As usual, rename the zip file to TMOUS_bootanimation.zip and put into system/customize/resources. Put the sound file in the same folder and rename to android_audio.mp3. Edit default.xml if you're having difficulties.

Here's another one
I'm ahead of schedule and made this one too. Also NFS, but only portrait.

I'm on stock TMobile rom, so I wouldn't know where to put them. But I think you can gain more insight by analyzing the default.xml file found in system/customize/CID

Will do that, thanks

It works really smoothly, thanks Way better than the CM7 ones and several million times better than the Stock HTC one
It's a really nice bootanimation. To bad it can't run as fast as it does on other high speed phones.

What do you mean as fast? When I boot after the boot screen it's a bit laggy but then it runs smoothly...I can't compare to faster phones, do you mean like running at 30fps?
its running at 24 but if you want to change it to 30 edit the desc file from 24p to 30p
Hi Darkstep......I tried both the way by coping to system/media & flashing but it didn't worked
I am using wildfire with Rempuzzle. Please help
the path for sense roms is /system/customize/resource
Thank a lot... It worked.... it's awesome...
Great work buddy!!!

v2 - bootanimation.zip (portrait mode)
I recommend the one in lendscape mode, but for those who just want bootanimation in portrait mode (slightly elongated ).... I made it.
Added a bootsound
Enjoy
Would this also work as a down animation if named and permissioned correctly? I'm no themer and have never attempted creating my own boot/down anims and thus have no idea the effort required to make them. If no, any chance you would be willing to tweak it to work as a down animation? Thanks much in advance, I really like this.

I have not tried it like downanimation, but it should work.
It seems to me that just might be too long, so it should be shortened a bit
Rename it and try if it works.
If somethings needs changing tell me what it is and I'll try to modify it.
thanks

That's a slick animation my friend! Thanks.
thanks
thanks.. i like
I make a bootanimation sound...
If I remember correctly, you need to put android_sound.mp3 to /system/customize/resource/ directory
P.S.
After download, rename android_audio.mp3.$$$ to android_audio.mp3
Anyone have this bootanimation modified without the text at the end?
I tried doing it from my phone and the animation goes for about 70% of what it should be, stutters and then loops. Created it on my pc and got the same result....
I've modified countless boot animations before...but now I'm stuck like a noob...
Thanks.

Cyanogenmod9 Boot Animation

Hi everyone, today I'm going to share with you the Cyanogenmod9 boot animation which I have modded to my needs and I thought I'd share it with everyone.
At first I was about to render the After Effects project file into a movie and then split it up into frames and all that until I realised that they actually share downloadable versions of the boot animation.
So basically all I did here was increase the loops on the second part to make it not start over so that it looks the same like in the real Cyanogenmod9 boot.
Here are 2 screenies:

}
I've got a video aswell but it is watermarked to a blog and people here will probably complain.
Instructions (For Custom ROMs which are custom bootanimation ready):
1. Transfer the bootanimation.zip file to your SD card.
2. Use any Root Browser app and copy the bootanimation.zip and then go to directory /system/media and replace your old one with this one.
3. Reboot and enjoy the animation.
Instructions (For Stock ROM users):
1. Download the Files.zip and extract it, you will get 2 files.
2. Use any Root Browser app to transfer the 2 files from your SD card to the directory /system/bin
3. After you have done that, transfer the bootanimation.zip file to directory /system/media as mentioned above.
4. Reboot and enjoy custom boot animations.
The files are attached below.
Thanks to http://cyanogenmod.com for the animation.
Feel free to press thanks if you want.
I will not be liable for any damages you cause to your phone while doing this procedure, so be careful!
Nice share my thanks comes after test.
GREEEEEEEEEETZ!!!
Thanks, let me know if you like it if you feel like testing.
hmmm
the same bootanimation from bazzrom 2.2...
------------------------
iplaygalaxyy for android
I've never even heard of that name before. I used the animation files from the official cyanogenmod site and increased the loop counts of second part so that animation doesn't start over until the phone is at the homescreen

[Boot Animation] Android Robot

I was up all night making this for my phone and thought I would share it. 1920x1080, I had a hell of a time getting it down to the size it is now and I still thinks its a little large, but it doesn't create any lag and the animation is smooth.
Unrar and copy to your sd card and then copy into system/media, be sure to rename the original boot animation before you copy over the new one.
this is just 20 frames of the animation.

You're welcome. Does the animation play back good?
I re-ripped the video in 1080 to make these, so it should be better "HD"

I am at work and won't be near a computer for a while But on my old HTC the process was fairly straight forward
Find the audio you want in mp3 format, trim it down to the length of the boot animation.
Rename it to "android_audio.mp3" and place it accordingly. I think it was in system/media/

Looking for a TARDIS bootanimation sized for a HTC One Max (1080p)
Will these display correctly on a VZW One Max?
VZW HTC One Max does not have a
/system/customization/resource/bootanimation.zip
file, it does have a vzw_bootup.zip and an
hTC_bootup_one.zip though. Would I replace
one of these with your file?
