hi there. anybody has some pic comparisons between Sony's camera and JB? is it worth replacing, or can they coexist (1 lib file needs overwriting)?

I suppose you could raise a valid point regarding the famous 2x2 chroma subsampling and image quality, but is the image quality on a Ray better than on a Neo?? or did SE use the same libmmjpeg.so on every phone???
Well the video recording is not working on Neo, maybe the Ray version does, and thus giving us video recording again. Maybe the quality is better of the Ray ?
Quality is better on ray when compared with neo.. But is it possible to replace the files from ray and use them on neo??
update : tried using libs from ray on my neo!!!
result : BOOTLOOP!!!

I think you dont set permission the ray camfile

I just search the Nexus 5 gallery app and find this. It work great on my Xperia U running 4.1.2 stock :laugh:
It take picture quicky and the photo quality is the same as the cybershot mod, i just say wow :good:

Xperia P works, but better quality Cyber-shot. There is no denying that the interface is good but the photos do not have the same zoom and quality. Cyber-shot was designed by Sony for Xperia and this for Nexus.

I made several captures w/o this app with my xperia mini.
so our phones camera is capable of doing bokeh effect
if we succeed in porting this app than we can have a great camera for our devices.
