the 9th was an old release date. Most likely it is false considering all of the problems amazon has been having
im confused about the canadian amazon one, i thought they wernt going to start sending them to people until after christmas.

its all speculative. dates have been seen from the 16th all the way to january of the next year. Since the release date is UNKNOWN for all retailers right now
I have a gold and a gray on pre-order from Best Buy.com, they were selling both.
Asus UK Facebook says arriving January in the UK, 499 combo, tablet + keyboard.

yup. with amazon, you have until the day before it ships to cancel i believe.
Canada BB and Futureshop are expected on the 22nd.

I've looked through the threads on this forum and transformerforums.com and from what I can tell according to posts here is that the first time pre-ordering was possible from following US sellers was at those dates:

We also have Adorama that is not listed by Asus, who was first mentioned on 1st December.
This might be helpful to figure out how likely it is or is not that you are part of the first batch or not. But do note that these dates are only the first time someone mentioned here or in transformerforums.com that pre-ordering is possible from those sellers, they might have been up for pre-orders already before that.

The Champagne tablet doesn't have much info, just says street date was 12/12, nothing for in-stock date.
The Grey one says street date of 12/18 and in-stock date of 1/08, so I would say that is when you can expect the stores to start receiving inventory.

I don't think you have to worry about finding a Matching keyboard for grey tablet. Maybe right out of the gate. But not after that.

A guy at future shop told me i didn't need to preorder the device as they don't even have preorders up and not many people will even know about the device in my medium town area.

I'd take take with a grain of salt. Future shop has the Prime up for pre-order, Sold out though. Also all the other Big Box staores in Canada Best Buy pre-order sold out today. Staples.ca has the four models listed for pre-order. All sold out except for the 32gb Champagne miodel.
Yes, they wil be in the stores, but I doubt before Christmas, but just a hunch on my part. Good luck.

Yah I definitely wouldn't listen to that best buy guy. If they were guarunteed to get some stock in store then sure maybe. But as it is right now, and was for the original there was only online orders for quite awhile. I was getting my mom to order from bestbuy.ca since I am visiting the family in calgary for christmas and figured I might as well save on taxes but she hasn't done it yet and now they are sold out!
I've pre-ordered mine through Best Buy on 11/25, and under Order Status it says Release Date is 12/18/11. Not sure I would trust that, but I'm hoping this means I can get it before Christmas...

$150 is the price I see online and in the inventory system.
I pre-ordered from BB and it says 12/18. So I'm wondering, if Newegg and Gamestop have earlier dates and they turn out to be the correct release date, would Bestbuy hold back their release? I cannot think of a logical reason that they would do something like that.

You might be aware of the increase in price of the prime in Europe with the conversion in Euros...
I was thinking of buying just the tablet from the states and wait to buy the Spanish version of the dock. I have asked some of the official sellers and they can send it to me all right but they do not provide any substantial detail in how much the tax will be...
Do you guys know if it is worthy? Also have you ever tried any of those companies like "Unibox" which create for you an US address and they mail you the products?
Does anyone know for a fact whether Best buy charges at the time of order or shipping. Their sales department online is saying at the time of order

+1. If BestBuy doesn't charge until the tablet is shipped, and we know the tablet will be in stores say two days before it's released, then I would love to cancel my preorder and wait out in line for it.
It's now the 8th of December. I am curious to everybody who had a pre-order from best buy, does yours still say 12/18/2011 sa the release date and also, does it say "in process"?

i just found out today that the place a "hold" on your debit card every 8 days, despite what the email says about not being charged until the item shipped.
I ordered on 11/25 and was charged $531 twice since then. Caused a bunch of stuff to bounce and caused me to be charged over 200 bucks in overdraft fees. If I'd have known this was going to happen, I could've moved some money around to cover. My fault for not checking, I guess, but I was some pissed.
When I called the other day (the 2nd time I was charged), she said it was because it was in the warehouse and shipping was imminent. When that charge was removed (like the first one; this is when I found out they do it every 8 days) I called back. Today, the supervisor I spoke with said I should just cancel my order, as the SKU is no longer in the system and orders will be canceled. I told her not to touch it, as I wasn't trusting anything anyone was telling me.
I'm pretty pissed about the whole thing, but can't cancel b/c this is what the old lady wants for Xmas. We'll see, I guess.

Bought mine on the 26th and I have the same "In Progress" and 12-18-2011 date.
Ordered on 11/3 and still shows 12/18 in process.
My temp charge was removed today and BB CSR told me they have no information on availability, other than the stated 12/18/11 release date.
Mine says same ...
Order date 12/4, Release 12/18 (that's different from ship date), champagne tablet only.
try searching the sku for the champagne one on BB website. It's gone. silver one is there still (i think).

Ordered 32g Grey on 11/28 and still showing "In-Process" with a release date of 12/18.
When I called Best Buy a couple of days ago, they said that I should expect mine to be shipped so that I have it by 12/18 (not sure how they would do that since 12/18 is a Sunday). Here's hoping that I have it on 12/16 or 12/19 at worst. I also paid for next day shipping.
Ordered 32GB champagne and dock on 12/1. Mine still says 12/18 for TFP and 12/31 for dock.
Mine is the same, ordered a 32gb Champagne 11-29. My dock ordered the same time shows 12-31.

Best Buy is making me crazy (and poor)
I got beat at Amazon with a Prime IN MY CART on the 23rd. I let it sit for an hour, knowing my debit card might take the full hit if I hit "Purchase" When I finally hit the button, it was too late. Went from "Pre-order" to "We will email you" Best thing ever happened to me. 1st: My Prime was a 32 gb Amethyst Grey: same model that was on all those cancellations. Who know if I would have got hit. AND: I complained in a series of escalating emails, and got: $100 credit toward anything Amazon sells and ships instead of the $20-30 most folks got. HA!
Went to BestBuy, next biggest retailer, right after the pre-order link went back up (was down on December 1st for half a day- said "Not Available" Pulled the trigger Dec 2nd - Tablet only (figured I'd get Dock at Amazon when stock came back, using my credit. When BB debited my account in 15 seconds (I had my bank account open in another tab) I panicked and canceled the order. Then freaked again, when I realized the pre-orders were limited (and they were) so I called "The credit will show up in 24-48 hours" I was told, so I placed a SECOND Order. Guess what: Both debits are still on my account. My bank said 3 days from when credit is issued. Well, BB must be holding back - it's 7 days now, and I am out $1130 - no credit for the canceled order (though it shows that way on BB site.
As for my valid order: same as everyone:
"In Process"
"Order Status: 1 item(s) preordered, release date is 12/18/11"
I have called: 3 times, and gotten 3 different answers: We are getting them on the 18th, should ship out soon after that"
"We are getting them on the 19th"
"We are getting them on the 16th, and should start shipping same day.
All supposedly read right off the BB system....
Oh, and if they tell you your order is "Verified"? That means the MONEY is verified, and BB knows they have you money, all set, no problemo, we are getting PAID, by you, so we are all set! oh... you want to know about YOU? Shipping? Stock? Release? Policies? (We have policies galore, in fact, we come up with new variations all day long!)
I just want the damn thing, and if they ship on 18th or within a day or two, cool.. (19th is a Sunday folks, so even if they package on 19th, nothing is going out that day) Oh... and Mr. BestBuy sir... where is my $#@& CREDIT!!!!?????
PS: I ordered a dock from GameStop of all places, as they were the only place left today that had a dock with an actual release date: Frys:"Unknown" J&R: "Unknown" Gamestop: December 13th ! Whee, I can type on it and pretend I have a tablet (my TF101 is gone, shipped back for refund)
Only issue: Freaking Gamestop will NOT state the freaking COLOR of the freaking DOCK!!!

I order my 360 on September 5th, got an email on September 17 saying my watch was being built and then this evening received an email from Motorola saying they were having issues. Hopefully they will expedite fixing these issues.

Update Friday Oct 2nd: I received my Moto360 today. It only ended up being 4 days beyond the original estimated delivery date. Looks like Moto is trying to quickly fix the issues they were having.
I received an email saying mine was being built on the 13th to be delivered by the 25th and got the same email
I'm on the UK.
Bought it on the 17, had the delivery date estimated for the 24, but not it's set to the 5th of October. Cant wait for it
Just got an email saying it will now be delivered by Oct 7th. Used to be Sept 25th

When I ordered it, my delivery estimate was the 2nd of October.
When it dispatched, it said 7th of October.
But when I came into work today, there it was, sitting on my desk*. It is beautiful. I am charging it now
*I checked the tracking last night before I went to bed and the status said it was in bloody China. Maybe Motorola's next product is a teleporter?

- Sept. 5th preordered
- Sept 17th email being built, estimate delivery Sept 29th
- Sept 26th email from Moto VP sorry we are experience technical difficulties
- Sept 28th email from Moto Sorry it will be late, estimate delivery Oct 8th
- Sept 30th (today) email from Moto Your watch is on the way.
I now have a Fedex tracking number and my Moto will be here on Friday Oct 2nd before 10AM. So Moto seems to be working hard to correct the issues, I hope everyone else gets their preorders straight in the next day.

I got a tracking number for my unit yesterday saying it will be delivered by thursday. Today I wake up to check and it says Shipment documentation indicates value discrepancy. Correct value of shipment is required.
Recommended action:
Shipper or Importer must confirm or verify value of goods.
Just to share, I ordered my 42mm silver case / silver bezel, cognac leather on the 18th. While placing the order it said it would be delayed due to the silver bezel and it would be delivered Oct 6th. Last night I received the "I'm sorry" email followed a few hours later with a revised delivery date email stating 10/14.

Bought mine at the local Best buy last Thursday, the 24th. The only 1 men's style they had in stock and it was the 42mm black with black leather band. Since then I've ordered the black 42mm with the metal band from best buy and it will be delivered today at which point I'll take this leather one back. The 46mm watches are an unknown... though I can pre order one, the site can't tell me when to expect it and there was definitely a 2 week delay on any watch, 42mm or 46 mm, with metal bands. Motorola screwed something up.

Here in the UK, Moto Maker is currently saying the metal bands are "out of stock". No option to even place an order.
Man, I'm lucky, I only placed my order (with a metal band) on the evening of the 25th. There's nothing physically wrong with the band so I can only imagine Motorola incorrectly estimated the demand for metal bands. For some reason.
UK: Ordered 42mm Silver/Silver with Black Leather Band (Metal not available ). Ordered on 16th, Build Complete same day, ETA 23rd Sept. Now 01/10 and I've not even had a "it's delayed" email. No new ETA/. Nothing. Poor.
Please let us all know when someone sees movement for AT&T Note 7. Appears TMO is seeing the love first.

I ordered from bestbuy. Just got the watch which most likely will sell. I called att retention and threatened to go to Tmobile. They gave me a 100 dollar credit. Upgraded my 15gig family plan to 20 gig with no price increase. And added 100 dollars off for each phone i bought in the near future. I plan to get my son a phone in the next couple of months and my wife iPhone in September.

Ordered mine on the 5th (Black Onyx) and was notified of a problem with my order yesterday. Contacted them and fixed the issue and now it's showing this... My account ordered through the Premier website btw. Not sure if that makes a difference, but I suspect it does.

Its looking like a lot of people are pre ordering the black onyx version maybe that could be the reason for the backorder status.

When I spoke to the Premier Business support rep yesterday he didn't say it was on backorder and that I will be getting it this week.

Ordered from best buy, too (black onyx). Got my watch, and really like it. Already learned how to design my own watch faces. Keep an eye out for an at&t promo that i got about 1 1/2 years ago. It is 30GB for the price of 15GB. It's bound to show up again. Probably around Christmas.
i ordered on samsung.com .. i called and got the most depress customer service agent ever from the sound of his voice.
i was told it would ship on the 19th... owell..
I talked to an AT&T rep today and he assured me that my order has been processed and will be shipped either 8/16 or 8/17. He verified that my order was not on back order either. He did say that if there is a problem they will hold one for me at my local store on launch day since my order was guaranteed. I'm also a premier business customer, maybe that's why I was promised one either way.

I just spoke with a Premier biz rep and she confirmed my order is shipping today and that I'll have a email by the end of the day. She said everyone that calls the order status line is getting a back ordered msg by default. If in doubt just ring up support and speak to an agent.

I also can confirm that my preorder of Black Onyx from 8/3 has finally changed to shipped on the order status page within the last half hour. FedEx overnight TX to STL MO delivery by 8pm on 8-18-16.
Placed my order in store on Aug. 8. Finally shows shipped via UPS as of an hour ago. Arrival on Friday.

I can verify that as well. Online it showed "preparing to ship", but when I checked using *6737# it said "backordered". Just received my shipping info about an hour ago for a delivery on Friday through UPS.

I have preorder at my local store where I live (Brno, Czech Republic) and I got sms with estimate delivery date 09/03/2017 but second preorder I made with Samsung directly says on 09/15/2017 and not earlier which confirmed guy from Samsung call centre.
I ordered the Note 8 orchid grey used my Note 7 trade in offer 425.00, USA website and said ship date would be the 9/11.
used trade in credit from my first Note 7 to order unlocked black on 8/26 and it says expected ship 9/11
used trade in credit from my second note 7 to order ATT Black today 8/28 and also says ship date 9/11

I called Samsung directly yesterday because the Web chat representative said they couldn't help with direct order information and they said all they know is the 9/14 release date. So getting these mixed messages from Samsung isn't a good sign.

I agree with you, history tells me so. I think the 11th is the most likely ship date. I've had my hopes up before and been let down before.
I ordered through Samsung although I'm with Sprint. I've seen both the 5th and 11th ship dates on Sprint's website. If the carriers did ship on the 5th, I'll bet Samsung will too. I'm sure Samsung actually sets those dates.
We can only hope Samsung ships early to make all us Note 7 people happy.

I just did another online chat and now they are saying it will START shipping September 15!? If so, I am going to blow up on these people!
