Hi, this is my first post! I have had a pda2k for a year now,and have been extremely happy with it, but now I am considering on purchasing a Tyntyn.
Is the a stand for the tyntyn that one can use to elevate the unit while reading/writing with the keyboard out?Or also use it whith a bluetooth virtual keyboard (for extended typing time..)
Cheers

expansys is supposed to be coming out with a cradle/charger with a spare battery slot...eventually

Is this what your after?
It's more like this

but for a desk, it's a support for the Tytyn with the keyboard out that raises and gives the phone a slight inclination(angle) so that you can type without looking downwards...
Guys thanks for bieng patient it turned out to be more diffucult to explain than I first thought... so once again thanx!

Hi, yes the Brodit table stand coupled with the Brodit passive holder 848691 allows the keyboard to be open and will sit happily as the most designer looking device holder availabble, it looks like a trophy! Plus you can then dock your usb cable to sync/chrage whilst its in the holder fixed to the tablestand. Hope that helps,
bryson
YES!!! there you go!! this is perfect! It really does the trick, thanks!!

[Q] Dockable with official Asus case?

Does anyone happen to know if you can place the TF in its keyboard dock when the tablet is in its official Asus case? I'd be surprised if that would work, but I thought I'd double-check.
Ron
the dock port is exposed (I assume for USB and charging) but not the side clamps.

[Q] Function of the Basic Dock

Charging Dock?

I have not been able to find this anywhere. Doe's anybody know if this will have a upright charging dock? I have seen a lot reviews that state the charging points have been removed to help make the tablet thinner. It would look really weird and be very inconvenient to have to plug this bad boy in using the mini USB port at my desk.
I asked this question a long time ago, and I didn't get an answer because it was to new. so now maybe somebody can tell me.

I do not believe Sony will create an upright charging dock for the Xperia Z4 tablet seeing that the USB port is the only charging connection. If there is a reason you need the tablet to sit upright while it is being charged, you could just use a folding folio case to do it.
The missing docking possibilities are really a disadvantage compared to tablet Z and Z2!
Please Sony! We expect magnetic (or wireless) charging dock back in next generation! !

Yes there is, its the DK53 Micro USB charging dock, just attach the right fitting to hold the tablet in place
Can confirm this as i work for Sony

Anyone know if there's a lead to connect the supplied Asus keyboard to the tablet?

I'm almost sure the answer is no having spent a lot of time on Google!
I do a lot of traveling and writing. I'd like to use the screen in portrait mode, rather than landscape.
Obviously I can use the keyboard on it's side! But a lead from the docking posts would let me flip it over.
I've tried BT keyboards and they all have issues.
Anyone know if there is such a lead?
Thanks
