Is it normal? - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm really curious about my S2's screen. My phone has 2 faint purple lines just below the statusbar. There are blue tint viewing angles too. I haven't seen blue tint on my tab 7.7, it was built with the same screen type. Should I take it to the service centre for replacement?

Colors cm9

Hi all,
Quick question about the color settings. With some htc devices I use I notice that the dark grey colors are more green grey with the s2.
For example the ics popup windows within the menus.
To be honest, I like the dark grey better than the color with my s2.

So just took another S2 and put the phones next to each other, and mine is definetly more "green" then the other one. Mine is about a year old, the other one 3 months.
Are the newer ones sold with different screens ?
If you see both screens next to each other, it is a big difference. One has the green glow, the other one is just solid dark grey.

[Q] Digitizer/Grey Lines

I'm wondering if the faint vertical gray lines I see on my G3 are a device specific issue or if everyone is having the same problem. For some reason whenever I look at the stock background or anything with white or light colors I can see vertical gray lines on my G3's screen. They aren't that noticeable, but now that I have noticed them, I seem to always notice them. Does anyone else have this problem or should I exchange my device for a new one?
So looking at a white or light background makes these "grey bars" visible?

Yes, faint but now that I've seen it already they bug me.
All the LG G3 phones have it. Some people notice them, some don't. And they vary in degree
Those little grey lines
Are your phones capacitive input sensors, its how the phone registers touch.

Open inside phone. Dry with hairdryer and wipe screen cable's microchip with a dry towel.

Galaxt Tab s7+ black spot on the screen

Hi guys!
There is some strange spot on the screen of my Galaxy Tab s7+ at the place of fingerprint scaner. I can see it on dark gray, dark green and dark red test images. When I showed this defect to technical support guys from our local Samsung service they said that this is normal for Galaxy Tab s7+ model because this spot is technological air gap between fingerprint sensor and the screen. They refused me in tablet replacement. Honestly I don't believe in their explanation. What do you think guys ?
There are photos of the defect of my screen:

Could you kindly test your s7+ tablets on this test images in low light room?
Do you have similar spot like in my photos ?
Thanks in advance.
PS. Sorry for bad english, this is not my native language.

I think the same, that this is a defect. But I can't prove it to Samsung service for now .

Question Gray bar across the top of the home screen

I got my 1 III yesterday and noticed just now that there is a gray bar across the top of the screen. I do not recall seeing it there before. It almost looks like backlight bleed on a normal screen but I know it cannot be that on an OLED. If I go into another program like the camera app, the gray bar goes away which points to it being a software issue. Is anybody else having this issue?
I was able to take a picture of it:

I also have it in my Xperia 1.. so it's a part of the wallpaper and I was like you but then I realized it's not a hardware problem. so, no worries! your phone is intact
