Hi can anyone help me I have been trying to update my phone a Toshiba TG01 from Wm 6.1 to Wm 6.3 but without any luck.
The update is not available from Orange Uk, and the Toshiba web site has a broken link I have searched all over the web but cannot find any
link to the stock rom files, it's as if the phone is no longer supported.
Pease can someone help thanks.
I have original WM6.5 UK Orange rom. Let me know whether You are still interested in it . I will upload it then.

This time forgive me but I am just on my vacations so I will be able to to any upload no sooner than 02-01-2013 , but check this thread from time to time. Maybe I will be able to do any upload much earlier, even today, who knows

As @fxdjacentyfxd will still be away for a few more days, here is a link to the original Orange ROM .
I've put onto DevHost, which should be a permanent home.
Here is also the 'Instructions' .pdf which went with it.

ROM update is on FTP in Alpine folder
the current rom is available from o2's website for the xda2 which is the launch rom

I purchased an O2 XDA IIi from UK on April 10 but now the wifi function is faulty.
Try hardreset but device still can not detect wifi network

if t-mobile uk hasnt released wm6 yet, you can just enter your cell phone number at (http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/phone-support/) and it will give you the original download for t-mobile. good luck

I've entered my number but the only options are to receive settings for Internet, Email and MMS. No firmware updates are available for the Vario II. (unless I've missed something?)

Sadly it will only allow you to download the wizard rom and not the hermes.

It's for UK TMOBILE
That ROM has Hungarian language settings and would show as the locale defaults i.e. date on today screen that when a hard reset is applied. I was also looking for an original UK ROM image and found one courtesy of the forums.
Thinking on is the default locale settings for a given ROM held in the extended ROM ? The reason I ask is that I flashed with a Hungarian image and then a UK ROM image, but the Hungarian locale settings are in play when a hard-reset is applied. Given I need to return the unit for a screen fault I obviously want to restore the unit to it's original state.
Can anyone help ?

I would like if someone can help me find somewhere the original UK orange room WM6.1 on the net or save that somewhere for me. Im looking for a day now and and liknks posted here looks dead. I need that room do unlock my phone as i have already flashed other room and when i boot the phone with other sim the request for unlock not poping up anymore. I think i need the original room and all will work out.
Pleas anybody on megaupload or rapidshere or somewhere just put the original UK orange room WM 6.1 and 6.5 i dnont know whitch one will work.

EDIT: ANYONE IN FUTURE: This is NOT original ROM - try NOT to flash it if you can get original 6.5 off toshiba website. if not PM me and will be happy to upload it for you. This rom is translated from non-English lang - when you use few apps they show Italian plus is buggy. PLEASE DONT USE IT UNLESS YOU HAVE TO. Get ORIGINAL from Toshiba Website instead.
Im not sure if official room have this toshiba strips as well coze this one not as original 6.1ver but it has all the original orange staff and i was able to unlock my phone with this room. I hade some Rooms with Sense installed but battery drain far to fast in 4.or 5 hours but with this room i was using the phone for couple of hours even with wifi and battery still in about 90% so it looks very good to me. I would like to tray some debranded rooms and well see.

Atm, no cab file exist.the stripes in wm 6.# are better than 6.5 coz of the animations. I made a post on this a while back. Somebody was going to take up the job for it.i think it was novembre5
