You could try the new version...or factory reset/wipe and then try re-flashing, might want to back up apps in Ti.

I had a similar issue when I sbfed. I got to to boot by first booting in "BP HW Diag & Boot AP" mode(Which did take a few minutes). After that every time I restarted the phone came on fine normally.
All else fails I try the

True.. Right now im trying the bootstrap method, to install a theme that resembles CM, I use smart keyboard pro to make the text keyboard look stock and player pro gives me stock music player .

This has happened a couple times when trying to flash 198_7 sbf from CM7. I either get into a bootloop or it won't boot at all. RSD status was rebooting device.
I pulled and reinserted the battery, went into Android recovery. At the triangle warning pressed the vol up + vol down at the same time to go into factory recovery. That's where I do a reboot. It states clean reboot, or something like that.
I may be off on a couple of my terms because I'm doing this from memory, but I've done this twice now.

[Q] Factory reset

Hello,
I'm having a problem doing a factory reset in recovery. Is that mostly a function of a low battery? Thanks-ALways appreciate your advice.
Steve
What is your problem? Is it giving you an error when wiping? Is this sstock recovery or CWM? Are you rooted?

This is a stock recovery, and it says that it is clearing the caches and doing the factory rest, but the phone does not reboot into factory Froyo. In fact it will not reboot at all and stays at the Droid eye. Yes I'm rooted.

What root method did you use? Were you on froyo and just gingerbreaked? Looks like you may have to sbf.
Yep. You're going to have to SBF. You most likely did something else other than rooting, probably unintentionally. It should never get stuck at the Droid eye if all you've done is root.

The phone had the OTA to Gingerbread then used pete's one touch to root and I've frozen a number of bloat. I have what I need to sbf (RSD lite and all) but the stock froyo 2.2.2 did not download well and I well as a message says it isnt compete and i will download it again.
The phone was corrupted trying to add a new theme. I've also ordered a new battery, since I cannot recharge the one in the phone.

You can sbf to gingerbread too if the froyo one has issues. That would be my next shot. It would be nice to have a CWM recovery that works after a wipe.

Should I open the Gingerbread zip before useing RSD lite, or allow RSD to unzip and open it?
I had CWM recovery, but upon an Initial attempt to factory reset, I must have lost it. It usually opened by itself when connected to wall charger, but it does not now.
But how much does a fresh battery play in this?
Under no circumstances should you use CWM, as it does not support our phones. You do NOT open a zip file to flash it over lol. Think of it like an iso, it needs to be in THAT format to be installed.

Sorry, stupid browser. Anyway, if your phone dies in the middle of a flash...helloooo brick! I didn't use P3s method, I just used the OneClick method...worked just fine for me, then installed SystemRecovery.
Okay im curious. If I have put my system recovery into the system apps folder wont it still be there after a eset? It just wont work right because usb debug needs to be on right? And also have to install recovery. But a wipe wont rid my phone of a system app correct?

Hi,
Well, I followed all of your advice, used RSD Lite and sbf'd my self back to normal. I'm now downloading the gingerbread ota and am quite relieved. Thank you very much. Incidently, I did kep the phone plugged in while at work and when I got home, did all of this, and found the battery full. So, contrary to sosme thought, the battery will stil charge even though thephone was nearly bricked.
Happy to hear that !!!

Glad to hear it worked. But u may also be getting bad battery stat reports causing it to read full. I know I have flashed a rom with around 40%and when I reboot after the flash all of a sudden I have nearly.full battery. I know it didn't charge that much in the ten minutes I took to flash lol. So I charge up (using either jhudes bump or bat calibration app) and get it back to normal.just a thought
I am also thinking of going back to froyo and doing OTA since I've heard it does wonders for battery life. Plus now we have root for it...hmm...just need a computer ;( time to call around I guess

[Q] Rezound will not boot

I unlocked and rooted my HTC Rezound using hasoon2000's all-in-one tookit v2.0 and was running cleanROM.
I am currently in a 'bootloop'. The phone will boot to the first white HTC screen without the red writing on the bottom and then it will turn completely black and will not go any further. I can boot in the hboot and recover AmonRa 3.15.
I factory reset the internal storage and nothing happened. I then reset the sd card and still no luck whatsoever.
I cannot get the phone to recognize on my laptop to relock the bootloader and am afraid verizon might notice..
I shaking and sweating a little bit, i don't want to be without a phone..
any help would be fantastic.
I would like to know how to get out of this bootloop and possibly reset back to factory settings.

going to need more info first:
1. does it say you have an unlocked bootloader?
2. you will need to take your sd card out of the phone, plug it into a pc, and download a rom, and place it on the sd card.
3. which hboot are you running at this point in time.
Will it boot if you take the sim card out? Try that

maybe try reflashing
I seem to be having the exact same problem- I can reboot into recovery and flash recovery and/or a new rom, boot into bootloader and flash boot.img, but still get stuck at white htc screen.
I had just finished a 45 minute tech call to Verizon, put the phone down for about 15 min, picked it back up to unlock and it froze. Would not respond to adb commands, finally pulled battery to reboot and bootlooping at white htc screen. Flashed both BAMF 2.1, earlier ICS backup, and factory reset from recovery.
Anyone have a suggestion as to next step? Flash RUU (I did update to 3.xx) again?
Thanks for any thoughts

Thats what we are all here for. S-Off makes flashing so much easier since it actually flashes the kernel the same time you flash the rom and when you make a backup it will actually save the kernel with the backup as well. Well worth it.

What you are going to need to do to fix this is to flash the unlocked bootloader. After that your phone should boot. If it doesn't you will need to get into recovery mode and do a factory reset. Here is a link to the unlock tool.

I've been searching all night for how to recover from this. I was trying to get upgraded to Jellybean, but ended up in this soft brick state after RSDLite. Read a lot of tricks, but this batch file made it about as easy as it could ever be! Thanks!
Unfortunately my phone is still hosed. Wifi/bluetooth goes in and out and sometimes crashes the phone all together. It's the exact same thing my last one did after about a year, and it's right at a year again. No warranty this time around though. Guess I'll upgrade to the Nexus 4 or something.

Process system isn't responding

Been playing with my phone all day and somehow it crashed/rebooted & now I'm getting "Process system isn't responding"ever time it boots back up. Im rooted and have TWRP recovery...made a backup before all this started. Tried restoring my backup, didnt work, nor did using ODIN to flash a stock file. Full wipes and format data doesn't do any good either...Any suggestions?
I had the same issue this morning and after wiping and odin'ing what seems liked 30 times for 4 hours, I ended up taking it back. BB swapped it out with no questions asked.
The only thing I can think that happened was I tried restoring a backup with TWRP. I thought I read on here that restoring was not a good idea right now.
Looks like I am going to have to return this as well...every time it boots I get that error message and then it reboots itself....Did you do anything to flash back stock status??

Oh yes, many, many times! After I got stuck in a boot loop (or bootup system error), I wiped every partition I could find on the phone using stock TWRP and OUDH recoveries. Than I would odin multiple times using the MI3 tar. The odin process would be successful, but I would get stuck in a boot-loop every time. I'm fairly savvy with Samsung phones as I have rooted all 5 that I've owned but I couldn't figure this one out so I just took it back.

After the successful Odin, have you tried booting into stock recovery and wiping data? That can often fix problems booting up after a restore..

The Sprint store is not going to have the software to restore your phone yet. So they will replace it as they want even be able to tell its rooted...Well unless they go into download mode which i don't see why they would do that right now. .. BUT This is something you can fix yourself. From what i read you only flashed the stock TAR once. Flash it again and see what happens. Pay attention to what you are restoring. The first time i rooted i couldn't make phone calls...I have no idea what cause it. Now i am on Stock but mi3 as i forgot to pull the SD card.. And its not that serious to go to mi5 at this point.
Edit: If stock still dosent work after multiple attempts.... GO ahead and flash stock rooted ROM. In the next week or so everything will be figured. out. There want be any big updates that you miss in the next month. I wouldn't worry about being on stock rooted or stock unrooted. All the same for now.
I've retried several times with the STOCK unrooted tar. No go with that. Just boot loops...
I didn't see where there is a stock rooted ROM. I'll look in the development areas for it. If you have link would you reply with the link?

Just out of curiosity reboot your phone then press and hold the menu button when the Sprint boot screen pops up on reboot..see if by some weird chance your phone boots into Safe Mode...

[Q] wifi problem

my phone sees wifi networks but wont connect is there a wifi fix im on 4.3 carbon
I've been running 4.3 Carbon for some time now and never had a wi-fi problem. Did you try wiping caches and reflashing the ROM?

yes i have is there any kind of wifi fix for this phone? or should i just try odin back to stock
No fix that I'm aware of. If it were me I'd Tibu my apps and Odin back to see if the problem goes away. I do that every so often when I start having problems that I don't see others are having. Or if I'm bored and want to remind myself why I don't like TW!

haha thats the only reason i hate going back to stock that darn TW. but will try and see if that solves my problem
Actually, it probably isn't a bad idea to do that occasionally if you flash a lot of ROMs. Gets rid of junk files and settings that aren't removed when you wipe. I imagine that you already knew that tho. Hope that straightens out your problem. Be sure to post the result.

That's normal, just go into recovery and do a factory reset. Happens every time on my phone.

Here's a guide you can use that BlownFuze posted some time back. It covers everything to Odin back to stock, get root again and reinstall your custom recovery. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=42806745&postcount=360
