I've fully tested this recovery, and it's working for me as it should, but if it's not working for you for some reason, it's not my fault. I provide no responsibilities for bricked phones. You were warned, and You chose to flash this recovery, so don't point your finger at me if you bricked your device.

Am I wrong or there was release of CWMT for shooteru?
So is this just recent build of dev sources?

Yes, there was an official release, but that's 5.8.0.2. This one is unofficial 6.0.0.0. Koush says it speeds up backup/restore times by 4/5%. He has implemented some new features, like incremental backups, and so on.. In this release USB mass storage is working, whereas in 5.8.0.2 is not.

I sorry but without charging while the phone is off, this is useless to me. i dont care if it backs up my phone in 5 seconds flat. When I have to worry about my phone running out of battery, i get angry...
Ill stick to 4ext, as I have had no issues...

Are you sure nandroid backup is not working it skips backup of system files and just makes a small backup of about 20 Meg or so the bulk of the stuff should go in the blob folder it a feature of incemetle backup.
To restore a backup you install the main ROM again
At least that's how it works on the nexus 7

4-5% faster then official CWM or then 4EXT touch recovery?

Hi so sorry but can can someone tells me how will i instal this one?

No, it's not done that way. Download the Android SDK, then open the SDK Manager and get the SDK tools(or however they are called). Then open cmd and navigate to the platform-tools folder, which is located in the Android SDK folder, and execute the given command.

cant wait to see if 1.60 has a hole in it so we can get some s-off action
Edit. Yeah so i didnt push it threw fastboot..lol..im a dumbass, but its an easy enough fix. You will know if you do it wrong like i did (just renamed it like i had the 1.30) it wont load any battery stuff and will just turn off when it starts to boot up. i just did the fastboot stuff and I LOVE THIS RECOVERY why wasnt this the way it was done when recoveries were made.
that's what's up!

Nope. This works on HBOOT 1.50. You gotta flash it through fastboot though.
Loving this. Didn't see it listed, maybe I missed it, but I'm sure you can't restore a nandroid from the earlier version of TWRP with this one. Keep that in mind.

installed flawless here,,fantastic to no longer have to use the vol buttons!
Awesome!
Just flashed this and it is working amazingly! So far the only bugs I've ran into is the battery at 10% which has already been stated. I've restored and backed up without problems, and also have flashed a ROM and all went great! I'm not sure if it is just me, but it also seems to run much quicker than v1.1.1
Thanks for the awesome release!

[Touch Recovery][Abandoned]TWRP 2.2.0 for Rezound 7/12/2012 UPDATE

EDIT: Flyhalf has taken over development for the Rezound. Please visit his thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1902381
I have successfully ported TWRP Recovery to the Rezound. It is an unofficial port and all credit goes to teamwin.
Known Issues:
1) Can't copy things from computer over USB to the internal sd card. External card is fine and you can use the file manager to copy it over if you want.
Installation:
1. Download the version for your firmware version NOT ROM VERSION
2. Flash the zip via PH98IMG.zip. If you want to flash via fastboot, use the command "fastboot flash recovery nameoffile.img" if and pull the recovery.img out of the PH98IMG.zip
MD5 of GBPH98IMG.zip: D60D06F3AAF0346C1308CA2272638000
MD5 of ICSPH98IMG.zip: 4191B038840F1A670C0D515A804F383D
Change Log:
7/12/2012
Me: Rebased on EVO3D 2.2.0 Version
TWRP Team:
On-screen keyboard in recovery! -- supports long press, backspace repeat, and swipe left deletes everything left of the cursor
Name new backups and rename existing backups
Rename files and folders in the file manager
Pseudo-terminal emulator
Backup archive splitting -- allows backup and restore of data partitions larger than 2GB
Simplified XML layout support between resolutions
Added dual storage selection radio buttons to zip install, backup, and restore pages
Improved zip install compatibility
Updated update-binary source code
Numerous small bug fixes and improvements
5/8/2012 - RC1
Me:
Rebased to EVO3D 2.1.1 Version
Fixed internal sd mounting
TWRP Team Fixes:
Per-pixel kinetic scrolling in file selectors (this will be ported to the console and listbox in a future version)
Updated stock themes to a unified ICS-look - thanks to racks for providing the new look!
Fixed a bug that caused a crash and restart of recovery when rebooting system right after a zip install
Fixed a bug in the 720x1280 XML layout that prevented restoring a backup
4/22/2012 - BETA1
Initial Port
Bug: Internal SD card didn't mount

Wow, talk about timing lol.. I was just sitting in hboot contemplating RUUing in attempt to fix my amon ra recovery issues. Flashing and seeing if this fixes them. I don't even use internal anymore since I haven't been able to flash anything in it and it seems to get wiped alot Well, it is definately backup up so that is fixed ! now just need to see if it will mount external and I am happy as a clam ! Thank you very much Con !
Con is deff on a roll good job man thanks

I have Twrp 2.1 on my TBOLT. Uncompressed nand backups works, but if you backup using TWRP and compress, you cannot use nand to restore. Pretty simple process and works great. Wouldn't have posted this earlier but TWRP team hadn't said if it would work for Rezound yet. No e-mail from Dev team. Guess Con got his email back first.
Note: That is working on GB. No idea about ICS.
Lol, should have read a little closer.. yes this does not work on the new firmware yet I was just stoked trying to fix my amon ra issues I glossed over the big red lettering lol.. Still works except for as you noted mounting internal and no it doesn't mount the new firmware properly to flash new roms.
Thanks again Con.. really looking forward to the new firmware version
This will work fine for new firmware, the internal SD won't mount though which doesn't work anyway.
nevermind.

Well, when I tried to flash a rom on the new firmware , it wiped just fine but when the installer tried to install the rom it said E:\ can't mount SD card and errored out .
nice job con!
Stock GB - Rooted - S-Off
Just loaded this and did a backup (Amon-Ra would NOT backup)... worked fine backing up.
Note that the backup went to the /sdcard not /sdcard2 which I think is normal right?
CORRECTION: It said it was going to /sdcard but it actually ended up on /sdcard2
Tried taking a capture of the screen using ddms but it came out scrambled.
Never played around with the leak.
Awesome work con247!

[VZW] Stock Rooted Odex/Deodex

Disclaimer: Flash this ROM at your own risk. I am not responsible for what you do on your device. I left this stock to provide a base for anybody that wants to use it. Mod this rom how you want. Just please remember to give credit where credit is due.
This is a pure stock rooted rom. It has items like busybox, init.d support, unsecure boot.img and so forth. No apps were added or removed. Both Odexed and Deodexed versions below.
This is using stock unmodified zImage from HTC. Kernel source can be grabbed from HTCDev when they decide to release it

Thanks to rhcp for the dump and testing
Move along from this post (not thread) people, nothing to see here.
Vinchenzop said:
Here is a unsecured version of the boot.img I made. Either flash via fastboot, put into the rom.zip from above, or someone can make a flashable zip for it.
This kernel is unsecure for root, and adb superuser permissions (being able to mount system r/w via adb).
Again, it's only the boot.img, not a flashable zip.

Being officially supported by TWRP means that future recovery versions will be automatically built (and you'll be able to install using their tool from the Play Store), so it's worthwhile effort getting to this point.
Flash in the usual way, using 'fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.0.2-0-plank-test.img' and let me know how you get on. Cheers!

I've seen that on a bunch of devices actually. Wonder if it's related to the 'secure wiping'...

you lot are excellent!
by the way, what is the difference between yours and @jemmini twrp3?
Post
also, when is it going to become official TWRP?
any bugs?
thanks a lot and keep the good work coming!
I imagine they will be basically the same.
It should become official TWRP as soon as a feature we need merged in is actioned and my work is OK'd. Hopefully not too long.
The Gerrit change (to fix a problem with the touchscreen when recovery first boots) that we need is here - https://gerrit.omnirom.org/#/c/17768/.

Thanks!

I've been working on creating the basic device tree needed to get the latest TWRP built for our Honor 7s and most importantly, accepted as an official TWRP recovery. I think I'm basically there, but if anyone can put this test build through its paces, that would be great.
Cheers!

Tested on B180 Lollipop, wiped cache and dalvik, used rm -rf instead of formatting option and very quick wiping. Made a back-up and one error report about being ''unable to locate 3rmodem partition for backup calculation'', but I think we just probably don't have this partition on our phone?
This version also remembered all my settings, time zone, timeouts etc from previous TWRP version.
All seems good so far.
