no.
and it also make installing the Original ROM for other version of Titan impossible. i mean you don't have anything like gold card to install the US version on your UK phone like we can do on HD2 with goldcard.

You mean I won't be able to hspl the phone and install custom roms?

No, custom roms are possible, but not offficial rom for other region phone.
Like you can use Gold Card to install OEM Europe HD2 Rom for Asia HD2.

I would pay someone to sodder 32gb of storage to put on my phone

Frankly this is a killer for me. Love the device, but 16GB(12GB) is just not doable. In these days of expandable memory built in 64GB in mobile devices it's just a silly move. Especially considering the retail cost of 32GB is so low (cost to an OEM would be peanuts), why on earth would a manufacturer put anything less than that in a device like this!!!

I agree. At the very least they could have offered both 16GB and 32GB versions simultaneously. My Focus was expanded to 24GB, and I used about 12GB of it. My Titan will be pretty much full when I get it. However, I'll probably keep the Titan as a stop gap until Nokia 900 or an LTE WP7 phone with 32GB shows up. That will be the ultimate phone.

Yup. The Nokia 900 or whatever it will be called will be my next phone. I replaced the 8gb in my Mozart with a 32gb but the battery life is an issue with it to use as my daily phone. That, factored with no flashlight function ( a good one) and HTC insist on putting tiny little speakers on the back of their phones!!!
HTC should get some real world input into specing their hardware for users.

How to disassemble to replace internal MicroSDHC

I am wanting to remove the SanDisk 32GB MicroSDHC card I installed inside my Sprint HTC Arrive and install it inside my new AT&T Titan II.
I am presuming the Titan II has an internal slot and I can just replace the card and reformat the phone like with the HTC Arrive, correct?
Thanks!
Dear the Titan uses NAND memory not an SD card, you can't remplace it!

Not correct in this case. My Arrive was much faster after the upgrade than my Titan II currently is and I am having glitches with my Titan II. My Arrive used a combination of NAND flash internal plus an internal MicroSDHC card.
Sorry for my English, but I think you understand.
In Moscow live guy, that upgrade Titan to 64GB. Like he said, he replace memory to 2x32GB. He is from 4pda, one of first, who starting made roms by WM.
The impossible, is possible. Believe in yourself and everything will come true!

[Q] uppgrade titan I with micro to 32 gb

Well friend, I would like to know if you can do the memory upgrade to titan since I'm about to buy a micro sd either 32gb or 64gb, I would like to know if you can do this update and how is it done?
regards
Memory is nand not sdcard. It's not possible to upgrade.

If you're looking to get this phone, I highly reccomend you buy a MicroSD card to go with it. You can get a 32GB one for as low as £10

Well yea, she's got a micro SD from a previous phone.
I'm only asking because "2.2 GB user available space" doesn't tell me much about how much is available for APPS. We all know app2sd doesn't solve this. I had the original Desire, which lacked internal app space and I dont wan't her to experience that. Can someone with the Desire X just post a screenshot of the "Manage apps" section which shows available space ?
Here you go. Its in Czech but you can see the numbers. I have around thirty five apps installed

Awesome, seems like a nice buy. Xperia J/Miro/U have less space for apps, smaller and have less RAM. So DX seems to be a nice buy. S3 mini is also nice, but that's like 50€ extra (everything is always just 50€ extra away).
How big is the system partition, guys?
System is 940 MB, data is 1 GB, another 1 GB towards an "internal SD".

WOW... nice phone! Is it a world phone? I saw GSM on the last paragraph, hoping someone can clarify whether this would work on t mobil
Edit: according to this article it is using the quad core pro chip... I read elsewhere it was using the dual core s4 processor. But I agree esp. If using the quad core chip this looks pretty solid

meh. I'll be waiting for something with a removable battery and micro SD. I just can't be bothered to spend that kind of cash and get something that could get a pooched battery, then what? Besides, nothing beats having a fresh battery. I've been through 4 already with my amaze, which is inconvenient, so what do you do with one that's out of warranty and you get battery issues?
1080p screen 5" screen + HTC phone + LTE + 2020 mAh non replaceable battery = a phone that will barely get you through your work day, if even that.

Truly a game changer with a battery you can replace and the ability to add memory. No micro SD / no removable battery = Sad phone

The lack of an SD card slot is really the only downside of the new Nexus 4. Truly a tragedy...

Google doesn't like SD cards, so I guess other Android OEMs are following too. Read this: http://androidcommunity.com/googles...s-lack-of-sd-cards-in-nexus-devices-20121030/
I'm happy to hear that the Nexus 4 DOES support USB OTG so I can always plug in my external hard drive or flash drive to the phone.

HTC is doing it because they think people care more about how thin the phone is. That's y they got rid of sd card slots and removable batteries

I added this comment there. I'm baffled by that reasoning...
"If someone can figure out how to connect a Nexus device to their PC using a USB, then I'm fairly certain they wouldn't not suddenly become overwhelmed by this "fandangled device" called an external SD card.
They weren't too complicated for people to use in their cameras, and they even had them in their PCs.
You know what's more complicated? Pairing a Bluetooth device, or NFC and yet these technologies remain persistent....
An SD card, you simply pop it in the slot, and if they don't know it's there, then they're not going to lose sleep over it. No settings pop ups, no panic."
It's a cop out to not include them. And there is more motivation to pay for the higher memory device. It's too bad and on occasion I'm sure the normal user doesn't know which one it is saved to... Why not have the slot, but not include a card. That way those who find the concept 'complicated' don't have to bother with purchasing one and others can... Oh well Google, you're crazy!

no kidding. Just briefly looking up the crapple 5, going from 16 to 32 costs you $100, and from 32 to 64 another $100. You can get a 32gig micro sd for $30, there goes their 'profit'.
All it takes is one manufacturer to see what the rest are doing, and offer the feature that people demand, and sell a ton of devices.

Apps 2 SD Failure

Ok im having this problem where apps 2 sd doesnt want to work for me.... check this image
But i do think huawei blocked move to sd feature.... so how do fix it new kernal?
Sent from my MediaPad 7 Lite using xda app-developers app
It's not a kernel thing. Your device has most likely has enough storage and ram to accommodate the rom, your stuff and storage for your apps. My device, GS3's and probably more really have no problem with this. My captivate on the other hand had such little ram and phone storage, the emmc chip was partitioned with 1.5gb of phone storage, 550 megs of rom storage and the rest USB(13gb or so) However moving apps also meant widgets wouldn't work. Hope this shines a little light on the situation.

Ok so is there any way of fixing that because i have a empty 16gb and the tablet holds 8gb and has like 3 mount points for the one sd card
