I use this on my own phone and love it.... I am happy to answer questions about installation if they come up, but feel the need to post the usual disclaimer of.... while there is no reason this should do anything negative to your phone as long as you follow the directions, should you brick your phone or cause your phone to act goofy, or drop your phone in the toilet, neither the lcars custom boot animation or myself are in any way shape or form responsible for it. If you don't like that then don't download it.

Both the splash, and the boot/down animations work great! I was just googling this last night to see I could find it, and here it is. Thanks, great work!
Where is the PG86IMG?
Edit: Nevermind. Installing now.
It's in the attachment, PG86IMG-LCARS21Splash.zip
You need to rename it PG86IMG.zip, put it on the root of your SD card, and boot into the bootloader. Press Vol-Up when prompted if you want to install.

I plan on doing it... as soon as I get some time... I have a 40hr/wk job and on top of that I'm a US Soccer Referee... so with the soccer season just starting, free time is limited to say the least...
Things should calm down soon though and I can get to work on a full LCARS theme

No worries I am in the same situation. I'll pull a few things together and post some images. I'd just stepped in the door in doing the android theme process. I tend to be more about aesthetics with colors with some lcars elements to suit my own tastes. I welcome your thoughts. This is from my star trek HD iPhone theme I made.
Seriously I would kill for an lcars home replacement. ...of course this would lead to nerd induced suicide by my wife, but still.

this is my first contribution to anything android, so please give constructive criticism and i will do the same
I saw @teamsilence23 posted a tweet about needing a boot animation for the Glacier's first custom rom. So i thought what the hell and tried it out. I dont know much about editing pictures with any sort of smoothness, but i hope that this can be a learning experience hah not entirely sure about editing the desc.txt for speed and such, so i left it alone.
I am planning on doing more to this boot animation, and am more than happy to take requests, ideas, instructions. So please help me learn!
Zip file should be placed in
/system/customize/resource/
So whether you do it by ADB, root explorer, etc. is up to you.
I am leaving this on the short side since I need to get to sleep, but if there is anything wrong with this post or it's contents, I am more than happy to change it with as much enthusiasm as possible

There are all kinds of boot animations available form a thread elsewhere in this forum (using one),
What would be nice would be a few splash screens in a format that could(?) be installed with MetaMorth specifically for the MT4G (not Evo), or hopefully without the very convoluted guide in another thread (just not worth all that for a splash screen).
Really hate that white TMo stock splash.
A metamorph version would be really nice and simple. I'll look into it! Thanks for the input!

I'm a photographer and graphic designer and I would LOVE that boot ani.
I can't test this right now because I don't have my AC plug, but here it is adapted for the Atrix. I removed the shutdown animation stuff to save on file size since I don't think the Atrix would run them anyway.

Of course, you will need CWM to install the above package. If you prefer not to use CWM, then just download the package above, extract it, copy the bootanimation.zip file to your SD card, then use root explorer to place it in /system/media and set its permissions to rw-r--r--.

there are no sounds with this one.

Thanks! Just saw this and made me excited to see how it works.
I'd run home to try it out if I didn't have to be at a final in 45 minutes... definitely going to be one of the first things I do when I get out.

Flashed via CWM... sound didn't work. Is there something special that I should do?
The desc.txt had to be updated to include the audio. It must not have been needed on the other phone it was designed for. I've added a download link to the other post where the aperture bootanimation is.

Unlock screen is awesome
I just installed the sound one on page 1 and it works great. Sound is very clear. Good job =)

Looks like a custom widgetlocker lockscreen.. shouldn't be too hard to replicate.

Hey guys, spent a ton of time on this!!! I hope you like it and please hit Thanks if you do!!! It is not a CWM file, I use Absolute System Tools (boot animation goes in goodies folder) to install it but i'm sure there are other ways if you know your way around the rom you are using. I'll give you a few snippets but it's worthwhile checking it out for yourself.... Enjoy and don't forget Thanks!

0:33 to 0:48 would be pretty much perfect. It could stay on Mileena wins at the end, or just repeat. Not sure how the whole thing works.
I think it would make a pretty cool edit for an Android/Apple thing like the one you originally posted as well. Nothing cooler than an Android ripping off Apple's torso

0:15 to 0:30 would be pretty epic with the apple being eaten.
No rush on getting anything done for me though. The fact that you will even consider it is awesome and much appreciated.
EDIT: If you meant the end, the Android + Google = Fatality bit is still great. I like it. If you would like to reuse that with Mileena on the end instead of Cage, that would be awesome. Or get creative, it's your work and I will be more than happy with anything you might put out for me
