You're welcome. Does the animation play back good?
I re-ripped the video in 1080 to make these, so it should be better "HD"

Yes plays back great rebooted my phone like ten times just to see it over and over lol any way to add boot sound like the T.a.r.d.I.s or theme from show

I am at work and won't be near a computer for a while But on my old HTC the process was fairly straight forward
Find the audio you want in mp3 format, trim it down to the length of the boot animation.
Rename it to "android_audio.mp3" and place it accordingly. I think it was in system/media/

Ok thanks will check it out later on

Looking for a TARDIS bootanimation sized for a HTC One Max (1080p)
Will these display correctly on a VZW One Max?
VZW HTC One Max does not have a
/system/customization/resource/bootanimation.zip
file, it does have a vzw_bootup.zip and an
hTC_bootup_one.zip though. Would I replace
one of these with your file?

The boot animation on the ardh rom is located in the data/local folder, can you tell me where I can put the audio? I tried customize folder and didn't work, also tried in data/folder and nope, as well as system/media.

I'm on stock TMobile rom, so I wouldn't know where to put them. But I think you can gain more insight by analyzing the default.xml file found in system/customize/CID
Will do that, thanks

Hi, months ago i made one from the jb leak (i just took pics, moved them into folders and created a new desc.txt to get a working bootanim), available here : http://ge.tt/api/1/files/4TZI58R/31/blob?download
It's a flashable .zip then you can flash or extract it if you want.

Thanks! How will I flash this on CWM or push to system/media?
I was modifying my post when you answered.
It's a flashable .zip, so you've the choice.

I flashed it, it's displaying but the problem is it's not animating. The blur stuck on the upper left.
I flashed it again but not any problem appeared. Try to flash it again and if there is still this problem, make a photo if you can.
edit : Ok sorry it was a test bootanim. lol
Right boot animation : http://ge.tt/api/1/files/4TZI58R/31/blob?download
I guess there's a problem, when finished I flashed the zip, it automatically reboots when its about to finish and ddint say its finished or what.
For the reboot that's normal.
I wrote "Redémarrage..." at the end, "reboot" in french and on the update-script of the bootanimations i modified, i added a run_program("/sbin/reboot"); to automatically reboot.
As i said it was my fault, i gave you the link of my test bootanimation, not the right which is working.
hahahaha okay a test, anyways thank you
The new one works good ?

[Boot Animation] Sony Xperia Z

got it from here: http://www.xperiablog.net/2013/01/18/jelly-bean-xperia-boot-animation-available-to-download/
then modified the desc.txt it to fit our screen and removed the "XPERIA" screen from the boot animation, so its just the animated part (reduced the file size somewhat by doing this).
download the file HERE
rename it to bootanimation.zip
place in data/local
reboot and enjoy
Preview (note that the images were degraded to create the gif, will run smoother and look better on your screen)

[Boot Animation] Android Robot

I was up all night making this for my phone and thought I would share it. 1920x1080, I had a hell of a time getting it down to the size it is now and I still thinks its a little large, but it doesn't create any lag and the animation is smooth.
Unrar and copy to your sd card and then copy into system/media, be sure to rename the original boot animation before you copy over the new one.
this is just 20 frames of the animation.

Can anyone help me in making my bootanimation??
I've made it...but it's not working...
1) same name as stock..
2) correct desc.txt
3) same pictures name.
Compression level:>> store..
And I've checked then using boot animation factory,
romtool box pro with bootanimation preview...and they are working there as I made... But when I replace them then it's not working..
And I've tried on stock 4.0.3 Rom and also on 4.2.2 , same problem...
Anyone have any ideas.... What is wrong?

Change the permisions of the file bootanimation.zip, this works for me when I have black screen.
It was nice. :good:
But pity that the fast boot option should be enabled, the boot animation does not show the full.
Please how do i enable the sound

Sorry for not response earlier , my bad.
You need to put audio file in the same place of the animation file, and then go to file explorer, menu, then give it permission to write/read, go to phone /system /customize /cid, press on default.xml and edit it, scroll down until you see where it says <BootAnimation animation="/system/customize/resource/bootanimation.zip" audio="" (or whatever it say betwen "" ) and replace it with "/system/customize/resource/minions.mp3", and press menu then save.
This work for sense rom, if you hace aosp rom, replace "system/costumize/resource" for "system/media"
Hope this works for you. :good:
