I've not used MiniCM7Pro coz I have the mini not mini pro ( x10 mini ) and that is for the pro (The One with hardware keyboard ) So, if you have the pro go for the MiniCM7Pro v21 Final coz it has to bug free or very less bugs, I think so go for the later version if u have u20a or u20i or else u have to use the Mini CM 2.1.9 as I am using..Hope I have helped you......

i'm using MiniCM7-2.1.9
it's great rom

Hi,
I am using MiniCM7 2.1.9 since months, and what I can say is that latest version has not bug and it is fast....what expecting more ?

I'm using CM7 2.1.9 too. The latest kernel by Nobodyatlall simply amazing because it has ICS transition and the rom is by far the best for X10 mini device. Furthermore, my friend simply try to install Ungaze Data2sd and this makes it has plenty of internal memory (the script add up the ext partition internal storage).

I tryed both of them and what I can say (without any bad feeling toward anyone) MiniCM7-2.1.9 is more completed and bug free (I found 0) than MiniCM7Pro (problems with tethering and hot-spot, no possibility fo switch on-off flash-light from power widgrt in task bar.. and probably more).. Anyway probably the only one advantage is use of Go Ex Louncher that I use.. Performance is equal based on a subective feelings but not measured via benchmark (I do not believe them..) In case You have specific questions feel free to ask.. I hope to be able to answer You

i use this [ROM] GingerDX | is CM7 2.1.9 too with more stuf

But You can Root Uninstall what You do not need
Is this all about preinstalled stuf or stability and relability?!?

rooted and with system uninstaler apps i uninstall what i want if dont remove it i use root uninstaler pro

Problem number 1:
This is the mini forum, not the mini pro forum.
Problem number 2:
You posted in DEVELOPMENT section just to ask which rom is better. Next time, post in the Q&A. development is, as the name obviously states, only for Android development(new roms, kernels etc)

I had MiniCM7 from V7-V21 about 4 months, all in all, great rom, BUT if you have unlocked bootloader, MiniCM7-2.1.9 + Kernel nAa-11 definitely this rom. Its much more responsive, faster, stable,no bugs (mine clocked 768mhz is flying),and its fully updated...
Just hit Thanks...

Unlock bootloader benefit, wifi tether by nAa kernel and CWMv5<< FTW!
ZPK << stable a lot..
Simple kernel << sad case wifi not working
Fa kernel v0.4 << nice, a lot feature (smartass,CWM5)
nAa kernel << for now is the best, wifi tether is fully native now due to added netfilter, sad: only works with minicm7 v2.1.7 ROM only or other ROM contain build in wifi source(only minicm7 v2.1.7). If use other custom ROM except minicm7 v2.1.7, all other ROM will get wifi error.
for my personal i choose nAa bcoz netfilter, have netfilter u will get more application support.
sry for my bad english >.<
Yeah, I had to do it, the comments was so good tha I decide to test it...
And I can see is so much better..!

Best ROM for Stock

Guys no one is giving any suggestions
which is the best ROM for STOCK kernel....>?????
MiniCM6 v1.0.6 is best for me for stock kernel!
And the best rom for everyone will be different! So you need to check yourself which suits you the best! Happy Flashing!!!

I prefer in stock kernel MiniCM7 pro V21 by Paul...
Just give a try, and decide which is better for you..!
thanks cerebro....but when i was looking for CM7 it said its for zombie and other kernels and it requires to unlock the bootloader because it installs the private kernel on that....
i will go for the custom kernel because i can feel the difference when i use the phone. so if you feel very brave and have more guts to unlock the bootloader you can test all the available kernels.
I prefer you can test that out with custom kernel. if you dont then its ok.
Every user has a personal opinion over rom and kernel. so it is pointless to know which one works with the stock kernel. You can go for a rom hunt and find out which one works for you.
Good luck!
for me best rom for stock is CM7v21 and GingerDX (any version)
also FlameDX.ICS style.

I think you are getting confused... The miniCM7Pro by paul, is this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1201116
And it works with stock kernel, I used it for a long time, in fact was the only Rom i prefered before I use the nAa.
So, give it a try...!!
I'm new here, and I'm searching for a while now for a stock 2.2.1 froyo rom because thats the most stable rom for my mini pro processor but i can't find it i found a couple but they have ugly icons of is honeycomb themed somebody know where i can find a 2.2.1 rom with original icons and theme

use the el MiniCM7 pro V21 by Paul!!! this is the best and fast rom for me! 100%...
thnx, i already tried that one but i had some issues with that rom, i have now for a few months mini arc and it works fine sometime a little bit slow and now i have v9 and looks great. i like the rom because the original state of it no weird icons or launchers (i hate that)
I have been using minicm7 pro v21 since it got out and had no problem with it.
I haven't tried arcmini or the latest gingerDX though.
Would Be MiniCM7 Pro V21...

Yes Thats quite RIGHT. Everyone has different test, demand, style. So, TO Check Every ROM as categorized GO TO THis Post>>>>>>>http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1587177
It has everything you need. Just look for you Phone model and ROMs under it.

[Q] You Choose The Best ROM

Which of the following ROM List most stable (I need stable than the Stock 2.1 ROM if it can) and fast :
- [ROM+KERNEL]X10MiniProTeam 0.5 + nAa Kernel
- [ROM] MiniCM7Pro - V21 FINAL + Stock Kernel / nAa Kernel
- [ROM] MiniCM7-2.1.9 Gingerbread 2.3.7/CM7.2 + nAa Kernel
I will be based on that for development this ROM Offical 2.3.7 from HERE
MiniCM7.
Like every other GB ROM, it does have memory issues. ICS gives plenty of memory, as much as stock, but its still in beta stage. MiniCM7 is the best we've got.
Yup, there's a lot of new ROM out there, but still got some bugs on it and likely something missing and we need to flash other zip file to fix it up. Most of the failure is about wifi connection, keybord light, force closed, network problem. This week I already used 3 rom. In the morning, I'm on prime HDv2 but right now, I'm using xmpteam rom v0.5.

Hmmm if u choose mini cm pro v21. U better use stock kernel rather than nAa kernel.. A lot of user's out there had theire touch screen not responding.
Sent from my U20i using XDA
I suggest you to use as base MiniCM7 or PrimeHD.
I have been using MiniCM7 for a while now... I must say I have no complaints about it...
MiniCM7 by nAa.
MiniCM7Pro - V21 FINAL by paul-xxx , running on stock kernel. It's the best we've got until: V03 of paul-xxx's Ice Cream Sandwich rom with fully functioning in-built WiFi. I don't want to have to flash extra zip/s to get the WiFi working - I'll unlock my bootloader, change to a custom kernel and use paul-xxx's ICS rom as soon as the WiFi just works. Plain and simple. I can't wait until V03!
[ROM] ArcMini X Remake WiFi Fixed [Links Updated] [24/2/2012]
this rom i think is very good.
just an idea
why dont you focus on stable GB rom for stock kernel?take minicm7pro as a base..and perfect it more (yep this rom is perfect, but do it more)..so that, new user come here, see you rom, download, n flash..(ofcourse they must have recovery first )..this my reasons
1. we already had a lot of gb rom using custom kernel, n new active one is x10mpteam, they doing great, so why do you want to make another?
2. we only had a couple rom using stock..and for x10mini, i dont see latest gb rom for stock, myb im wrong but after you done, you can port for them too..
MiniCM7 from nAa, with this I have 65-70mb free ram
Kernel may have something to do with it though as im on nAa-11..
Sent from my U20i using xda premium
i suggest x10 MP teams ROm with its kernel I have 92 mb free in every minute i can say and its very stable and improved 3d graphics just relax when you have a team like X10 MP team
I remember saying that the x10 mini is way ahead of the big x10 xperia.
And someone said that it's not true.... it is... and we still are.
Looks at the amount of roms with fixed EGL adreno 200 lib's for x10 mini.
Looks at the amount of roms with fixed EGL adreno 200 lib's for x10 xperia.
"there's only one and it's unstable...."
I Was using MiniCM7Pro - from v7 to FINAL v21, had a locked bootloader...then when MiniCM7 2.1.7 build showed up for our mini pros, I need to unlock Bootloader, and i did it with a lump in my throat, but all went great.. And it paid off. Thanks to Paul-xxx and nobodyAtAll for there invested time and great developing skills they have. Thanks guys!
Been running [ROM] GinTonic.SE | v2.5.1

ever since released, with standard kernel.
No problems for me, everything is working, but maybe the grass is greener on the newer ROMS ?

i was using that rom too, but since nAa ported his rom and kernel I immediately switched. gintonic is outdated and laggy compared to minicm7 2.1.9. but you must unlock bootloader and flash nAa kernel to get it working. back in the day it was longer process, and we had to do it manually, but today there are simple tools to do that easy and fast (unlocking bootloader).

It is a bit of a question of personal taste, but for me it still is MiniCM7-2.2.0 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1415026) together with nAa Kernel. Everything works, it is fast and it is stable.

MiniCM7 VS. MiniCM9

So guys,how are y'all
Now I couldnt find suitable forum for this so posted here any mod can move it
Ok so I noticed lots of people changing from minicm9 to mini cm7 after 2.2.1 was out and say its more stable ,faster ,longer battery etc.
So I thought id ask you guys whats better
1-MiniCM7 2.2.1
2-MiniCM9 3.0.1
(optional) try to tell us why you chose. And thx everyone Have A Good Day!!!!
for everyday use, minicm7 is best, everything on your phone should be working fine, where minicm9 still has driver issues, especially where video is concerned.
minicm9 needs time to mature so if you want to help with testing, please run that

Mini CM7 is better

Best rom for stock kernel

Hi
I've got quick question:
Since I can't unlock bootloader (11w43) and instal custom kernel (or maybe there is any way to do that...? ;>), which ROM is fastest and most stable? I've tried few roms and if You know something better than GingerDX it would be cool
I'm asking, becouse there are no modules for GDX on web and it's kinda lack of funcionality :/

You have gintonic by slade87 too, which is what i'm currently using at this moment for almost a year now

Afeter one day testing: mCM7 is great aat performance and battery uptime, but I've got one problem: I can't install PowerAMP and Unlocker due to insufficient memory, and these are first apps I'm installing... Also changing default installation destination to SD card via adb terminal didn't helped with that, so... It's time to buy winamp
I can't find any issues with insufficient space in the ROM's dev thread, in fact, one guy says he had installed about 89 apps... I wouldn't buy WinAmp just yet if you have a problem with installing apps.
I vaguely remember having read something about an issue like that, but the solution escapes me, mainly because i haven't experienced it myself... There should be enough app-space on your data-partition to install at least a couple of applications, maybe a full wipe or maybe format /data in CWM (mounts and storage menu) will clear your problem.
