Any experience with UK samsung service centre?

Hey there,
I seem to have hard bricked my S2, after it failed to wipe data /factory reset with somehow and it then failed to even get into recovery after I rebooted. I tried Odin for the usual re-flash to stock, and that also just paused at the NAND Write start... stage, and as a last attempt I tried flashing the PIT file, leading to a fully dead phone. so it'll need to be JTAG'd
I called my local service centre and they would be available on Wednesday. I told them over the phone that it was a bad Kies update that bricked it. Has anyone been through a similar scenario with them and how did it work out?
Thanks
Dont know where you based but my brother in London use Chitter chatter ( in the Shopping Mall ) something like that in Walthamstow if their not busy 1- 2 hour turn around to have hand set back..( for screen replacement and flashing handset).

[Q] Repairing LCD for i9305 in the USA

All, I bought a Brown International Samsung Galaxy SIII i9305 that is registered Germany in December. Naturally with a little bad luck, after having it for 3 days I dropped it 1 ft (with a case) onto a wooden floor and cracked the screen. Samsung USA won't touch it as mentioned in other posts because of the model. After checking with Samsung service centers in multiple countries the Service center in Germany directed me to their repair service provider in Germany. They are able to repair it BUT will only ship back to a German address. I explained the situation to the repair center but they were unrelenting. I've checked back with Samsung and there is nothing they will do as it's their only service provider in Germany.
Btw...I did check the other threads before posting this and saw that the last person with this problem sent the phone back to the UK (where it was registered) from the USA. I would be willing to pay the price, but I can't get the phone back because of the shipping only to a German address. Also as an alternative I was looking for a new screen and replacing it in the USA, but finding a Brown Digitizer seems to really be a challenge anywhere as I've only found a couple brown ones online after days of searching, and they are all for the i9300.
I checked every forum about replacing screens on an international i9305 with an international i9300 LCD and haven't seen a solid answer yet. For the time being, the LCD on the phone still works, it's just the glass is shattered,..so worst case, at least I still have a working phone.
Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!
Anyone have any ideas at all?

[Q] Samsung S2 GTi9100 Dead- Soultion Need.

Hi Friends,
I am new to this website and I am here to get a possible DIY solution to restart my Galaxy S2.
Its been a week now and its not working at all . I have checked almost all videos and thread however unable to find a steamline solution.
My phone was showing Samsung logo in case of power Up however after that there was no responce. Tried several times but no luck.
Later I gave my phone to Samsung sevice station , guy gave the assurance to get it done in 3 hrs as its a normal thing. Today, I got my phone back in a dead state and he says (Sir, we are unable to reboot as it has some harware issue and will cost over 8k INR to change the mother board).
Guys, I dont find it worth investing on a 2 Yr old phone. Hence I want to take a chance to get it started myself.
Please Guide.
You can't. Do you think they make this stuff up at service centres or something ? Not everything is a Samsung conspiracy against users.
If your phone won't boot at all & shows no signs of life, what do you expect anyone here to say ? One way or another, if you want your phone to work again, you're replacing the motherboard. Whether you pay a service centre to put a new one in, or whether you source a 2nd hand one from a 'donor' phone (one with a broken screen which is otherwise OK, for example) & either replace it yourself or pay a local mobile repair shop (who isn't a Samsung service centre) to do it, is up to you.
As you've already mentioned you have a 2 yr old phone that doesn't work, and it won't be working again without you spending a not insignificant amount money. If it were me, I'd be getting a new phone.

Has anyone had to send their S6 Edge in for repair?

I bought my S6 Edge for ATT back in April. I was plagued with the Purple Dots on the front camera. It was bad, literally 1/4 of the screen bad and they kept multiplying. I sent mine in recently. How long was your turn around time? Did the fix your phone, give you a new one, or refurbished. My only back up phone is my HTC Magic from New Zealand I bought when I lived there. Using this phone again makes me realize how far we come
yes..but in Germany.. direct to Samsung repair..means not to the provider..shipped back 6 days later..with online check what they did.. was very satisfied

Black Spot on Screen Samsung S6 Edge

Hello,
I have a samsung S6 edge phone. From past few days i am seeing a black spot under the screen. can someone help me how to fix this. I bought this phone 5 months ago from AT&T store. ATT is mentioning that they will exchange my phone with warranty claim but will exchange it with a refurbished phone.
When i called Samsung they mentioned me that i have to send the phone to them. They will do basic troubleshooting. if they can fix it they will if not they will replace the phone ( samsung mentioned they will replace with brand new phone but I doubt it as its been 5 months since i bought this phone)
I cannot send phone to samsung as i cannot end up having no phone with me for 14 days. I dont want refurbished phone either as its been only 5 months since i took this phone
can anyone help me here and suggest me a good way to fix it or get a new replacement phone
As i am new user i cant post images. please let me know how can i post images

As for your problem, I'd rather take the replacement from Samsung into account instead of ending up with a refurbished phone...even if that means you won't have it for 2 weeks. Borrow a phone from someone meanwhile
Sent from nowhere over the air...
Well without the pic we can not help you I do hope some one here can help you.
I sent the phone to samsung support and they have replaced the screen and fixed the issue. thanks everyone for helping me
