager (make sure "install from unknown sources" is checked in menu) (untested)
New version:
Gallery works great, launches camera, and plays videos!

When I installed it everything seems to work fine except the camera button. It dosn't work because I also deleted the stock camera. I use FxCamera. I just like it better. When I'm in FxCamera and I push the gallery button it takes me to the 3dGallery I installed which is perfect thats what I want it to do.
My question is when I'm in 3dGallery and I push the camera button can I make it automatically open FxCamera? Right now when I push the cam button in 3dgallery it just force closes. Thank you so much in advance.
To make it open fxcamera, I don't know. However if you ever want your gallery and camera back, an easy way is to just pull them out of the roms .zip file.
Edit: I suppose you would have to decompile the gallery3d.apk and edit some xml to change the targeted app to open when that button is pushed

I'm not an expert or guru of any kind when it comes about building ROM's but I do know from my past in programming that the latter one might be the right answer to your issue.
Try adding the apk into the zipped rom file. You just open the zip to view contents (no extract) and place the apk files where they need to be. The zip will update and can then be flashed. I've been doing this with MeanRom replacing the htc music app with the one from CleanRom which has better sound enhancer options. Of course I'm just replacing an already existing apk in the Rom. It may be different if you're adding apps that aren't already present but it's worth a shot. Make sure to make a backup of your current set up first.
Looks like those apk files should be placed in yourromname/data/app. That's what I'm seeing in mean and clean roms

i've never done this before and am not sure what to do.
i downloaded the ota files and magic iso. i assume that i open the disc image file? i tried this and it says "can't find the file or the file isn't a cd image file!"
But how did you get it lost???

Renane signed_system to system.img i.e. and try magic iso again.
Don't think folks will provide you their e-mail app for security reasons.
If you got it really messed, flash an ota rom, anyway...
Thanks

What ROM did you install? If the Developer removed Blur from the phone it might not be as simple as re-installing the stock email app.
However, I'm currently running Abysm Extreme 1.1 which has the stock email app removed. All I did was download the standard version of the ROM which includes the old Gingerbread email app, extracted the email.apk, dropped it on my SD Card and installed it.
hope this helps.
I have included all 4 apk with email in their name form system/apps folder.
Good luck

Push the linked apk
This mod was suppose to be for deodexed custom ROMs only. I'll make another patch for odex ROM and post an update.
If anyone can deodex it right now and give me a link I'll appreciate it as I don't have the tools right now to make one.
Or maybe try removing the /system/app/HTCAlbum.odex file and see if it will work.

I push that but it doesnt work, the error is device not found. I did check the usb and everything good

So if i flash the zip file i'd still have to push the apk thru ADB?

If device is not found is because you don't have /system in r-w...
Are you on stock rom?

If you flash the zip, you don't need push the apk.
But flash it ONLY if you're on de-odex rom.
For the ppl having issues with the mod, you could just freeze Facebook engines with titanium backup or uninstall, disable Facebook from system apps, and reinstall. This way u will still have Facebook but not in gallery or blinkfeed.
Does this mod only remove facebook or the entire online services square?
Hi guys! I have made an update for this mod. Please refer to the main thread at the moment
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=41424874
It should address the issues with those that have odexed ROMs and if it fails I also provided a flashable zip to restore back the original gallery app.
@denisesballs
It removes only the facebook & picasa friends images on the main window of the gallery. The online services folder is still there because if you click it you would have the option to view the photo's that was suppose to be shown on the main gallery window.
To make it plain and simple this mod removes the cluttered pictures of facebook & picasa on your gallery not remove the social plugin of the gallery. Although I'm planning on making a mod that totally removes it soon.
For the people that just want to hide the pictures from gallery.
